Nice comfortable bed, adequate living space, simple cereal breakfast, if you like that sort of thing, but a bit noisy with slamming doors...old building...very close to all the shops in Gt. Barrington. Would do it again.

Hotel is one of the cheaper ones in the area, good location right in town and has the distinction of being in front of the Peter Pan bus stop, so a plus if you don't have a car. You get all the basics, no frills (except for continental breakfast). No luggage storage if you arrive before check-in or need to leave some bags after check out -- unusual […] for a hotel. Advertises free internet access but, as is often the case, it doesn't really work. Not bad if you're on a budget -- otherwise I would check out one of the more charming B&Bs in the area, especially if you have a car (renting one locally is fairly inexpensive). Mehr
Wouldn't hesitate about staying again in this motel, BUT!!!!! The odour of the room was annoying, not mildew or smoke, just not fresh. Even with the windows open the 2 days wasn't enough.
Stayed only one night. For my purposes, the hotel was just fine.
"You get what you pay for."
The only good thing about this hotel was the proximity to downtown GB. The rooms were tiny and lacked basics like a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bathroom was grimy, and the walls had un-patched holes in them. The TV remote in my room had 2 band-aids instead of a batter cover. Classy. "comfortable beds"
We were gone for a week and this Day's Inn had the most comfortable beds of any place we stayed. Yes it is an older motel, but the new decor and pillow top matresses were great...only small negative was the skimpy breakfast...just the minimum juice, coffee, and roll...no eggs or hot food.

The motel is right in the heart of the town, which is great. The room with two queensize beds was comfortable and clean. The breakfasr buffet was very nice with a good selection.

They redid the rooms and they should update their pictures, we came we were suprised by the beautiful new remodeled room and bathroom and we love the new design of the sheets! really comfotable beds and pillows!! They should really update their pictures!!!
"Experience the Berkshires up close"
Although the hotel is conveniently close to all in the Berkshires, we found it to be somewhat suitable for our needs. We were given another room because we did not like the smell (like 'musty' smell from ciger smoke) in our room. The location suited our needs. Bathroom ceiling needs attention. Bathroom has poor ventilation. The area is pricey but I thought this was over priced for a one night stay.

Nice clean bed and room. The rooms are not fancy, but would definitely recommend for a short stay. Hotel is in the center of Great Barrington and shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hotel is on a busy road, but because it is set back far enough, the rooms are quiet.

"Nice Room for the Money"
This is a 2-story garden style motel. The room was large, and the bathroom was modern, with large tiling on the floor. It was very clean/well maintained. This is not the kind of place to stay if you are going to hang around the facility for entertainment, but a very comfortable room at a reasonable price.

Very helpful staff, great location, price was right. Good shower, good air con. Jacuzzi right next to the bed did not make sense. Finishing touches were cheaply done e.g. backward door handles, new lock not covering old lock and empty space exposed. But overall was adequate and clean.

"Better than average"
South side of Great Barrington, near older touristy section but farther from Lenox. Beds are relatively comfortable and the A/C is quiet. Small refrigerator is useful. Breakfast is a joke,

A most pleasant stay. Room was nicer than expected. Service was quite cooperative.
"It is what it is..."
This hotel is all about location, location, location. If you want to walk to the main downtown area this is your hotel/motel. It is a very modest hotel/motel, in acceptable condition. It is not the type of room that encourages you stay inside and hangout, it is just a place to use as base camp to head downtown for the night.

"Acceptable... great location"
You stay here to be right in town, and stay cheap. The staff was friendly and appropriate. Room was a little worn around the edges, but clean. Not great, but I was happy enough. Best part is just a few blocks from the center of town... plus if there on the weekend, parking in town is not easy.

AWESOME hotel. Very clean. staff is crazy nice. Possibly one of the nicest Days Inns I've stayed at in a long time. Perfect location for the business traveler. A simple hotel, clean. It's a basic hotel but includes all the essential things you need for a night. Breakfast is minimalist but good enough. Good for the price.

We loved the hotel. Vijay (the owner) and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable...nothing fancy, but nice enough. The mattresses were brand new and very comfortable as well. The staff went out of their way to help us. The breakfast buffet was a hit with my kids: hot chocolate, chocolate donuts and good bagels. We stayed at the Days Inn originally because we were unable to find anything in Stockbridge for the Rockwell "Christmas on Main St" re-creation. Now I'm glad that we didn't find anything in Stockbridge, because not only is Great Barrington a lovely town with some great restaurants, but the Days Inn was also a most pleasant surprise. The bed was excellent - had the best night's sleep in a while (of course not having cats taking up bed space also helped)! the complimentary basic continental breakfast (bagels, donuts, muffins) was a nice touch and was fast and convenient as we headed out for the day.
