Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist mit der skytrain vom Flughafen prima erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht mehr die neuesten, aber dennoch sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Delta Privilege Member hat man das Internet kostenlos (beim check in ggf. einscchreiben oder nachfragen). Immer auf günstige Angebote achten, da Delta diese z. T. kurzfristig einstellt.

The location of the hotel next to Stanley Park is perfect. I was on a business trip, and it was great to go for jogging in the morning. I also enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel bar. The view onto the water is fantastic. I can also highly recommend their cocktails. However, I would have enjoyed the hotel even more with a better hotel service. The people at the receptiion were not very cooperative.

"Ein echter Geheimtipp für Vancouver Reisende !!!"
Das Hotel liegt super, Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vor der Tür, Skytrain Station in ca 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichen. Das Hotel ist trotz der zentralen Lage extrem ruhig mit idyllischem Innenhof. "Laute Haustür verhindert Schlaf"
Ich empfehle jedem, der hier Eincheckt ein Zimmer zurückzuweisen was in der Nähe der diversen Haustüren liegt, denn diese fallen bei jeder Benutzung sehr laut ins Schloß. Unseres lag leider so, daß die Tür auf der anderen Wandseite fast neben dem Kopfende des Bettes war. In der ersten Hälfte der Nacht kamen und gingen andre Gäste alle 5 bis 10 Minuten, […] so daß wir nicht schlafen konnten. Als ich dann entnervt an der Rezeption um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten haben, hat man mir das verneint, da sie ausgebucht seinen. Aber man versprach mir nach einer Lösung zu suchen. Ob dies erfolgreich war oder einfach alle anderen Gäste angekommen waren oder wir vor Müdigkeit einen sehr tiefen Schlaf fanden, kann ich nicht sagen, jedenfalls konnten wir die zweite Nachthälfte durchschlafen. "Housekeeping an nur 1x bei 2 Übernachtungen"
Zimmmer war ruhig nach hinten zur Wohngegend hin und nicht zum Drive-thru vom "MäckBürger". Housekeeping war nur an einem Tag von zweien...Ohne erkennbaren Grund. Keine Entschuldigung...Frühstück war schmal...

Ein schreckliches Hotel, wir hatten für zwei Nächte gebucht und wollten sofort auschecken als wir den Zusatnd des Hotel gesehen haben und waren sogar bereit für eine Nacht ohne es überhaupt benutzt zu haben zu zahlen. Trotzdem hat das Hotel für beide Nächte kassiert. Ich glaube sie hatten sogar unser Nichtbenutztes Zimmer sogar weiter vermietet. Comfort, […] Sauberkeit & Freundlichkeit ist hier ein Fremdwort. preis-leistungsverhaeltnis ist nicht akzeptabel, waren in der gleichen hotelkette in seattel und konnten so feststellen welche wahnsinnigen unterschiede von stadt zu stadt und eventuell land bestehen, in seattel war das hotel um die haelfte billiger bei mehr sauberkeit ,moderner einrichtung kuhlschrank, microwelle und teekocher und grosszuegigerem fruehstueck warum […] geht das nicht auch in vancouver? "Lage zu dountown"
Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis .Das Hotel ist mit dem skytrain und dem Bus ( 2 Stationen ) von dountown gut zu erreichen . Da man in Vancouver selbst ja kein Auto benötigt , ist das Hotel eine preiswerte Alternative zu den z.T. deutlich teureren Hotels in der Stadt selbst.
"Hotel liegt nahe an Schnellbahn zur Stadt"
Hotel war o.K.. Lage an schnellbahn sehr gut. 10 Min. Fußweg. 2,75 Dollar pro Person. Fahrt ca. 15 Min. Bus ist umständlicher, dauert ca 45 Min. Obwohl, Haltestelle liegt vor Hotel links. Ansonsten im Hotel etwas chaotischer Service, aber gutmütig und hilfsbereit. Innenraum des Hotels parkähnlich und sehr sauber.
"Absolut empfehlenswert"
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Keine Parkplatzsuche wie in der Innenstadt. Nach 10 min Fussweg erreicht man die Sky Train Station Nanaimo, von der man bequem und schnell am besten mit Day Pass (9 Dollar) in die Innenstadt gelangt. Die Fahrt mit dem Sea Bus über das Burrat Inlet ist inclusive. Sehr schon ist der in Kanada sonst völig unübliche Innengarten, […] in dem man den Abend ausklingen lassen kann. Die Zimmer sind Standard. Ich würde das Hotel bein einem kommenden Besuch immer wieder wählen. Es handelt sich um eine sehr gute Alternative zu den sehr teuren Innenstadthotels. Mehr

Die Hotelmitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend vorhanden. Die Lage des Hotels ist zwar etwas ausserhalb Vancouvers, Downtown ist aber gut mittels Bus (Haltestelle direkt vor Hotel) oder Skytrain (Haltestelle ca. 10 min Fussmarsch) erreichbar. The hotel is 15 minutes away from downtown by bus. The bus station is just around the corner. Parking lots available. Rooms are clean and big enough. Breakfast room is really small. Depending on the time you won't be able to sit down. Service is good. In general good hotel for the price.

