Das Hotel ist in New Carrollton (Maryland ). Die Umgebung besteht aus Supermärkten und Schnellrestaurants.Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Shuttelservice zur Metro .Die Hinfahrt nach Fahrplan ,die Rückfahrt nach ansage.Das Frühstück ist wie überall in Amerika nicht sehr reichhaltig ,aber man wird satt. So das übliche Essen.Kaffee Tee Toast MIlch Cornflex Rührei Butter Marmelade .Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr geräumig

Hotelzimmer sing großzügig mit eingebauter Kitchenette - alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt - das Frühstückbüffet (complimentray) ist reichhaltig und sehr gut - die Hotelpersonal ist hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend - das Hotelshuttle kann für Transfers zu nahegelegenen Zielen kostenlos genutzt werden - nächstgelegene Metro-Station: Vienna (orange) kann mit Taxi erreicht werden - wenn mit Auto unterwegs, ist Lage / Pries-Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels sehr gut.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Jeffersson Highway, sehr einfach zu finden, wenn man mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist. Der Service am CheckIn/Checkout ist nicht gerade umwerfend oder freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren genervt und recht ungeduldig. Das Doppel-Zimmer war ein Städte-Trip-Traum: groß, sehr sauber, das Sleep-Number-Bett (man kann den Härtegrad der Matratze individuell einstellen) in Kingsize war sehr bequem - gute Schlaf garantiert! in ca. 3 min ist man an der Metro-Station "Crystal City" (unter dem Marriott Hotel). Die Station hat eine Einkaufspassage. Das Ticketsystem der Metro ist leider etwas kompliziert - am besten vorher mal online reinschauen! Die Fahrt in die City zum weißen Haus und dem Memorial Park dauert ca. 20 min. Für einen Städtetrip in die City ist das Hotel absolut empfehlenswert!
Lage
Courtyard by Marriott Washington DC Embassy Row liegt mitten in Washington. dieses Hotel ist auf Familien mit Kindern bestens eingestellt. My family and I just got back from a wonderful weekend stay. Our room was ready early as requested and very clean. The indoor pool was a little small but very warm. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They hailed us taxicabs and gave great metro directions. The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. "Easy walk to Metro line, Dupont Circle, museums"
The coffee machine in the lobby was nice, but I couldn't get the coffee as strong as I like, and this Courtyard doesn't have a free breakfast. Overall, for the price and location, it's hard to complain.

"Location location location"
Not far from the mall. Walking distance to bars and restaurants in DuPont Circle. Short cab ride to Adams Morgan. Metro close by. Good for couples, friends, probably too much going on for families with young kids.

"Courtyard Marriott on Rhode Island Avenue in DC"
It was a beautiful hotel, very clean and the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Biggest drawback is that they don't advertise that their valet parking is not free, and it was really expensive. If they're going to charge for valet parking, they need to let their customers know.

Room very large for the area, and quite comfortable. Amenities are everything looked for when traveling on business. Desk clerks were very friendly and helpful in finding appropriate dining establishments.

Hotel is in a safe part of DC and is about a 10 minute walk to the Farragut North Metro stop - it's a really easy walk. The staff was courteous, room was clean, and the 24-hour tea/coffee station is a bonus! The only negative comment I could think of is that the comforter was quite thin. Overall, a nice hotel which I will try to stay at again.

The sink had a mildewy smell that was very overpowering every time I used it. It was on a busy circle in an area without a lot of restaurants nearby. I was overcharged at the hotel restaurant. The website specified that the rooms had jetted tubs, but the desk clerk told me they had no jetted tubs. We had reserved a "Deluxe King Sized Bed Room". When […] we got there, they told us they had only a king sized bed handicapped room with a low shower, or a room with 2 queens. It did not feel like a three star hotel. Very good hotel, friendly and very helpful staff. The hotel is a couple of blocks down from dupont circle where there is a metro stop and is also only 4 blocks from the white house and georgetown only a 20 minute walk. The surrouding area felt safe at night. Front desk staff very helpful when looking for tours or shops. Would reccomend this hotel on […] basis of location, staff and cleanliness. I thought the price was pretty good for the location, but I didn't expect everything to be in shipshape like it turned out to be. The self-serve cappucino machine was the icing on the cake.

"Great stay"
I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at this hotel! The staff was extremely helpful over the phone in my conversations leading up to my stay there, as well as while I stayed in the hotel. Several times they went out of their way to look out for the safety of our group (young women celebrating a bachelorette party!) and called cabs for us […] while we waited inside the lobby. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to vacation in DC or for "staycations" like mine! Mehr

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend while in DC for a wedding. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown, and its proximity to a metro made it easy to get around. The staff were friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, and the coffee maker in the lobby is a definite bonus. Cons: since there were three of us and no double rooms were available, […] we had to get a cot, which was VERY uncomfortable. I woke up with coil marks in my back. "Not for young kids"
The hotel itself is fine but it is not for young kids. The resturant is not for young kids. We brought two kids under the age of 5, it was not accomidating. The last night, one of our kids through up on the bed. We called for cleaning. We stayed awake for over one hour waiting. They never showed up. Courtyard provided a very clean and attractive room at Scott Circle just blocks from the White House and Dupont Circle. Adequate street parking on a holiday weekend meant I didn't have to pay to park my car. Several nice restaurants were within walking distance. A metro stop was a few blocks away. The coffee machine in the lobby allowed numerous choices. […] The hotel restaurant had good reviews and was classified as upscale. "Good Location Horrible Bed for People w/ bad backs"
We were in Virginia for a conference and extended our stay by getting a room in Dupont to visit friends. I am disappointed with the Courtyard Marriott !! all of the Courtyards that I have stayed in the past have had hot breakfasts and great beds to sleep on. This one had neither...we both left with horrible back aches from the cheap beds that they had. […] Definately would not stay there and possible re think the Courtyard all together. Mehr
"Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff but....."
I really liked the look of the hotel and the location. It was convenient to the places I wanted to see. My main problems were the temperature of the room. It was always cold and I could not make it any warmer. Worse was the internet. It would go in and out and was really slow when it was in. It prevented me from doing work since I was there on business. […] I was very frustrated. I went down to tell them once and the internet was working fine in the lobby so I think it was just the location of the room (top floor all the way in the back). But for the price of the hotel, I expect more. The staff that I talked were polite and helpful and offered to get a maintenance guy to check it out, but I knew there wasn't much they could do.
