Well wen the low cost route an it bit me....hotel is fine though a bit dingy and old ...service is adequate and it bit me because there was no internet. I thought I had the wrong password and on doing a root cause I my computer i found the problem was the router....On calling front desk they said 'oh yeah we've been ahving problems with that'. With […] a 7AM meeting and it now being 1:30Am I switched hotels....Therefore not a place for hard core business travellers but for casual travellers seeking to save a buck then it should be just fine. They did reimburse me on leaving the hotel. Mehr

I had a nice stay there. Breakfast was decent little chilly in there in am carpets could use a good cleaning or changed

We booked a non-smoking room thru Hotels.com but at the time of check in they gave us a smoking room and asking to pay $20 to upgrade to a non-smoking room. After some words of exchnage, they gave us a non-smoking room unwillingly.

This place has been quite a pain during my recent trip. For one, it is located on the busy part of Route 22 where you have to wait for a few mins before getting a chance to merge, even at odd hours. There is no other road to enter this place. There is plenty of parking in the open space next door, between tens of trucks parked there. Those trucks even […] park right on the exit from the place. The room looks quite crowded and yet there is no closet space as such. The place does not like to keep an iron unless you go to the front desk to ask for one. They do keep an ironing board, which may have other uses that elude me. The curtains and bedsheets have brown stains like cigarette burns, in a non-smoking room. Their wireless internet is pathetic and does not work in most places. On some days (when I needed to work on something), the wireless would not even work in the lobby. Do not expect any kind of help from the front desk - they are simply apathetic and one of them has been downright rude. I am not sure if he was pretending not to understand me or just wanted me to leave him and whatever was keeping him super busy around midnight but he has the "kindness" to tell me that it was not their problem and they had nothing else. Well, take that amenity off the list then... If you ever decide to use their side doors, it would be a joyous experience to figure out how this door really opens. You swipe quick or slow - it refuses to work at anything but the optimum velocity. Again, it is no use telling the front desk about that. They have already noted the complaints and duly ignored them. If cost is the only thing that brings up this hotel, try the Days Inn at Hillsborough where I stayed on another trip and usually at a comparable price. Mehr

Internet did not seem to reach the back of the building the main reason for the 4 stars. One other issue, the back entry door frequently did not lock.

For a guy on business, The place was clean and quiet. It was near some decent dining. Pretty convienient location. The staff was nice. My only knock: The bagels tasted like cardboard and the danishes were old or just poor quality to start.

This motel provides reasonable value for the rate they charge. The facility is behind on maintenance however, especially with their keycard system. The exterior card readers are poor and you should be ready to stand out in the cold. Even the room card readers are tempermantal.

This hotel provides all the basics at a great price. Good to excellent in all aspects-no complaints here.

The Hotel was not what they pumped it up to be, from my antiquated room, to the lousy Contintal Breakfast! It served its purpose as for what I was there for, but I would not recommend to anyone!

Hotel was pretty clean and well kept. Strong fragrance in the halls - sort of a cleaning product smell. Carpets were in need of a good cleaning though as the dye from the carpet was getting on our socks! Was sort of a pain that the elevator was in the front of the hotel so if your room was in the back, you had to use the stairs. I stay at thos hotel on a regular basis every week. It's in a great location. The staff are friendly. They got a nicebar, laundry facilities, good house keeping, wifi facility and serve breakfast all for a good price.

We reserved a room on Thanksgiving evening since we were in town for a visit with friends and family. The check in process was easy, the lobby was clean and the rooms were great. Perfect for what we needed and much nicer than the one in Hillsborough, NJ. Worth driving a little farther.

Stayed here many times and they are consistently good in all areas. Room is nice and clean and staff is always cleaning and available to assist. Nice play to stay and plenty of parking.

Overall, this hotel was very satisfactory for this class. The free Continental breakfast was enough for this class, but I was slightly sorry that I was not able to make Hot Cake. One thing that was disappointing, many vending machines were running out of a product and did not accept money.

