Als wir um 2 Uhr Nachts ankamen behauptete der Frontdesk zuerst, wir hätten keine Reservierung gemacht. Nachdem wir die Reservierungsbestätigung vorgelegt haben, war dann doch eine Reservierung vorhanden. Unter dem Kopfkissen waren schwarze Krümel, was ich für Mäuse-Kot oder was ähnliches hielt. Wir waren aber so müde, dass uns nicht viel anderes übrig […] blieb, als die Krümel wegzuwischen und auf diesem Bett zu schlafen. Die Nacht habe ich nicht gut geschlafen, da ich immer dachte irgendwelche Mäuse würde mich eventuell anknabbern... Am folgendem Morgen wollte ich nicht mal mehr duschen, sondern nur noch weg von dort. Ich würde das Days Inn Barstow niemandem empfehlen. Für den gleichen Preis kann man auch eine Travelodge oder Super 8 buchen und mit diesen waren wir auf unserer Reise immer sehr zufrieden. Also ja nicht Days Inn in Barstow buchen! Mehr

I found a big cockroach, in the tub. the next morming. Very Disgusting!! although the staff is good.

If you want a breakfast of bran flakes and maybe some milk you are in the right motel. I will try another motel in Bartow on my next trip.

it was good for the price. was a chemical odor in the room as i had previously read on a review. just slept, showered, and continued the trip to vegas.

This hotel is fine for a short night if you just want some rest. It was clean, friendly staff and a quiet night.

This was not the cleanest hotel I have been to but it did the job of being a place to rest for the nite. The grout in the bathroom was kind of messed up an the walls were dirty in numerous places we have a 1year old son and 5month baby so it was convient we brought his playpen so he was not roaming around in the room. The desk people were great, they had my room key all ready by the time I got there. The room was clean, there was a microwave and a refrigerator. The tv was older but worked fine. The sheets were so soft and the bed very comfortable. Would advise requesting a room on the north side of the hotel as the freeway was a bit noisy on the south side. CARPET IN ROOM FILTHY

Not enough towels in the room.

Saw and busted roches in the wall.

Better than I expected for such a low price. Even had a mini fridge and microwave. Tons of fast food restaurants within walking or short driving distance for breakfast if you miss their continental one, as we did.

Used this hotel twice in the past week because of the price and location, which was half way to and from my destination. It was cheap, and you get what you pay for. The blankets had holes in them, the light fixtures were either falling apart or broken. The first night the room was marginally acceptable, which is why I stayed the second night on my return. […] That was a mistake. The room they put me in was dirty, the fridge didn't work, and the cover plate to the air conditioner was missing and the inside was filthy, blowing dirt and dust. I asked to be moved to another room. That one was worse. More holes in the blankets, the stopper in the sink didn't work, and the sink was leaking. The toilet didn't flush properly and had to be flushed several times. I would spend the extra money next time and stay somewhere else. Mehr

This place is just off the main drag and near I-15. Restaurants are walking distance. Great price. The only negative is that the breakfast area is tiny. You'll probably want to eat out.

This is a decent stopover hotel, very near I-40. It is pretty utilitarian, but fine for what it is, and inexpensive. We were on the side of the hotel away from the road, and it was reasonably quiet. Everything in the room worked fine and was clean. The bed and pillows were adequate, towels better than expected. My one complaint would be a very skimpy […] breakfast and non-existent breakfast area, so figure you might end up at a breakfast place or coffee shop. Mehr

Very nice room for an older motel. They had breakfast, but was in a small place, so we went someplace else to eat as it was crowded.

stopped overnite on long road trip, the lady at front desk was nice but everything else was bad and then worse. The carpet was so dirty we had to wear our shoes all night and put them on even to go to bathroom because otherwise the bottoms of our feet were black like tar. The bedding was filthy there were obvious stains on the comforters and although […] the sheets appeared to be clean they were stained and threadbare. There were many "guests" at this hotel who were more like residents that stared at us from their windows. Watching my family and I as we swam in the pool and as we unloaded and loaded our car. Was very uncomfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was a joke. It was a pitcher of TANG passing as orange juice. Mini chocolate covered donuts in a communal bowl with no serving utensils. Room temperature milk and stale cereal. Stay anywhere but here, seriously your trunk would be a better deal! Mehr

