Ich habe nach 4 gebuchten Nächten noch um 3 verlängert. Das sagt schon einiges. Zum hotels.com Preis in der Nachsaison stimmte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Einrichtung (klassische Hotelmöbel) ist nicht neu, aber auch nicht sehr abgenutzt. A/C funktioniert. Kostenloses W-LAN und Safe im Zimmer ist gut. Das Bad ist etwas veraltet aber (bis auf […] etwas Schimmel an der Decke) sauber und genügend weiße Handtücher immer vorhanden. Der Service war freundlich. Der Nachtreceptionist war ziemlich muffelig aber letztendlich auch hilfreich. Der kleine Waschsalon war beim längeren Aufenthalt sehr hilfreich und Denny's Diner nebenan oder das jap. Restaurant und zu auch, wenn man's nicht downtown schafft. Nachteilig fand ich: Man hört bei den Zimmern zum Encinitas Boulevard hin den Verkehr immer rauschen. Ob das bei den Zimmern "nach hinten" besser ist, weiß ich nicht. Aber ich persönlich konnte trotzdem sehr gut schlafen. Ohne eigens Auto ist man ziemlich weit weg von allem. Das Frühstück (incl.) wir komplett nur aus Styropor-Geschirr angeboten und besteht zum Großteil aus Süßkram. TV-Senderauswahl lässt zu wünschen übrig. TV-Senderauswahl lässt zu wünschen übrig. Its was nice and in good condition

I simply needed a place to stay in order to be near an early morning appointment. Seemed clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly.

Cost effective, clean and close to the beach. The rooms are pretty basic, but the service is very accommodating and awesome.

This hotel was conveiniently located just west of I-5, half a mile from the beach,15 minute walk to shopping and dining. Grocery stores near by, beautiful park with playground across the street, Denny's in the parking lot, it was perfect for us. Hotel is old and in decent condtion. Can't expect 5 star condition when you are paying less money. We had no issues with it. Everything was as expected

We visited our daughter who lives just a mile away. The hotel was great as a base. Very comfortable bed - clean room - warm cookies upon arrival. Denny's is right next door (it was ok) but there were any number of restaurants in downtown Encinitas that are great.

I have stayed several times at this hotel and it's always a great value - just a good, clean, basic room. It has the amenities I like to have - coffeepot, microwave and mini-fridge. The room is quite small but so is the price compared to other hotels in the area. And the room is clean, and the maid service keeps it that way. That meets my requirements. Really good value for the price. Comfy bed, small room but very clean and new. Good variety for continental breakfast. Close to Peabody's bar & grill - excellent food.

this inn was very comfortable and clean, more than we expected it to be. lots of parking, it was definitely a bang for the buck! friendly service.

Days Inn, Encinitas was a real find. Friendly, helpfull staff, spotless, well decorated, comfortable room. Great location to Hwy, main streets, shopping & The Ocean! &..... The price was so reasonable for such a great place. I highly recommend Days Inn, Encinitas CJ from Gilroy

Had the suite.

If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this is a good hotel. Close to freeway but not so close as to be noisy. Denny's nearby so breakfast is easy and the shower and bed were actually pretty good for the type of hotel. Only complaint or warning is just the difficulty in finding parking on weekend nights when the hotel is busy but that is to […] be expected. Great price and quality. Easy access to beach and right off freeway.

This is my third or fourth stay here. Unfortunately, my visit has been for medical reasons and not for fun, but the motel is right off the I-5, the beach and Leggoland.

Encinitas is just north of the VERY PRICEY La Jolla and Del Mar communities. We needed to be near the Scripps-Green Hospital and this Days Inn fit the bill. We only needed a clean and comfortable place to sleep for two nights. We were close enough to enjoy walks on the beach and plenty of scenery and eating opportunities without the high cost of places […] a little south. Great staff! Thanks. Mehr

The only problem was other guests that were yelling outside our door at 11:30 at night. They were talking loud, laughing and yelling for about 15 minutes, it woke us up and it was hard to go back to sleep. We did not contact the front desk because we thought it would just last a couple of minutes.

If you get caught in a historic blackout as I was this is the place to be. Hotel is near the ocean and even without power the room was comfortable. Staff was as helpful as possible under the circumstances-which were difficult. Good staff makes the rating.

For the affordable price- I was surprised, Alexis at the front desk was absolutely courteous, friendly, professional, and helpful. Legoland tickets cheaper from this hotel. Staff was kind, Room was clean and comfortable. Free Continental Breakfast was very good and filling. Location was perfect, easy fwy access, beach,stores, and restaurants/ fast food […] places walking distance. Will definitly go back. Parking was free and easy, bigger plus. We had planned on staying in Del Mar close to the Race Track but nothing was available as there was a huge race that weekend ($1,000,000) so we called hotels.com and were directed to the Days Inn Encinitas. The hotel is a five mnute walk to the Transit Centre which was perfect as we just hopped the Coaster to Del Mar and shuttled to the race track. […] The room was clean and comfortable and even thoughit is quite close to the highway we weren't bothered by the noise at all. The fridge and micorwave was a bonus and the breakfast just typical fare for budget hotels. There is a Denny's in the parking lot however we were dissapointed that they didn't serve wine or any alcohol. The beach is a 7 minute walk and town with it's great shops and restaurants is about 7 minutes too! We enjoyed our three night stay very much and will be back next racing meet. Mehr

The staff were helpful and rooms were clean and well maintained.Ideal location to beaches and shopping.

This hotel is awesome! The staff is very friendly and kind, and the service is really good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. If I were to say anything that wasn't good for me personally, it was the fact that I was on the third floor, on the other side of the house form the elevator. With two really heavy suitcases, it was a fight […] for life to get to the room. There was no service for my phone there, so whenever I needed to make a phone call, I had to step outside or even go downstairs and move away from the motel a little. Breakfast was nice, and the fact that there was just a 15 minute walk to Moonlight beach was extraordinary convenient. Mehr

The room was OK. Because we had requested queen size bed the only room available was a handicapped access room. Kind of weird!

Our stay was average. It's one of the most affordable hotels in the area and I liked that it was right down the street fro m Moonlight Beach. The rooms are average but again, affordable. On a budget, I would stay there and recommend it to others understanding that it's a means to save money to spend on your vacation instead of your room.

small but nice

Good value in proximity to beach. Did not feel very secure with my kids being outside hotel due to the interesting choice of people lounging throughout the property. One area outside of pool had day laborers looking for work all day long. Room was good. Service was good.
