Wir waren nur 1 Nacht dort - die Zimmer sind ordentlich und sauber - Wände schienen frisch gestrichen. Balkonmöbel vorhanden. Frühstück mit Rührei und sausages, O-Saft, Cereals, Äpfeln und Toast/Bagels, Marmeladen und Frischkäse - konnte man auch auf einer kleinen Terrasse, der Frühstücksraum ist insgesamt eher klein - teilweise musste man auf Nachschub warten - alles vorgefertigte Sachen, aber durchaus genießbar. Die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zur Straße hin haben keinen Meerblick, da man dort nicht über die Dünen sehen kann. Pool war sauber - Restaurants sind in der Nähe, es wurden auch Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Die Möbel sind nicht die Neuesten, aber dasd Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Das Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront ist in unmittelbarer Nähe aller im Ort befindlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten gelegen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und im spanischen Stil eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Der vorhandene Pool ist sehr klein, es gibt auch einen kleinen Whirlpool.

Wir waren schon zum 2.ten mal in diesem Hotel. Vor 2 Jahren das letzte mal. Diesmal waren es 5 Nächte. Die Lage ist ideal. In 5min. ist man am Strand von Neptune Beach, in 10min am JAX-Beach. Hier ist immer etwa los. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aller Art sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und steht immer mit Tips zur Verfügung. Das Hotel hat weiterhin einen schönen Pool hinter dem Haus.

Wir haben uns im Juni 2010 für dieses Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge nach St. Augustine, Jacksonville Beaches, Downtown Jacksonville und zum Shoppen entschieden. Es handelte sich dabei um keine überlaufene Bettenburg und war trotz der direkten Lage zur Highwayausfahrt ruhig gelegen. Das kont. Frühstück fiel nicht so 'trocken' aus wie man es aus anderen Hotels kennt, sondern wurde um Rührei bzw. fertige Omletts ergänzt. Der Pool hat einen sauberen und ordentlichen Eindruck hinterlassen. Das Parkplatzangebot war ausreichend und das kostenlose WLAN stand schnell und unterbrechungsfrei im ganzen Hotel zur Verfügung. Gemessen an dem aktuellen Preis war das HI-Express ein Schnäppchen für das wir uns wieder entscheiden würden.

Das Hotel ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Frühstück war ausreichend. Leider liegt das Hotel sehr weit von der Altstadt entfernt. Auto ist Pfilcht.
"Good place to stay but a couple of problems"
There appear to be some housekeeping issues. Our first room stank of urine with some undefined wet spot on the couch. Fridge was dripping wet as well. They changed our room immed. Room comfortable enuf but cld not get an Internet connection even after talking to the help desk. Iron barely got warm. Housekeeping did not put away ironing board and iron […] and bathroom wasn't cleaned that well. On the up side, breakfast was great and breakfast staff was fantastic! Conveniently located between the historic district and the Golf hall of Fame. Easy access to the interstate, but felt a little removed. Room was nice. Contential Breakfast was very good. Fortunately we were there during a wedding reception so the bar area was open, so there was some where to hang out in the evening. However they only accepted cash. The gentleman at the desk couldn't be more helpful, polite and accommodating but the hotel, although appears nice and clean has problems. Our first 2 rooms had mold by the air conditioners and windows, and the third one we tried had a broken lock. We must have been on a roll but that is concerning. Again, the front desk gentleman was eager to move us […] and accommodate us, even helping us get into the room. Thank goodness for him. He is an asset to the hotel Mehr

"Extremely accommodating"
It was last minute I booked online, got lost and called the hotel, they guided me in quick. Due to holidays, they were packed, but I was upgraded to a suite that was spacious and clean. The elevators are slow, but everything else was an excellent expierience.

Except for the location not so close to St. Augustine attractions, everything is great for my family. At the last night of our 13 day trip, we took a peaceful rest at this hotel. We loved it.