Overall, our stay was superb however, our room was too far away from the front desk and breakfast area. This situation was very inconvienent. I love to walk but in this case it was a bit much. Unsatified with Housekeeping staff rushing us out of our room (it wasn't even 12noon yet!). She did knock before opening our door though. Maybe we should of left […] the DND sign on our door. Mehr

The room was clean and quite. The bed was too soft for a goods nights rest. Everything else was fine. Good location for where I had to go in NJ

This is a good choice for a traveler on a budget. The property began over 40 years ago as a Holiday Inn. It has been remodeled, and is reasonably clean. The major objection is the location. On the south side of the east-bound lane of US Route 22, it is worth your life to get to, in or out of the parking lot. Speeds on Route 22 exceed 50 mph, so crossing […] lanes, or making U-turns are life-threatening. Oh yea, no mints on the pillow! A saving grace is the Bridgewater Diner in the center lane, across from the hotel. Our choice for one of the best Jersey Diners! Mehr

This hotel provided an excellent place to stay overnight after driving in from Maine. Centrally located, it was close to the train station in Somerville for my friend to run in to NYC and was a great place for me to start on my day of apartment shopping.

This is a very good hotel. People in there are very nice. Breakfasts are served very well. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms were pretty clean. Hotel staff was very cooperative. There's plenty of parking space. Hot water was in abundance. All the facilities in the room were in a good, working condition. The only negative thing about the hotel is that the coffee machine was inside the restroom...not a good place to […] keep such stufff. Breakfast was average. Overall its a good place to stay. Mehr

Found something dried on the inside of the bedspread (drool or food?) when I pulled the covers back so immediately pulled the whole thing off the bed. Gross! Otherwise, place seemed clean, nice room, hotel bedspreads I guess are notorious for not being changed each time but had fresh one at the next hotel on our trip. it was an economic room, otherwise […] adequate. room was clean, Bathroom clean as well. I got a smoking room and it smelled cleaner than most ive been in. beds were a bit older starting to bow. The highway is a bit confusing and having to make a U turn Into the fast lane was a bit challenging. Over all for the 3 nights we stayed it was worth the money i would stay again.

Nothing fancy, but for a very reasonable rate I got a good night's sleep, free wifi in the room, free parking, and a no-frills breakfast. Come here if you're frugal. Don't come here for your honeymoon.

This hotel was very worn and run down. Moldy smell in the room and hallways. Very worn furniture. One mattress was very hard, the other very soft. Staff was not efficient but not welcoming. Glad we only stayed one night

while the hotel it self is a bit dated the room was quite confortable, clean, no smell of smoking in room. The staircase from the first floor was a different story reeked of stale smoke. the pool was nice & open til 9pm or 10pm very nice for the price of the room.

The positive thing about this hotel/motel is that it was cheap and breakfast was included. Breakfast was ok, but simple. The good thing abut the rooms is that there were no bedbugs. Otherwise it was very dirty - I needed to clean the walls both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. If I could, I would also clean the carpets. We stayed there for two nights, […] and my daughter wanted to leave as soon as possible. Another good thing was the swimming pool. It was very small, but the kids liked to swim there. Cleanliness was ok. I would not recommend the hotel, but if you are looking for a cheap place and do not care about the cleanliness, it is probably ok. Mehr

As a frequent hotel patron, I look for a good deal, clean and comfortable rooms and any extras to get the most bang for my buck,-esp these days. This property is a great value in all categories. The cleaning person did not complete the job, the person did not replenish coff and it was an inconvenience. There was very loud music late in the evening.

This hotel was great. It was clean, neat, friendly staff, pool was nice for a late night dip. the gym was convient. Breakfast was good and eating room was big. overall great stay.

This motel has a sever case of bed bugs. Not only me but several other guests were at the service desk complaining if this at the same time. They gave my sons room to someone else and it took us nearly an hour to get them to give him a room. His room was prepaid and should have been there when he got there. I have stayed here on 5 occasions and always find it clean, quiet and friendly. But keep an eye on the hard boild eggs at breakfast - the breakfast lady rations them! :-)
