Die Zimmer (selbst Doppelzimmer) sind zwar sehr klein, aber praktisch. Man bleibt ja eh nur zum Schlafen dort. Hauptsache alles war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, da sich ein Bäcker direkt um die Ecke befand. Das Hotel hat eine top Lage, da man alles sehr schnell erreicht. es liegt genau auf halbe Strecke zwischen Strand […] und Hauptbahnhof und liegt direkt an der Haupteinkaufsstraße. Jederzeit wieder!! very clean room, good service, close to shopping-street,only 5-10 minutes to see.super.

Wir waren angenehm überrascht! Sauberes Zimmer, ausreichendes Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal,. Auf Grund der Lage ist das Hotel ideal für alle Reisende die mit dem Flugzeug kommen. Mit den Bussen 98 oder 99 vom Flughafen bis Hauptbahnhof oder eben Busbahnhof und dann ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuss. Hotel ist ganz ok jedoch auch nicht ganz günstig

Wir waren für 4 Nächte in Nizza und haben uns im Hotel Boreal sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und alle Fragen wurden geduldig - zeitweise auch nur in französisch - beantwortet. Der Concierge, welcher Australier ist, war wirklich top! Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Bad top! Handtücher wurden ganz nach […] Bedarf gewechselt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch 1A! Obst, Brot, Eier, Wurst, Käse, Joghurt, etc. alles vorhanden und es wurde auch nachgereicht. Die Lage zum Bahnhof, dem Meer und dem großen Einkaufszentrum war auch ideal - nur ca. 5 min. Das einzige was uns aufgefallen ist, sind die dünnen Wände - man hört den Nachbarn - und die knarrenden Böden :o). Mehr

Hotel conveniently close to old town, promenade, and public transportation. Staff very friendly.

first time in Nice, this hotel was ideal, easy to find using the bus from the airport, right next to main shopping st and 5 mins walk to the old town and the sea. I would recommend it

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Boreal. The staff was very helpful with maps and information about using public transportation. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The hotel is within an easy walk of Old Nice and the beach.

From the really friendly front desk man to the design details of the hotel, this was a really delightful stay. My only problem was with the two single beds that were pulled together to make a "queen" bed. When you pull two single beds together you have that horrible crack down the middle where a couple SHOULD be sleeping. The location was good, not […] as good as being right on the beach, but being right on the beach didn't seem worth five time more each night. Lots of good restaurants near the hotel except on Sunday. The Planet Sushi was a good Sunday choice. Woody's was also a great place to eat & just a few blocks away. Being from Alaska, it was really nice to see the oranges & lemons hanging from the frees right across the street in the middle of winter. The flower market was nice also and we picked up some spices and some amazing berries. I have no clue if the TV worked or not. We had so much fun out doing things that we never even tried it. The internet connection was good and we were able to upload our photos each night. We got some great photos from the Ferris wheel, took the train (really easy) to Monaco & saw the aquarium (AMAZING!), had an ice cream at the marina & walked through the gardens at the top of the hill. Nice hotel, just off the main thoroughfare. All staff pleasant and helpful. While room is not overly spacious, it was very comfortable and clean. Hotel has easy access by bus from airport, stop a short walk away. Surrounded by shopping areas and restaurants with the old area of Nice again a short stroll. we had an enjoyable 3 night stay here in january and found the hotel very good. the staff on reception were all very helpful and answered our questions. it is in a very central position and in the case of our rooms ( at the back of the hotel i admit ) were quiet. 1 of the rooms was rather small but the other was fine. Excellent hotel, very central and convenient location, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast with lots of choice.. We would certainly stay there again. No lift to rooms in one half of building so need to be fit enough to cope with stairs or ask for room in section of hotel with lift access.

Stayed in 5 hotels on this vacation and Boreal's beds were the best. Small but soft and comfy.

We were delighted with our stay at this hotel, it was a real gem,as soon as we walked in the decor caught our eye, really well presented. A very good base for Nice. The room is small but adequate for short stay.

Location great, but it's not worth the price. No shower curtains, so bathroom gets all wet. Not a very good situation to be in.

I would recommed with reservations in that the room for two people was really small.Still one can watch TVwhile in the bathroom! However the staff were helpful and the breakfast great. very convenient for everything and a good deal for an expensive resort .

This hotel is very nice, bright and charming--very clean, interior new-looking, Up-to date bathroom with marble tile. The staff speaks English and were very helpful to us. Location is great--close to anything you would want, including the beach. Would stay there again.