Very good deal

Used the Days Inn to get away from the LA traffic at night and get a jump on the next days drive. Very small breakfast. Completely ignored my room request. Nice employees though. Room was tiny, old, beat up, and dusty in some spots. Giant cob web in one corner of the room.

The Days Inn in Barstow is a great place to stop for the night! It is 1/2 way between Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and the outlets nearby are a decent distraction from the town itself. Of 6 hotels we stayed in over vacation, this was the worst. Not that it was awful, but you get what you pay for. The place is a bit rundown. The breakfast buffett was pitiful in a tiny area near the front desk. Nothing realy healthy to pick from. Room was nice enough, but the surrounding area was dismal looking. Nothing really happening here.

room very small, including the bath room. everything possible was jamed in to say it was furnished. it is a toss up which made more noise the trains or the ac. alternate solution get a tent. very dissatisfied, you get what you pay for

Had a quick overnight trip to Barstow.. Nice place for the money. Clean... They need to update those old Tube TV's and get working Irons.. But overall nice...

For a quick overnight very close to I-15, it was ok. Not fancy, but the bed, shower and TV were all we needed.

This is not a five star hotel, neither is it a five star motel. So when I give it a 4-star rating, I am basically saying, if you are looking for a 2 star motel to stay in, then this 2 star motel is pretty good. You're not going to sleep on 600-thread-count sheets, you're not going to have bath robes or slippers. You're just getting a place to stay the […] night. The location was very convenient. There was a continental breakfast which was complimentary so that was very nice. We were low on towels though. Although I had booked the hotel room specifically for four people, we only received two body towels and two hand towels. When we went to the front and asked for more towels, the manager was reluctant to give us just two more body towels. We didn't even bother with asking for hand towels. Minus one star for that. We arrived there pretty late and the receptionist pretended that he did not receive our reservation because of issues with their system. We had all the reservation numbers but still he tried to make us pay a second time, saying that we will cancel later on with hotel.com. He got really annoyed when we refused to pay and called the customer service of […] hotel.com (which by the way was very efficient). He did not even let us use his phone, I had to call with my mobile to solve the problem. I guess he just wanted us to pay directly so he would get the full money without any intermediate. Overall, he was very rude, not helping at all, and even burped at our face several times. If it had not been so late, we would have just run away! Mehr

Outside of a convenient location, this motel was lacking in so many ways. Cleanliness was an issue with a refrigerator door wiped with a wet cloth, leaving a smeared surface which wasn't wiped dry and the carpet between the refrigerator and the dresser hadn't seen a good vacuuming in ages. Just enough of a problem to put the entire room into question. […] The ice machine actually worked though! The continental breakfast was minimal with bagels and cream cheese obviously the best choice. Mehr

Fair price for services. Good choice of restaurants...STARBUCKS nearby!

I've stayed in "roach motels" before but this was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! I would have been better off pitching a tent in the parking lot. Avoid this hotel!!!!

verry nice people and friendly

The Days Inn room like other reviews had a strange oder to it. It smelled as if it use to be a smoking room that was painted over to cover up the smoke smell. The room was clean other than the weird odor. The desk manager was friendly when we arrived. There was a barking dog that was left outside in a car. I called the front desk and they contacted […] the owner who quieted the dog. It is a decent place to stay on your way to or from Las Vegas. Mehr

I got this room because it was the cheapest in the area, and it lived up to it's price. The room smelled so bad I had to go and buy some air freshener to get to sleep. The light bulbs in the bathroom did not work, and when I asked the front desk about them, I was told to give them a good knock to get them to work.
