wir waren in einem Zimmer mit 2 Queensize-Betten und Schlafsofa untergebracht (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) und fanden es geräumig..Ausreichend Platz für Koffer ohne zu stolpern. Die Zimmer waren sauber, es gab genügend Handtücher....gute schallisolierte Fenster. Die Lage für Unternehmungen war echt gut. Und eine super Aussicht aus dem 28. Stockwerk

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück im Hotel möglich. Preis ist in Ordnung. Auch zu empfehlen ist ein Besuch in Wolfgang´s Steakhouse gegenüber. Eine Haltestelle der Downtown Sightseeing Tour ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt (Waldorf Astoria Hotel).

Das Hotel liegt zentral, aber eher zu den kulturellen Sehenswürdigkeiten als zum Nachtleben. Mehrere Möglichkeiten zum Essen und kleinere Supermärkte gleich in Hotelnähe. Einmal sollte man das wirklich gute, aber eher teure Frühstück im Hotel probieren. Für uns, eine Familie mit drei Kindern, war das gebuchte Zimmer groß genug. TOP: vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. U-Bahnstation wenige Meter entfernt. Ein Block entfernt ist eine U-Bahnstation mit Schalter für den Kauf von Tickets zu finden. Safe ist sehr praktisch. Die Mitarbeiter sind höflich aber nicht übermäßig hilfsbereit. Auskünfte über NY bekommt dann dort nicht. Gilt für alle Hotels in USA: gebucht haben […] wir für 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder. Bekommen haben wir aber nur 2 Kingsize-Betten. Zustellbetten sind nicht verfügbar. Wir waren mit 4 Personen 2 Erwachsenen und 2 grossen Kindern 16 und 18 unterwegs. Die schlichte Hotellobby sorgte nicht unbedingt für einen guten ersten Eindruck ist aus unserer Sicht aber für den Gast meistens unwichtig. Das Zimmer war gross und wie erwartet war auch noch eine ausklappbare Couch im Zimmer vorhanden die als drittes Bett genutzt werden […] konnte. Der Zimmerservice war zuvorkommend und das Frühstück mit einem Koch der die warmen amerikanischen Frühstücksspeisen frisch zubereitet vorbildlich. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe einer Metrostation und ist für gute Fussgänger auch nahe genug zum Times Square. Mehr

the hotel corresponded to the evaluations I had read before: no bling-bling luxury, clean, helpful , good public. our children felt safe. the hotel is convenient for families (we are 2 adults and 3 teens in 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed); quiet (our room was on 31th floor with nice view on Chrysler building, we liked that!); good choice of delies in immediate […] neighborhood; subway station in front of door; very helpful bell man for catching taxi in front of door. An extended lobby on 12th floor with computers and clean restrooms helped to spend last moments after check out before leaving to airport. Reception extended our check out to 1:30pm. Gutes Hotel mit grossen Zimmer und guten grossen Betten. Lueftungsmoeglichkeit Fenster kann geöffnet werden. Klimaanlage etwas laut. Sonst alle ok. Direkt neben an 24 h Shop und mehere Frühstücksshops. Walldorf etc gut zu Fuss zu erreichen

absolut super Preis-Leistungverhältniss. Waren über Neujahr da und es war wirklich spitze. Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gemacht und teilweise sogar noch ein nettes Briefchen beigelegt. Das Hotel befindet sich an einer Toplage und direkt an einer U- Bahn station. Würde ich jederzeit wieder Buchen

Für ein Stadthotel war das Zimmer sehr geräumig und dank dem Schlafsofa gut für 5 Personen geeignet.

Above all we really satisfied and happy we stayed at your hotel..for a family of five we had a big room/space ,clean, very comfortable and our kids have plenty of room to run and play, has a good quality service and friendly staff...really good location and within minutes to time square , 5th ave. were all the shopping area located, rockeffeler,etc...u […] dont have to worry of parking coz they have their own garage (valet parking)...close also to stores and restaurants if u doesnt want to eat breakfast at the hotel....VERY SATISFIED AND WE LOVE STAYING IN COURTYARD BY MARRIOT NEW YORK CITY MANHATTAN MIDTOWN EAST..definetely go back to stay....I will recommend to everybody ..... Great for a family of 5. Nice, clean, spacious rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place. Perfect for family. Only thing to be aware of is no bar or restaurant in the hotel. PJ Clark's, Outback and Pig & Whistle nearby though.