The main street out front of the motel is being torn up for sewer pipes and its going to last a few months at least. Try to get a room on the lower floor as no elevators & stairs narrow. Differcult to carry bags up the staircase. Also try to get a room away from the Mcdonalds resturant side. Its drive through is open 24/7 & noisey. Rooms are ok for […] non-season price. Bus line out front, easy to downtown but having a car way easier. good motel parking. Room has been remodeled. Room has fridge, but NO MICRO. Mehr

"Convenient location"
The room was satisfactory considering the price. Attending a workshop late into the evening, the room was just intended for sleep and showering. It served it's purpose in that respect, although it was quite noisy early in the morning because of some rowdier tenants. Also, being located right next to an all night fast food restaurant didn't help the […] situation. If I were to attend another workshop in the same location, I wouldn't have a problem staying at the same location. Mehr

The location was the worst part of this hotel. We had to drive downtown. The bus is right out front, but takes about 20 minutes. The subway wasn't too far (we found it the next day on our run) but we were told it was about a mile and we couldn't tell if the neighborhood was ok. "Just Right for the Price"
Hotel is pretty central to all of the must see sights. I booked using hotels.com and got a pretty good deal for my room. I must say that the walls are very thin - you can hear EVERYTHING that's going on outside of your room, and the bed was pretty hard. Other than that, the room was very tidy and smelled good.

"Very convenient location"
The hotel was fine for what we were looking for. The courtyard is very pretty. The only downside was some drunk guests making a bit of a racket around 3:00am.

The hotel was a great convenient place to stay. My only complaint was with the maid service. We never received face cloths when they tidied the room each day, had to ask at the front desk for them. Also, when they went to replenish the coffee supply, the sugars, stir sticks, etc., were just plopped on the tray, not put in the little container.
The courtyard was quite nice however, being right next to a McDonald's Drive-Thru kept it very noisy all through the night. I was extremely disappointed with the washroom, it was so very small and the shower was old and dingy, there was alot of hair on the floor and not very clean at all! From the reviews I expected it to be decent but was actually very satisfied with the hotel. It was very close to bus stops and the rooms were clean with very large tvs and cable. Overall would recommend only downside is being able to hear people walk past your door but for the price who cares

Our stay was great -- we always stay at this particular location because it is on a main road (easy to navigate), it is a 5-10 minute walk from the 29th Ave skytrain station and a 5 minute drive to Metrotown. "Inexpensive hotel near airport and mall"
Only about 25-30 minute drive to the airport, and just down the street from the Metropolis mall. This is a basic hotel - inexpensive, but comfortable. The staff was great - the guy behind the counter lent me a bathroom scale so I could weigh my luggage.

For the price we paid it was a good hotel. Newly renovated, fridge, clean. The room was small, and peeking in other rooms while walking by, that seemed like a common theme. One thing was that the hotel is set up with a courtyard, and the hallway is uneven tile, therefore the entire morning you hear the housekeeping cart rattling around the hotel. The […] walls also seem to be fairly thin as you hear all the vacuuming/dogs barking/people walking through the parking lot. It wasn't too far to walk to the skytrain, ten minutes in a nice residential area. Overall, if you are out during the day, its a great hotel. Mehr

I can say the hotel was okay, but I will not stay there again. Specially with children. It was really loud at night. We could hear the conversations people were having outside their rooms almost as if they were inside our room. The rooms are extremely small and they could use some serious cosmetic repairs. On the second date we decided to have breakfast […] somewhere else even though it was included as the breakfast lounge was extremely small. Tables were practically touching with no space to walk around and they were not replenishing supplies fast enough. My daughter ended up having to eat dry cereal as the milk was gone and no one came to put more until way later. It is close to downtown, but the neighborhood was not nice at all. "A Days Inn with ambience!!!"
I liked the design of the hotel with the interior courtyard with the anticipation of rhododendrons blooming in a few months. It felt safe to walk around the garden and enjoy the greenery. My room was very highend and quiet.

I booked this room because of the free parking, free full breakfast, nice looking pictures of room and location to downtown. The hotel itself is clean and has great gardening going on. 24 hr McDs next door is convientant. The room we got was near a storage closet and an exit so it was quite loud. The heater in the room worked great. TV was large and […] clear. The bed was too hard. I kept waking up with a backache. The back of the desk chair was comfortable except the pump to go up didnt work so it was hard to sit down and work on the desk. The wifi kept going in and out which was frustrating. The shower water temp was awful. In a matter of seconds the water would either be buring hot or ice cold. The free full breakfast was very sad looking so I never ate it. They did give me and my guest a $4 off voucher for the Tipper across the street. It was actually really good food and pleasant cook. If you stay at this hotel, definatly go to the Tipper for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Overall, I wouldnt stay here. Mehr

"Suprisingly beautiful courtyard - Water hot & cold"
Wonderful place. Breakfast truly got us started and had real orange juice, prunes and cream cheese and apples. Staff was also top notch. Our only complaint was the shower would suddenly go hot or cold for no reason. Almost impossible to bath our two-year-old daughter.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. It's a ten min walk to the nearest skytrain. But there are two useful buses on the corner that can get you downtown easily. Very good value for your money.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times now, and would happily stay there again. Comfortable beds, pleasant rooms, nice staff, good breakfast.
