Holiday Inn Slough Windsor - Slough

Very Nice hotel, only about 3 miles from Windsor Legoland, friendly and helpful staff. At the time of the visit there were some works going on inside, but they never had any effect on the quality of our stay, I only foud out about the renovation in the lift, there was a poster with appologies for any discomfort from renovation works. The room was on […] the fith floor and the view was up to the horizont, we could even see the Queens castle in Windsor. In the room there was a kettle and cups but no fridge. The outside carpark wasn't free, had to pay for the car. In overall kids and me were very satisfied with the hotel. Would stay there again. Mehr

The hotel was clean and convenient for the Slough Conference Centre. Hotel needs a bit of updating which is a project going on at the moent. But was good value for money. Bed was a little uncomfortable but hopefully this will be done as part of the refurb. The thing that made it was the food was surprisingly good and the staff were fantastic and very […] helpful. Very good value stay. Not in the best of areas but proved very easy and reasonable to get into Central London - 25 minute walk to the station and a 20 minute train journey to Paddington. Didn't sample meals, bar or room service.

We used this hotel when going to London. Easy to get to, just off the motorway. A 5 minute taxi ride to the train station from the hotel and a 15 minute train ride so London is very accessible. We arrived earier than the check-in time stated, to park the car but the reception staff were very helpful and allowed us to check-in to a room that was ready. […] The room was very clean and there is a good supply of clean towels. We slept well apart from the very noisy neighbours who decided to have a party in the middle of the night, the walls are paper thin and so you hear everything, this did not continue too long. The help yourself breakfast buffett is expensive but the hotel had a special offer on and with the kids eat free it made it more affordable. The food was good and there was a good selection of hot and cold food available. Mehr

We had a really good deal on a family room and used the hotel as a base for exploring nearby Windsor. Used the hotel for bed and breakfast, so can only comment on that. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful when we asked for items other than what was available on the buffet tables. Lovely welcome on arrival at hotel. […] Not a lot around the area, so I would suggest that unless you want to eat at the hotel, make sure you eat before you get to hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we could secure a good deal. Mehr

We spent the weekend with a day in London and next day at Legoland. The hotel was very easy to get to, just off junction 6 of the M4. The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean with a good supply of towels, toiletries and drink making facilites. Some of the carpets in the hallways were threadbear and were stuck down with tape in places […] We did not use the restaurant so cannot comment on this. The surrounding neighbour is a bit dodgy with a exotic dancer club almost next door. We walked in the morning to the railway station, which took longer than expected and we caught a taxi home - wouldn't want to walk around the neighbour at night. Legoland was very easy to get to and only 10 mins away by car. I will be staying again just before christmas time. Mehr

Great location - just a stone throw from M4 junction 6. Rooms were in excellent condition and staff friendly. Shame about the hot breakfast buffet though, which was stone cold.

We were only staying for over night, so was not very picky on this hotel. When we got there, the building was right next to the junction, very easy to find out. The room is big and comfortble, we are very happy to have such a room with price that we paid. We will stay there agin in the future for sure!

I have stayed here twice; in March & September 3,4 2011 with a group of friends and we were all very satiisfied with the experience. Its in a good position near the M4, for Slough, Heathrow, Windsor, Datchet, Ascot, etc. We found the staff to be great from Reception to waiting staff; both helpful and friendly. We got a good deal both visits. Acr parking […] @ £5 [er night is cheap in this area. Rooms were comforatble, clean & everything worked fine. Full English breakfast was very nice & plentiful. hotel staff were rude and not very accomidating we arrived late with a child and they said wasnt paid 4 and insissted i got money from machine and wen got back lady found booking and payment was dun already. also we booked bed n breakfast but they insissted breakfast wasnt included so we went hungry .any complaint we tried to put 2 them was just brushed […] off Mehr

This hotel is ok. My room was clean and basic but tired and dated. As it was in the middle of the summer, a fridge would have been good. The breakfast selection is a bit limited and also feels a bit dated. All in all, this hotel could do with a refresh. The best part was the friendly, helpful staff.

