Comfort Suites Airport - Tempe

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was responsive and curteous. There were no detracting features with respect to our stay here.

Unlike other comfort inn suites, there are several problems with this one...firstly, this is not a suite hotel.....just one room with a refrigerator and a microwave, suites have two rooms and two televisions secondly...only one tv. that you cant watch properly sitting on the sofa....thirdly, entrance is not visible....you can easily pass this hotel..and […] get on the highway fourthly...entrance doors are not automatic, have to struggle with them when you have luggage...fifth..only two luggage carts ...that went missing..had to borrow a hand truck from the maintenance guy to load my car....sixth...did not get wake up calls on time...10-15 minutes late....seventh STAYED FIVE DAYS, WOKE UP WITH A HORRIBLE BACK PAIN FOUR DAYS......something wrong with the beds....wont stay here again..... I was in town on business and I got a great deal through a flash sale. The room was perfect - fridge, microwave, ceiling fans, big screen tv, and wireless. The bed was comfortable. My room overlooked the pool but it was not loud at all. The location was very convenient. The breakfast was exactly as I expected - not a 5 star meal but very good and included. […] The gym is tiny - no free weights. But it has an elliptical, a treadmill and a bike so I still got good workouts in. The staff was very, very nice. I would definitely stay here again. Mehr

The room was nice. A couple of things happened that were a little disturbing. I had called ahead to let the staff at the hotel know that I was arriving late. When my daughter and I got to the hotel we checked in and when I open the door to our assigned room people where in bed asleep in our assigned room. Scared both them and us. I went back to the […] clerk, who informed me she was new and apologized. Then she gave us another room. She did go check to make sure no one was in that room. But when we got to the room it was a King size been instead of 2 queen as I had reserved. She told me she would have the manager change the room in the morning when the manager got in. We left for the day and when we got back the room had not been changed when we entered our room, we decided we would just keep it. No one had clean the room. This hotel was exceptional for the rate charged. The room had a sitting area, looked like it was recently remodeled, liked the wi-fi and office in an open hallway with spiral staircases leading to the library, impressive entrance, full breakfast (not continental), clean, easy access to I10 to the airport took us about 12 minutes to rental car return. […] Great service. Room was very nice, large and had plenty to offer! Would recommend this hotel to others.

The shuttle pick up was super late picking me up, only to find out we still had to go pickup a bunch more people at other terminals! One fellow said he waited well over an hour! inexcusable! Hotel was nothing at all like airport Hilton which is nice and business class.

Clean, comfortable beds, quiet and spacious, will definately will return.

top shelf, staff was great. breakfast was hot and tasty. rooms were clean and beds and furniture was very up to date well cared for. forgot a couple of items but staff was quick to help us out. would definetly stay here again. thanks again Al

Great bargain. Free shuttle to and from airport; weekday breakfast AND dinner (nothing fancy, but hit the spot for a weary traveler). Can walk across the street to Sheraton if want a sit down meal and alcoholic beverage. Can't walk much farther than that as no sidewalks - so need a car or taxi...but plenty of taxis around, just call 30 min before you […] want it. No complaints. Mehr

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms and bathroom were beautifully decorated. A great deal for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

Non-helpful staff, bad manager, inconvenient location.

Great looking hotel with very clean rooms and nice furnishings. Only major complaint is this is advertised as a suite hotel--well thats an extreme exagerrration of the word Suite. Basically its a normal sized room with a half wall installed in the middle...not a suite by any means..be warned this room is not AT ALL bigger than any regular hotel room […] at any hotel. Mehr

I loved how soft the beds were. Breakfast was good. My only compliant would be the air conditioning completely shut off and would not turn on for over 30-45mins but once we got it going everything was fine.

I wish i could stay in this hotel longer, it was lovely. It reminded me of the hyatt in chicago but with nicer colors and comfortable feelings. It was an awesome value and breakfast was decent. It was eggs, bacon, bagels, cereal, sausage, juice, milk, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, waffles, fruit, yogurt, bread, and boiled eggs for those who book according […] to how breakfast is also. The breakfast was a nice start to the day. The TV channels were a little confusing and the in-house created guide didn't match but that didn't matter since we were able to hook up our portable DVD player and watch what we wanted.

This was a wonderful property and we truly enjoyed our stay at this Comfort Suits. They are doing it right.

We have stayed here before when visiting Phoenix. It is a clean, very large and comfortable bed. It fits our need in the winter when we would not be using the pool. THe pool area is very small and we like to stay other places where the pool area is larger.

Bring a candle for the odor but a great room for the price. The bedding and room were clean just had a stale smell to the place that opening the window and using a candle quickly dispelled. Breakfast was good and the service was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Would definitely stay here again. Comfortable clean room, just carpet is stained next to door. Friendly staff.

Excellent stay rooms were very clean and nice looking. The air conditioner was a lil noisy, but then again I can sleep through anything. They had people paiting the building at the time but no problem what so ever. The location is perfect. Right next to I-10 and I-60. Only 3 miles from downtown tempe. we enjoyed our stay very much. This property is a well maintained hotel. The service was excellent and the rooms were in immaculate condition. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and plan on returning back to this fine hotel on our future visits. Would never stay there again. Had a problem and the manager could care less about an issue and walked away like he didnt care! Terrible staff makes for a terrible stay.

nice clean and comfy room

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The pool and spa were particularly appreciated, as well as the sitting area and bedroom, giving it a 'suite' feel.

staying at the comfort suite in tempe az was a very wonderful experience. it's the best place i've stayed in a very long time. the only thing i could say that wasn't perfect was the shower was slippery when taking a shower. they might consider some anti-skid.other than that everything was very satisfying

Nice hotel, good breakfast, reasonable rates. We didn't get to use the pool since the weather was not quite warm enough. I did use the treadmill which functioned well. Our only complaint was that the air-conditioner was rather noisy (the reason the "comfort of your room" was not a 5).

Very happy with this location, from the dramatic entryway with the double staircase, to the very comfortable bed! I would highly recommend staying there, the employees are very pleasant and accommodating, the neighborhood is very quiet and the location is convenient to just about anywhere in the valley. I look forward to booking here again next time […] I stay in Phoenix! Mehr

This was a great place to stay, very nice, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. Easy to find location. Light weekend traffic made easy ingress/egress.

Great stay..very comfortable..friendly staff..and quick shuttle to airport.

Breakfast was super hooked up! Super fresh and good!

Hotel personnel were very friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight and hot coffee was provided at 4 am together with a 'Grab and Go' snack. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and on our return trip, the Continental breakfast substantial.

This hotel was very comfortable, very clean. The continental breakfast was generous and the Manager's reception during the week was a pleasant surprise. Our arrival was delayed by a dust storm and we had not had any supper. The hotel clerk "Crystal' was kind enough to wait for us to eat before closing the reception buffet. Fresh coffee and a 'Grab N […] Go' snack bag were provided before our 4 am departure for the Airport. Mehr