"Needs updating!"
While our room was clean and pretty quiet it was in need of an update. The air conditioning unit alternated between blowing snowballs at us and then doing nothing....so one minute you were freezing...the next minute you were sweating! The shower was also frustrating. Had to wait for the hot water and the water pressure kept changing. Our room also had […] a musty Febreeze sprayed odor. We left a day early. If the hotel was updated, we might consider going back. "CS - Great choice!"
A really great place for the price! Amazingly good customer service. The only issue is that the TV sits on a table that is shorter than it should be, but seriously, not a big deal. Its a great big room, and the breakfast is BEYOND AMAZING! And free! :)

The hotel was in a good location off 95- a great place to stop if you're on a long road trip. Our room however, was kind of gross. It smelled like cheap air freshener and the comforter felt like it had a greasy film over the top- a sign that it should have been replaced long ago. Very convenient to St Augustine attractions yet not amidst the hustle & bustle of the city. 100% smoke free environment was wonderful as I suffer from extreme allergies. Our only complaint is that if one plans to eat breakfast - Get there EARLY!!! Breakfast was great with a wide selection on our first day but we missed breakfast completely our second […] day because it closed at 9! How absurd! Most people on vacation do enjoy sleeping in! Mehr

We only stayed one night but were very pleased with the hot breakfast the morning after and the overall relaxed and easy going atmosphere of the hotel at an affordable price. "Loved out stay!"
Great hotel is stay. We were in town visiting friends who lived close by the hotel and it was so convenient for us to meet and then jump on 95 to go sight seeing, out to eat, or to their house. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of this hotel. The pool and outdoor areas were great and it was not crowded or noisy. Would definitely stay here again.

great place, very clean. staff was friendly. even gave us bar coupons. the building is a little old but kept up very well. great location for golfers. would definatly stay again.
"not worth the money"
don't expect much from the continental breakfast. what there was wasn't very good. The second morning, there was no juice, eggs or sausage, no waffle iron set up. only danishes and coffee. they claimed no water, but there was coffee? room not nice enough for the money. They do have an indoor pool though. Our room keys did not work after coming back […] up to our room after breakfast the second day, and we were told they thought we had checked out already. We were in town for a wedding and were booked to stay at the Comfort Suites. For the most, our stay was great, especially the breakfast bar, fresh eggs, ham, and waffles, what more could you ask for...lol The condition of the rooms were good, except for the couch which had various stains on them and maybe upgrade the televisions, they were a little […] dated. "Hotel was great, easy to get to all attractions"
This Hotel is about 7-10 minutes car ride from Old St. Augustine. The rooms were very clean, the satff was very nice and the continental breakfast was good. Although this hotel is not in Old St. Agusutine, it's location was perfect, relaxing and quite sourroundings, US 1 is right around the corner and getting to town was a breeze. The room was clean […] and the overall maintenance was very good, with the exception of the carptes and some of the upolstered furniture that to our liking should be cleaned more often, or perhaps be replaced (that is the only reason why we give this hotel one4) We had a microwave and minifridge were available (and very clean). Since you walk all day long I would suggest to get the tickets to the Troley or Train (we did troley tickets and they were good for 3 days) The car can be parked at the troley station for free and you do not need it the rest of the day! Dinner: there was a great Iris Pub: Meehan's, they have an award price Key Lime pie. Mehr
"Air Conditioning Needs Work"
The hotel was nice enough, and just in the right location for what I needed to do. And it was great to have an exercise room available. My only real problem was the air conditioning. In the morning my room was about 90% relative humidity. Ridiculous!

Arrivés de nuit avec l'impression d'être perdus au milieu de nul part. Chambre avec coin salon, frgo et micro-onde. Petit déjeuner correct. Pas de restaurant à proximité (compter 5 à 6 miles). Piscine extérieure, piscine intérieure chauffée et jaccuzi chaud à l'extérieur.