This hotel is in Midtown East-- within walking distance to Rockefeller Plaza, MoMA, 5th Avenue, and Central Park, and very close to a subway station. It was very convenient to almost all the things we wanted to do. In addition, we drove into the city, and the location was actually surprisingly easy to access from FDR Boulevard-- a bonus if you're not […] used to driving in Manhattan but need to drive in to the hotel. The neighborhood was more commercial than residential, but there were lots of nearby restaurants and drug stores for sundries, and it felt generally safe and clean. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we were able to check in early and leave our bags at the bellhop desk after checkout for no additional fee. There was also free wireless/ wi-fi, which was a huge asset in planning our days/ meals. It did take a while to get our vehicle from their off-site valet parking, but that is my only service complaint, and it's a minor one. (There was no problem parking our minivan, by the way-- apparently that's an issue at other places.) The room had 2 queen beds (not full or 'double' beds, which really makes a difference when you're sharing!) and a pull-out couch, and our family of 5 was quite comfortable for 3 days. Everything was clean, fresh, and well-maintained. We did not try the breakfast but preferred to eat locally. There is not much of a lobby, but there is a concierge and a bellhop, and they had cookies and tea in the afternoon. There's no restaurant or bar for meals other than breakfast (but I think one can order room service from a nearby chain steakhouse... we didn't try this). Again, the neighborhood had plentiful options, including everything from takeout to fine dining, within walking distance. Overall, I thought this hotel was an outstanding value for the money. We enjoyed this hotel. The room was extremely large, especially for New York, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was clean, which was evident when I checked very carefully for bed bugs. I didn't see any signs. We had a room on the 17th floor and heard little noise from the street. Even though we had a room that connected with another, we weren't […] disturbed by noise in the other room, which has been a problem in other hotels. All of the employees were extremely friendly and accomodating. We liked the location, close to Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's, and 5th Avenue, with a subway stop in the same block. My only complaint was that we booked a room for 2 adults and 3 kids and got a room with just two queen sized beds. This could be because we arrived a bit late. Nonetheless, the staff immediately sent up extra pillows and blankets and we made do. Overall, it was a very good stay for a fair price, and we will return again. Mehr

Mark on the front desk and Jamal in security are simply fantastic. The hotel enabled us to explore all parts of Manhattan on foot and by subway. We even went to Newark quickly to see a hockey game. The neighbourhood is very safe as is all of Manhattan really. We felt at home in this hotel and were really well looked after.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and the cleanliness. Also it was located 7 blocks from Rockefeller Center and in easy walking distance from all we wanted to do.

Everyone was helpful to me in every way. When I think of this hotel, I'll remember them and if I return to a New York hotel it will be this one!

They were just so nice! We were able to have an early check in and a late check out. The maid service was great, bed comfy, great TV channels. Really it was a super place to stay. I would easily stay again.

The Good things: The hotel is conviently located in NY. The Valet Service is effcient. The Room was nicely clean, and had a decent view of the city. The Not So Good: When checking in, the front desk person was not very helpful. Nevertheless, at the time of checking out another front desk person was very diligent and nice. Also there were several supply […] boxes on the hallway, which didn't look good at all. Mehr

We stayed here with our 3 girls and it was wonderful. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. The Rockefeller Center was in walking distance and this was magical during Christmas season. We used the subways to get around and they were very close to the hotel. This location was far better […] than Times Square but we were able to get to Times Square easily. The area around the hotel was very nice we would definitely return to this hotel. Mehr

A very nice, clean and convenient hotel in the middle of Manhattan.

Room was very large for Manhatten. Very Very clean! Friendly staff. Short cab ride to all the attractions.

We absolutely loved this hotel because the mattresses were not too soft and evely firm to the edges. The lines were soft, too! At night, the fan made the most pleasant humming sound all night long - the perfect white noise for my family. The room slept 5 comfortably since the couch pulled out for my teenage son (mu husband and I split the younger ones […] into the queens). Only 1 problem, no room service but seriously there are so many little places to eat within walking distance. Hotel is across from lipstick building. :) Mehr

We spent two nights pre cruise here. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was large and clean with a comfy bed.The free internet was very useful. We didnt have breakfast but there was free tea and coffee every morning. the location was good, subway was seconds away. Lots of tourist attractions within easy reach. Arrived before check-in and had rooms ready for us. Rooms were a good size for metropolitan hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Waiting for the elevators was not an issue. Location is not in midtown, but close enough to Central Park and Rockefeller Center for a person that doesn't mind a little walk. Two blocks from a stop at the Metro with unlimited […] excess to Manhattan. Had hotel breakfast there one morning. Nice choices including made to order fare. Used exercise room and it was an adequate facility. Restaurant choices in the area- Hillstone was the best.! Mehr

What you would expect from a Marriott - nothing more more and nothing less. Pretty good location, a bit of a walk to Times Square but not too bad.

I loved this place. The staff were very friendly and cared about their guest. The cafe on the 12th floor perfect ! The room was clean and kept clean. The only thing negative is the sheets are a little small for the beds.

Hotel location excellent. Very close to the fifth field. Large family room and very spacious. If I get to New York will take this hotel again.

Good location, good hotel, good value. Subway was right outside our hotel and close to park, shopping and amenities. Minor issue with the room when we checked in but was quickly resolved without any hassles. Overall a good stay.

Tough to find a place in NYC with room for 2 adults, 2 older kids and a youngster but this one fit nicely. Friendly staff, clean, 1/2 block from subway line 6 station. No restaurant etc. but works great for us as a place to stay and launch from. Ess-a-bagel down the street on 3rd is a classic bagel place, by the way.
