Comfort Inn Palm Springs - Palm Springs

Within walking distance to "main street". Room was nice size, missing a few items, but easily brought by staff. Pool was out of service for a couple hours, not sure why, but the "wading or kiddie" pool was available at that time. Staff was helpful, very helpful in printing out my boarding pass for my flight. Overall, enjoyed our stay

Great price for somewhere so close to the main drag. Would have liked a pool bar and more sun lounged cushions

The location of this hotel was the best feature. Also the sun exposure at the pool was great too. We chose this hotel because of last minute planning. I didn't like that there was no way to air out the room unless you were in it as the room smelled bad. An incentive to spend as little time in the room as possible. Close to Everything!! Good for the money.. Only complaint was noisy.. Rooms have thin walls.. Great place to go bar hopping and walk back to room.. This was 2nd time there and will stay there again..Room has coffee pot and Iron.. Lobby has free breakfast treats..

Great downtown location. Old smelly musty room. Building has outdoor carpeting that leads right into your room, bring sandals or slippers to protect your feet. Unit in original dated condition, full Renovation needed. Bed was comfortable though. Will never stay here again.

The building can use a renovation. Upon opening the door, there was a strange odor that remained throughout the night. When walking on the floor there were several holes one could step in, the rug covered these, but you could feel them under your feet. Being a Friday night, we had quite a party start outside of our room between 1 am until 3, then they […] came back about 5 am until 7 am. I called the front desk but no one seemed to come address the situation. When I complained upon check out, I was told the peole were watching the lunar eclipse. I informed him what I heard was a bunch of kids drinking and cursing and carrying -on, not stuff I wanted my young daughter, who was in the room, to overhear. Make the effort to stay at one of the other hotels in the area. Mehr

I like that the price is affordable, complimentary breakfast, and 2 large pools. However, I was more concern with the quality of the room. I think that the room needs to be updated especially the TV, the bathroom, and there are no soap, shampoo, and conditioner. It is upon request.

My room had a funny odor of smelly feet but my travel companion indicated it was probably paint. I got used to the smell after about 1 hour. The stay was pleasant, breakfast was wonderful. Very friendly, courteous staff.

The room was clean but they just need monitor the Doors our bathroom door was ready to fall off the hindges i told them them the next morning they never came so we just did not close the bathroom door the rooms are stuffy and windows do not open overall it is ok to stay for the weekend.Ice machine on the second floor does not work.;

If you are looking for a nice place to stay for a low price then this place is for you! Great location to down town palm springs. Less than 5 minute walk to the shops :) My only two complaints were: the hotel does look a little run down and I ordered a movie that was in the "4.99" category and what do you know the next morning to check out the guy tell […] me, oh you watched a movie lastnight? I was like yes, got a little bored. He says oh that will be 18.99.. I was like what?!?!?!? And he goes I'm sorry I mean 15.99... I go what again! And he says that is the correct price! I argued and he said he didn't know what I was talkin about the 4.99. So my advise to you is dont rent a movie! Way over priced!!! Mehr

Location- within walking distance of downtown & all the main attractions Room- modern style rooms that are great;however, maybe it was just my room but the couch smelled so don't sit on it. The first thing which caught my eye was the 'C' rating the health department gave this hotel. In the lobby was a strong smell of disinfectant. The room was okay until I walked into the bathroom. There had been massive water damage from a leak above this room. Someone decided to take a shortcut in repairing the damage by not pulling down the drywall. I am more than satisfied with this hotel. The location could not have been better! Close to restuarants and shops. The staff was very nice, Jeannie at the front desk was very warm and gracious. The property was clean and neat, nice pool area and gym. I frequent the area alot and will stay here from now on.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was clean, the pool was great as was the continental breakfast which offered more than typical continental breakfasts. It's close to everything and the room rate was very good as well.

not clean, the costumers service is bad.

This hotel is very dirty the pools are not clean . The hall way carpet of the hotel passage have a bad oder. The bathroom is very dirty. This is not the place to stay in for a vacation or even a one night stay. Motel 8 is way cleaner than this hotel.

i was very pleased i did recommend a fridge and the room that they had available did not come with one but i made it work .. that was the only upset about my stay .. i would definitly stay there again and send info to my friends .. see you guys next year

All I wanted was a place walking distance to downtown and with a pool. It was perfect for that! The pool was slightly dirty but lots of of chairs to lay out on and the hotel was comfortable and clean. Perfect if you just want to get go drink and walk back to a bed!

Location, Location, Location. You are literally a stone throw away from downtown and all the happening spots. It is perfect for a couple's getaway. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.

Nice room, good air-conditioning, and a fantastic location right next to some of the best restaurants in Palm Springs make this a great place to stay.....

older hotel with small room but kindly allowed us 1130AM early check in because of ill family member. Site said refrigerator available on request- we requested with reservaqtion, but on arrival were told only certain rooms could have refrigerator and ours was not rated as one of them. Felt the website misled us.

Low grade hotel for ridiculously high price...Iv'e stayed at Hyatt Regency's in world class locations for less than what I paid for this place.

the location was the best part. the room was modest but all that was needed.

The staff was very friendly! The only thing I didn't like was that the jacuzzi wasn't working and the 'the gym' didn't have very safe equipment, in my opinion. But the Breakfast was delicious! the breakfast was fruit(bananas, oranges, apples,& etc.), juices, milk, coffee, hot-tea, fresh baked waffles w/syrup, bagels, and muffins.

A nice clean, comfortable room. Drapes could be replaced. Cable TV, pay movies. Bagels toast, make your own waffles, coffee tea juice cereal complimentary breakfast was as expected. Good stay good price.

This was a manageable hotel. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was decent and there was a tiny gym area with a few broken pieces of equipment. Was more like a well-appointed motel. Not sure if it was worth the value as there are better deals in Palm Springs with superior amenities and style for comparable price.

This hotel has as great location in Palm Springs, easy to walk anywhere in town. We've stayed there several times, and the experience is very consistant. The rooms are fine, and having a refrigerator in the room is great for drinks, especially when going to the pool. The continental breakfast is extensive (just toast, bagels, or you can make a waffle), […] but perfectly fine. And again, you can walk anywhere. Mehr

I know the recommendation percentage is in favor of staying here, but don't. It is small, dirty, and nothing works. No ice in ice machine. TV didn't even work. The only thing going for it is the free continental breakfast and it's proximity to downtown. I would still rather pay a little more to stay at a cleaner place. Now I know. Don't stay here.