This was a really god hotel. The location is excellent, close to the railway station, the (nowadays) pedestrian Av. Jean Medecin, quickly brings you to the old town and Promade the Angais. The room I got was fresh and clean, with a perfectly working air condition. Although I got a room facing the street, you did not hear much of the traffic. The service is good & the staff was quite willing to help. The room is tiny. The walls are thin. We can hear our neighbors and outside. The bed had a musty, sweat smell. We were only able to sleep properly after the took the smelly pads away. Bathroom has no curtains, so everything gets wet when you shower. They ran out of shampoo. Why would a hotel […] run out? I stayed at hotel Boreal for 3 nights with 2 friends , I enjoyed it very much , the stuff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel is close to everything . The only annoying thing is that the neighbors on the top floor were very noisy and loud .

The staff at this hotel was wonderful. Locations was pretty good, only a few blocks from the beach.

My wife and I are just back from 2 nights in the Hotel Boreal, Nice. We were delighted with thr Boreal, very friendly, helpful staff with excellent English. Our room was small but comfortable with all the features you except in a 3 star hotel. Location is excellent and the street is very quiet. Next door are 3 small restaurants which offer good food […] at reasonable price. The Boreal is not cheap but neither is anything in Nice. We felt the hotel was good value and would stay there again. The location was good I didn't take any breakfast there were cages around the area offering good breakfast the beds were very uncomfortable my husband couldn't sleep if u turn it made noise the taxi was arranged by the hotel for twenty eight euro but the taxi driver charged thirty euro so not sure what happen there

We stayed at Hotel Borel May 25 to May 29, 2011. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. No problem communicating in English. Rooms are quite small but very clean with decent sized bathrooms. No fridge in room but staff was very willing to chill wine or beer for you. We recently spent 6 nights at the Hotel Boreal and were extremely satisfied. The location is excellent-, walking distance to the train station, pedestrian tourist area and the Place Massena. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated; the beds were comfortable with crisp white sheets.Compared to outside, the breakfast buffet was a good buy and […] satisfactory. We had a very comfortable room, clean, a bit small but perfect. There was no refrigerator, but management kept our things in the kitchen fridge for us. Great service, most excellent breakfast! Vive la France.

Hotel Boreal is well situated for easy access to old town, station and bus stops. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. We had room only and found a little cafe nearby with a sunny patio to have breakfast -we felt hotel breakfast was rather pricey and that the dining room was a little dull and dated. Perfectly located just off the main shopping street bang in the centre of Nice, a short walk from the train station and short walk to the beach and old town too. Very quiet at night and felt safe due to there being a 24hr reception and the door was locked at night. Staff were all very polite and helpful, providing maps, sightseeing and travel advice […] and they let us leave our bags after check out as our train was late afternoon. Only gripe was that there wasn't really anywhere to sit and relax in the room (two of us and only one little chair) and there was no tea/coffee making facilities. There are nice cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep of the hotel though so it's probably not required for a short break. Mehr

The location of this hotel is perfect! It is a 4 Euro taxi from the train station or 10 minute walk. The neighborhood around the train station is a little sketchy, but the neighborhood near this hotel is pleasant and safe. Perfect distance from the beach as it allows you to walk through all of the charming and enchanting shops and sights without too […] much clutter. We didn't partake in the breakfast, but there are plenty of places to eat in the area on your schedule and cheaper. The hotel room is very spacious; although, there is no shower curtain which gets the entire bathroom wet during a shower. That was the only sub-par thing about the hotel. Also, the hotel will keep your luggage in the lobby if you have a later flight/train after check-out. Overall, awesome experience and we will definitely stay there again! Mehr

Room was very basic and small. Just enough room for bed and closet with a few hangers. Also, no shower curtain on the shower, which was odd, but workable. The concierge and staff were very helpful, english speaking, and you can't beat the location of this place. Just minutes away from shopping, restaurants, beach, and train station. Our stay began with the most easiest of check ins I've ever experienced. The Hotel Staff all spoke fluent English and were only too happy to point us in the right direction of where we needed to go. Amazing location, close to the mall and the light rail (tram) which takes you all around town for 1 euro one way or 4 euros for a day pass. 10-15 min walk to old nice, the beach and the hill. felt safe walking around till 2 am. the staff are very helpful. the room and service are decent, a 3 or 3.5 star quality level. The hotel is convenient and central. The rooms are a bit small but clean and tidy and the staff were friendly.

This hotel was perfect for me - I could check in early, it was clean, the staff were courteous and helpful, and it was centrally located. And not very expensive, and there was even free wifi! I was very pleased with my entire stay.

The hotel has an excellent location, in the middle of all Nice activities. Service excellent and very clean. I found the rooms to be very basic. Mid-range bed, chair and small desk. Positives had nice bathroom, good wireless and the staff very helpful. Only negative was the size and comfort of the room.

Nice Hotel in lovely street with Italian style old buildings in a good location near Place Massena. Quite area. Double room with twin beds a bit small but this was fairly acceptable for 2 nights and for the price. Nice Hotel team.