Greeted by a very bored receptionist who really did not care if we came or went. Only take-aways in the immediate area and a strip club next door. Wake-up call came half an hour early (3.45am). Ordered a taxi which did come at the required time. Won't be coming back!

Simple, but great service! Enough said!

We picked this hotel because it was very close to legoland which was the focus of our visit and because it was well priced. The hotel was not the best I have stayed at but was clean and comfortable and was in my opinion good value for money

good reception on arrival,no waiting about as often happens in hotels.Room on high floor and therefore quiet from outside sounds of traffic from major road. A bit distant from town centre if on foot,but still walkable in 15minutes. Access to nearby windsor good,via rail or bus,staff really helpful with directions

This was our first time staying in this hotel and can not say a bad word about it. 5 minutes down the rd from Legoland and the rooms were really comfortable. The food in the restaurant was really good and the kids even ate free if an adult was having a meal. I will most certainly be using this hotel on our next trip to legoland.

Nice enough hotel, fairly clean and in good order. The locality appears to be a bit rough though so be aware if you decide to go for a walk......which I would not advise!

This hotel is a great location for families visiting legoland. Sadly it is not up to the standards that one would expect from a holiday inn. More like a traveloldge. The hotel feels very dated and in dire need of refurbishment. A good clean wouldn't go amiss either as lift lobby and skirting boards were quite dusty. the room was not great either, quite […] cramped, no fridge and get poorly maintained bathroom. Breakfast was not great. The variety of breadsvwas ok, as was the fruit salads however Eggs tasted very watery, also the smoothies were curdled. We told the waitress that they had gone off she said she would check but ours never git removed from our table and those on the cooler were left for other guests to take. But to give the restaurant staff credit they were working hard as they were obviously very under staffed, so I couldn't blame the individual for forgetting about the problem with smoothie as she was been called to neatly every table with some problem or other. My children live legolabd and as this is the nearest York we may stay again but we wouldn't take breakfasts if meals there, just use it to sleep. Gladly there is a hotel being built at lego land, as soon as that is completed we will opt for there instead. Rating that, if pots of people do the sane this holiday inn may be less busy and staff will be able to deal with a smaller number of customers mire effectively. Mehr

O hotel fica longe de qualquer centro urbano. A variedade alimentar apresentada para o pequeno almoço, não é nada saudável. No entanto, o serviço de bar é óptimo com umas pizzas muito saborosas. Todo o pessoal é muito simpático e atencioso.

het adres church street is niet correct! We hebben bijna 2 uur moeten zoeken waar het hotel juist gelegen was! Niemand kende het! De toiletten spoelden niet goed door! Heel vervelend!

excellent accueil, personnels disponibles, calme, proche des autoroutes. Nous avons passé 3 jours dans la région en famille.

객실은 깨끗하긴 했지만, 그리 넓지는 않고, 냉장고가 없어서 불편했어요.. 아침 식사가 참 맛있었네요..^^

Op zich een redelijk geprijsd hotel, in Slough. Het station is net te ver weg om te lopen, en betekent dus een taxi van een aantal pond one-way. Trein naar London gaat snel, en vrij regelmatig, dus verder een redelijke uitvalsbasis. Ook Windsor en Legoland zijn goed te bereiken met een auto of taxi. Hotel is behoorlijk oud en erg basis. Service is redelijk, […] ontbijt is niet heel bijzonder, maar ook niet slecht. Internet is niet inclusief, dus moet nog veel voor betaald worden. Mehr

Très bonne prestation. Nous étions au 5eme étage dans une chambre familiale. Il y Avait beaucoup d'espace et la literie était très bonne. L'hôtel est calme et a 5 mn de la gare pour aller sur Londres (15mn) Je pense que nous y reviendrons

Chambre correcte, bonne literie, salle de bain correcte, bar accueillant et parking sécurisé. Première expérience Holiday Inn et agréablement surpris, cuisine trop typée british et pas de personnel parlant français.

We enjoyed this stay. Rooms were great. Breakfast even better.
