Courtyard by Marriott Herndon Reston - Herndon

Das Hotel war für uns Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung von Washington. Wir waren mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden.

Das Courtyard by Marriott ist ein sehr neues Hotel und liegt einen 20 Minütigen Fußmarsch von der nächsten Bushaltestelle weg aber auch diese Strecke ist gut zu schaffen sogar abends, hier brauch man keine Angst zu haben. Von dieser Bushaltestelle aus fährt ,bis 1 uhr nachts, alle 30 Minuten ein Bus in Richtung Westfall Church wo eine Metro nach Washington […] D.C. fährt (Tagesticket kostet 9 $). Kontinentales Frühstück gibt es hier leider keines, dafür aber einen Swimming- und Whirl-Pool, 4 PC`s um kostenlos im Internet zu surfen, einen Waschraum und einen Shuttle-Service der einen Aufsammelt. Das Personnal ist sehr freundlich und helfen einem bei jeder Frage weiter. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich. Wer jedoch noch dringend etwas braucht, für den gibt es an der Bushaltestelle einen Supermarkt und diverse Fastfoodketten und Restaurants. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel und der Umgebung und kann diese Hotelkette nur weiterempfehlen. Mehr

Eveyone was very helpful and kind. It made our stay very comfortable. The room was very clean especially the bathroom. I was really surprised.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby and dining area are very modern and sleek looking. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is in a very nice area, and about a 15 minute drive from the nearest Metro (Vienna - the furthest stop on the Orange Line). We ate breakfast at the cafe […] in the lobby a few times and it was good as well. The cleaning staff was very friendly as well in my limited interaction with them. Overall, I'm very happy with everything and would definitely stay here again. Mehr

staff was pleasant. the only inconvenience was the very slow internet in the business center and the computer bumping me off if I tried to print more than 2 pages.

We loved the room and the landscaping. The added attraction of a courtyard, the balcony with a table and chairs and the ability to fully open the window was no small thing. It was clean and the room spacious. I only travel to this area occasionally but it's my choice to stay at this location on my next trip.

I'm not sure if the bad smell comes from the neighborhood or comes from the hotel, but something wasn't smelling pretty good on my room... Apart of that service was really good.

Not a bad place to stay, room was nice somewhat close to shopping areas.

It was a nice place for my family to stay while we visited relatives in Herndon. The new lobby was gorgeous and the facility was clean/updated. Our only complaint is the party that broke out in the room next to us at 3am and woke us all up. Would stay here again. Great price.

This hotel works for our needs . We will use it again.

I was in Washington for the weekend and stayed here. The hotel was nice but they need to somehow get the bed in front of the TV, not on the side of it.

Nice to find a hotel which is close enough to major airport without the noise. Problem is not being able to take advantage of their breakfast because did not open until 7 a.m. and we had to leave by 6:30 a.m. Shuttle readily available, until 11pm then have to call. Non issue for us.

A cozy place to relax and feel the comfort of being close to business center, commercial shops and attractions. The location is perfect for someone who's looking for a quiet and safe environment.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Would stay again when in the area.

The location is very convenient for people planning to fly from IAD

We enjoyed the stay and would return to the same Courtyard.

This was a decent hotel in a corporate office park, price was great, pretty far away from DC so you'll need a car. Reston Town Center is only a couple miles with a lot of restaurants and shopping. Overall, a good value

The only complaint I have is that the booking service indicated there was a complementary breakfast. There was NOT! Rooms were as close to perfect as I've seen; pool and spa were clean and well-maintained; grounds were nicely manicured; staff was accomodating!

No fast food within walking distance. Managers took us out to a mile away fast food.

The lobby was beautiful! I wish the rooms had been updated to match.

The updated lobby was very nice. the staff was helpful. The hotel was quite. I was suspised to hear a large group was there for a wedding. inside the room I did not heat them.

Very clean and quiet facility. WiFi works well in rooms great decor and very comfortable. An excellent value for the price.

A retreat in a room after a busy day. The hotel was well maintained and the ease of access was excellent. When I return in April, I will be staying again, without a doubt.

Very friendly staff, the rooms are big and clean. Close to shopping and dining. Free parking. Unfortunately only breakfast a la carte, no buffet.

Pros: We are homeschoolers and took our boys to D.C. for a field trip. This hotel was a perfect location for us to catch the metro in Fairfax into D.C. It was a very quite area where the hotel is located; an office/industrial complex. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful and very polite. The dining […] area and lounge area were very clean and restful as well. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were very well maintained. I recommend making reservations that include the breakfast because it was "out of this world" great. Great value for the 5 of us and great tasting. We would have paid more eating. Con: I mentioned to the front desk person on the first day we stayed that the GFI outlet at the sink in our room was not working at all; even after testing and resetting it. It wasn't fixed during our entire stay. My wife had to blow dry her hair and use her curling iron at the outlet between our beds. We're flexible so no real big issue. Next time I will take a GFI outlet with me just in case and change it myself. :) I HIGHLY recomend this hotel and will return again someday. Mehr

From the moment of our arrival, we had a very pleasant stay. The manager, who was in the lobby at the time of our arrival, was personally helpful in ensuring the accessibiity of our room ( I am in a wheelchair), offering to switch us immediately to a room with a walk-in shower, without my having to ask. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed […] directions. Smiles were abundant. The manager was present in the lobby at least once or twice during our short 2-night stay. The room was the largest of the 10 we stayed in during our road trip. It had a different and more generous layout than most rooms; it allowed me room to roll around. Although we didn't use the kitchen table for meals, it was very handy for the laptop! Mehr

Very nice staff. Hotel was clean. Food was very good. Convenient location.

The management went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. They were welcoming and very helpful. Any time I need to fly out of Dulles this will be my motel of choice!

This is our second time at this hotel because it's so close to the Reston Surgery. We couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. Highly recommend it.

When I walked into the lobby, I felt very welcomed by the staff. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back and stay again for a quick getaway. Its in a business area, so it's pretty quiet in the area.
