Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Comfort Inn Federal Way liegt in Federal Way in der Nähe von The Commons at Federal Way, Rhododendron Botanical Garden und Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection. Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center ist eine weitere in der Nähe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeit.

Perfect! Helpful staff who let us check in early, quiet rooms even though there was several girls' baseball teams staying there. Great breakfast, clean, well maintained, I would definitely stay here again.

"great location for shops and airport"
very happy - FANTASTIC staff - very warm, friendly and so helpful and knowledgeable about the area and transit shops etc. Near airport so expect some noise but overall great!

"Federal Way! Way to Go!"
Our room was ready on time, was clean, stocked and ready for us to be there. The pool was a perfect temp and the hot tub hot enough to enjoy. We had a sufficent breakfast every morning and by the time we came back every afternoon the room had been cleaned. Thank you for a wonderful stay-we will be back!!

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn Federal Way and found it through reviews posted by others. My main criteria are location (safety and surrounding area), price, and breakfast in the morning. This hotel was great in all those categories. The location was right off of the freeway and easy to get to. "Dog hair every where..."
I had booked this room for my family and I for one night. It looked nice from the pix I had seen on line...There was a total of four people two kids and my husband and my self. We were returning back from taking the kids to the Zoo and had to be at the Sea Tac Airport the next day so we thought this would be an ok place to stay the night at well when […] we were first checking in there was a Employee who I could not understand and communicate with but that's besides the point...The room looked fine when we first opened the door but let me tell you all that was not the case once I put my stuff down and started to look around I found dog hair on the bed and a funky smell every where... Human hair on the floor and it was nastyyyyyyy... I don't think the sheets were washed so I would not reccomend this place to anyone. I guess you get what you pay for...The only one good thing about this hotel was the Breakfast.... They did a really good job with what the provided during breakfast. Mehr

Well, overall the room was nice and clean, unfortunately there was a girls fast pitch baseball team staying there the first night we arrived, and they were very noisey and stayed up late, making lots of noise. Then, the next morning they had eaten all of the food, which never got re-stocked, by 8:00 it was all gone, except for a few bagels and some […] fruit. There were no eggs, No sausage, No orange juice, and you couldn't begin to get to the waffle making machine. By Sunday morning the baseball team was gone & there was food avail, but the orange juice machine was almost pure water, with a little orange color to it. We Had to go elsewhere for breakfast both days. I travel quite a bit and have never seen the breakfast situation this bad. I'm a morning breakfast kind of guy, I'm going to rate it an F - on that one. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have four children. We enjoyed the pool, breakfast and of course the room. Great food for breatkfast!

We stayed here for a concert and the rooms were minimal but clean and the hotel staff was very professional and always there to help. The breaknfast served was much more than I expected and saved us money on eating out at a restaurant. Over all, I would stay here again and would reccommend this hotel to others.

This was a nice hotel i was very satisfied thing were nice and quiet.
I had booked the room online the night before we stayed. My daughter ended up going to a birthday so we asked if we could change to a smoking room. The Clerk upgraded us as well to a Jacuzzi suite at no additional cost because there were a lot of kids staying that night as well. They were wonderful, answered all my questions. "Comfort Inn Federal Way"
Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Somewhat difficult to find if your looking at a GPS but if you look out the window it sits on a hill and easily visible.

Pleased with room,grandchildren enjoyed the pool area. Excellent complimentry breakfast buffet,with sausages, scrambled eggs,WOW!!!!! very rare and unexpected bonus. Also located in the same lot as a small shopping center with major grocery store . "Quiet Place"
The hotel is located in the quiet place. I could sleep very well. Very convenience place for all amenities. I'm very satisfy of this hotel with reasonable hotel value. I will stay this hotel when I chance to visit Federal Way area.

This hotel was one I would definately recommend. The staff was professional and courteous. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. We will stay here again for sure.

The Comfort Inn in Federal Way WA was a very comfortable place to stay. My mother & I went for my son's wedding and stayed 2 days. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and my mother and I both made a point of telling the desk staff how clean our room was. There was no dust or dirt anywhere in our room, even the corners were spotless. I dropped […] my glasses on the floor and they went under the bed. When I went to get them there wasn't a speck of dust under the bed. There was a self-serve breakfast in the morning and the area was kept very clean. The staff was very friendly and made you feel like they were happy to have you there. If I go to Federal way again I would definately stay there. I would also stay in other Comfort Inns. "Good Hotel, Ok breakfast, Hard to find"
Don't trust the directions from this site to find this hotel, they are horrible. I know the area too!! Make sure you either get better directions or have the Hotel phone number handy. The hot breakfast is ok, Waffles, link like sausage ,and eggs. The eggs are not the usual boild bag food service of america eggs they are something different, not sure […] what. The rest of the breakfast bar has good variety. Over all is a decent hotel, clean and serviceable. Better Directions and better eggs please Mehr

"The hotel you can't find"
Everything was as expected for hotel clean and comfy, rates were good. The only problem is you will miss the turn from PAC HWY into the parking lot and have to go around the block the one lane entrance is easy to miss, not much of a problem just annoying.
