Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Dez. 2012Das Best Western ist relativ neu, die Zimmer also in gutem Zustand. Fitness und Sauna nur klein. Das Frühstück entspricht dem kanad. Durchschnitt, aber man kann dort noch sehr gut mit Gästen zu einem Kaffee sitzen bleiben! Zu Fuss ist die Innenstadt in 5 - 10 min. zu erreichen, also insgesamt zu empfehlen.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 30. Sep. 2012Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen (dafür kleinen Punktabzug) und typisch amerikanisch aber dennoch vollkommen OK. Es ist natürlich kein Interconti, man bezahlt auch keine Interconti! und wir wollen hier auch nicht auf Interconti Niveau bewerten. Alles funktionierte enwandfrei. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer selber war ausreichend groß für die Übernachtung, aber zu klein, um dort den Tag zu verbringen. Es war eine kleine Küche enthalten mit Herd und Kühlschrank. Alle Geräte fuktionierten und wir hatten keinerlei hygienische Bedenken, wie auch nicht bei dem restlichen Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt ca. 300m vom Ufer entfernt. Wir sind zwar mit dem Auto in knapp 10 min am Parlament gewesen, aber zu Fuß sollte es auch in ca. 30 min machbar sein. Parkplätze sind auf dem Hof vorhanden. Allerdings kann es zu Spitzenzeiten zu Engpässen beim parken kommen. Die Nachbarschaft sieht, glaube ich, schlimmer aus als sie ist. Wir haben uns aber nie unsicher gefühlt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Stadbesichtigungen ist das Hotel sehr gut gelegen. Wir würden es beim nächsten Stadtbesuch auf jeden Fall auch wieder buchen, da das Preis / Leistungverhältnis m.E. für 1-2 Nächte gestimmt hat.

Clean, courteous service, comfortable beds, though only had doubles when had booked for queens (even with 3 p.m. arrival), i.e. they said can't always honour third-party booking requests, and quite full that night. Free breakfast fine, quiet neighbourhood and hotel, few minutes drive to most things in Kanata and west Ottawa. Price in keeping with area […] though seems high in Ottawa for what is offered. "Kanata Comfort Inn Smoking Rooms Are never clean"
Hi! Well, I was in a rush to get to the concert "The Who" that my sister and I just put down my knapsack, but as soon as I walked in the door this 'god-awful' smell came over us. Yes, I know it was a smoking room, but at dinner my sis and I realized that it could not be just nicotine.When I got back from the show I had to hit my inhaler maytimes,I live […] in a bach.apt and it doesnt smell like that! I called the front desk and they told me that it was because it was a smoking room.My sister doesnt smoke and she knows the difference, I called the fr.desk and they offer a different room,nonsmoking but I wanted to relax have a beer and a cig.Fr,desk brought down some Bounce sheets and put them in the heater which helped a bit. I fully intend on writing headoffice to get and airquality control check on rm108 at the Kanata Comfort Inn. If anything I want my $ back. The girl working the front desk was very friendly and professional. The hotel is perfect for the business traveller looking for a room. Its nothing fancy but it does the trick. "Economical stay, and nice start to the day."
This is a fine place to stay - unless you want first class with pool, spa, restaurants, bar, elevators, valet parking, and unlimited shopping next door. It was clean, and its facilities were well kept. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was nice- hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, selection of cereals and juices, selection of breads, bagels, muffins, […] and also scones. There was a selection of milks, and cream, as well as butter, and margarine. Coffee and tea were plentiful, as well as a pitcher of water. Hand sanitizer and a sink to wash before or after eating is there too. There are plenty of tables and chairs, a TV, and newspapers. Our attendant was helpful and attentive, and kept the tables clean, chairs organized, and replenished everything as needed. Our room on the second floor, had a queen bed, bedside tables, mirrors, luggage rack, iron and ironing rack, nightlight, armchair and footstool, desk with lamp and free internet, telephone with free local calls. There is a restaurant next door, and a grocery store a very short walk away in a mall which has lost its retail, and become service oriented, although there is a sandwich/ice cream convenience counter inside. This place is in a residential neighbourhood, with easy access to highway 417. While aeroplan miles are available, they are not when booked through 3rd party providers, such as Expedia. I thought my stay was good for the most part.. the wireless internet service was ok and at times not very good. there was a time when the service reported itself as problematic and resolved itself in a few hours. The man who checked us in was great and helpful. The room need work, like the wallpaper in the bathroom was discoloured and peeling off and the sliding doors were scarey because they were hard to open and I was unsure if they would fall out.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

My daughter and I went to Ottawa to see a NHL hockey game. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. If you are going to an event at Scotia Bank- have the frint desk call a taxi for you- it is cheap and easy way to get to and from the event without having to worry about parking.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Quiet even though its near the Queensway... Not much traffic noise. We stayed here during our Holiday Shopping trip so we shopped until we dropped late into the night... Great resting place, peaceful and quiet but the next morning, the front desk did not stop bothering us to let us know that check out is at noon! We would've appreciated if they would […] at least give us time to gather our belongings, load up our truck and check out within the hour. Room was equipped with everything - nice new flat screen TV, Iron and Ironing Board, coffee maker with all the necessitities, bathroom was spotless and immaculant. Provision of shampoo and body cream etc. The pillows were outstanding, I should have purchased some. Love the fact that the hotel is pet friendly. […] Extra pillows and a blanket provided. "So outta the way"
This place is very out of the way. There are no services anywhere close by, and they didn't even have a food vending machine, just pop. This is one of those places that hockey teams, school groups, etc tend to stay at and there were children thundering up and down the halls yelling until midnight when I called and complained. The bed sloped back towards […] the wall, making your head lower than your feet. overall, not a great hotel. I've done super cheap before and gotten far better than this moderately priced place. We regret to read that you were unable to get a good night’s sleep during your recent stay with us.
