We booked a "Queen/Non-Smoking Room" and were pleased that it was indeed a no-smoking room (not stale and stinky like some who claim to be NS.) It turned out to be two lop-sided double beds. Two people slump to one side of the bed since one side is always used.Desk clerk seemed unconcerned and not even apologetic. Otherwise, staff was okay. Attendant […] for the breakfast was tending to things in her BARE FEET! Also, the website did not mention that their pool and spa were shut down. So do not book this one if you are counting on those. We have a GPS and it was not listed on the menu for Days Inn. It showed hotels 150 miles away and not 5 miles. Just makes it easier to find a hotel. It is a nice clean hotel close to most everything. Much nicer than Americas Value Inn.

For our needs, as a place to sleep and enjoy the out doors it was fine. We did not have sticky floors and our room was very clean. It is what it is, a short stay get the essentials, at a fair price. I gave a 4 for surrounding area because its just off the Hwy, no big deal, it just was not a luxury location,fine for what it is.

Easy check in. Friendly desk manager. Great location, close enough to Gull lake and being North of Brainerd on hwy 371. I liked my room and had a very restful night sleep.

We enjoyed our stay, quiet, very friendly staff. Concerned about their customers and their well being.We were impressed with the cleanliness of the motel.

The rooms were damp and had a damp scent. Iron stains in the sink. But, the service was very friendly and helpful and the pool and spa were wonderful. The price was right but I think the rooms should be fixed up a little.

Decent hotel, but we wanted a non-smoking room but got a smoking one. The place was booked solid, so they couldn't move us. Fortunately, the weather was pleasant and we could keep the window open at all times. They gave us a roll-a-bed for no charge. Had a small fridge and a microwave in the room. I liked the hotel. It met all of our needs. Breakfast could have been better but oh well. The pool was clean and towels were always available. Room was clean and contained a fridge and microwave which was really nice. I was concerned however with the fact that my sister who had never been in the hotel with us was able to go up to the front desk when […] we out and get a key without them checking with us or even questioning or checking who she was. It made me feel a tad unsafe as it seems anyone could get in. Mehr

Very nice room for the price! Loved the big bathtub.

THE AIR CONDITIONER DIDN'T WORK IN THE ROOM. OUT SIDE TEMP WAS 95, WITH VERY HIGH HUMIDITY. A NIGHTS REST WAS IMPOSSIBLE. WE'LL NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Our stay was a short one and the accommodations were favorable for our needs.

I am easy to please, but this place was not ideal. The location is ideal, but that's about where the positives end. The sauna was too hot to even sit in (the screws on the wood were absolutely burning me), the hallway smelled like smoke, the water in the shower smelled terrible, & somehow had people above us walking around loudly (there were only 4 […] cars in the parking lot, weird how they had to be Right above us) Mehr

The hot tub was cold and full of bugs, the beds were very uncomfortable (better to sleep on the floor) and the room was not refilled with towels except the fIrst night. I will not stay at another Days Inn!

Poorest breakfast I have ever had. I don't exspect a real breakfast, but not even some fresh fruit or yogurt. Hard to make oatmeal without a microwave, hot water just doesn't do it.

Very nice and clean. Great location for the "lakes area". Staff was friendly.

At first I was a little disappointed as the bathroom was very small and the room could use a good coat of paint. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm, clean and nice size. Whirlpool & Suana were excellent. Could have stay in there all day with the blizzard outside!

Carpet was so sticky that we had to were shoes at all times and they stick to the floor. When I told the front desk the olny response I got was Oh I'll let them know it should be cleaned. The security bar on the door was broken. But the pool was nice and warm.

The door to our room would not close without being slammed. The carpet in our room was VERY STICKY (like someone spilled a drink or juice or something all over it. Rooms were very small. Bathroom was very small. Pool was good. nice and warm. Hot tub was very warm but not much agitation.
