Hyatt Place Orlando Convention Center - Orlando

Wir waren für drei Nächte im Hyatt Place Orlando. Es ist ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel, únser Familienzimmer war angenehm groß und sauber. Die Umgebung ist nicht so schlön, da es in zweiter Reihe an einer großen Strasse liegt. Zu den diversen Parks liegt es dahert allerdings sehr zentral mít guter Anbindung. Hotel war nicht weit vom Convention Center entfernt, konnte man zu Fuß erreichen. Sehr sauber und sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal!

The wife and I enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The room was large and very clean. It had nice large screen TV. The hotel is right off International Drive and in walking distance to many places to eat and hang out. We went dancing Saturday night and didn’t have to worry about driving back. I would definitely go back again.

The elevator was broken, some in the parking lot got their rims stolen, this is a Hyatt, on I drive, not in the hood,

Concierge service from the moment you walk in-- convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants, shuttle service to all attractions. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with all amenities. Great place to stay. We live here in Orlando, and wanted a nice, affordable place to celebrate our anniversary.... this is the place!

The breakfast included in the rate is excellent and the location is great. The room is huge and service is excellent. I haved stayed twice in the last six months and will stay there again.

It was an excellent hotel, great service, great location, just off the strip...behind senor frogs......!!! The only downfall was breakfast, it was good food and selection , however 1000 people down within a few hours adds to be a madhouse, and they ran out of stuff...including dishes / glasses. So that can be improved.

The Hotel was bueatiful. It made the family vacation very pleasurable. We had 5 in the room and the suite was very nice. Breakfast was was awesome and Carmen the great lady that took care of the breakfast was wonderful. I would hire her at my restaurant if she was willing to move to Western New York. " Thanks Carmen for making our stay even better. […] When we checked in on our first night "E" checked us in and she did a great job. She was in training as far as I could tell, But she did a wonderful job in letting us know where to find our way around the hotel. Good Luck "E" we will see you the next time are in Orlando. We recently stayed here when we were visiting the Disney Water Parks. It is about 11 miles to the parks and fairly easy to get to and rom. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful with directions. The room was very modern and clean with a pull out couch in the room. Very nice big screen TV. Free internet worked fine. There were many breakfast choices […] and hot drinks. The surrounding are has just about every restaurant chain you can think of. Many of them within a mile of the hotel. All in all a great value with a great staff! Mehr

We have stayed here many times and will return again. The only problem I ever have is the key does not always work the outside doors. That can be annoying when you have to park in the back and walk all the way around. The bathrooms are on the small side but its ok for a few days.

Wonderful staff. Extremely friendly. Nice clean hotel in a great location. I was attending a convention and the hotel was so friendly I'd go back again for a vacation,

The staff was very helpful and friendly! The room was very large, even with a family of five, and very clean! Close to everything on International Drive and a short drive to Sea World, Outlets, and Disney. We will definitely stay here again!

I was in town visiting since I used to live in Orlando and this hotel was highly recommended by friends. Only stayed one night to visit but it was a great stay! The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the pillows. I have a bad back and it's hard for me to sleep in any place other than home but I slept so well and felt so refreshed the next day. […] All of the staff were curteous, polite, and professional. Very helpful staff

Great room...I really liked the layout and furnishings. Front desk staff was wonderful. Will stay there again.

Reserved a 2 bed room got a single king room with a simple explaination that selecting a room type does not guarantee you get same type of room. I guess since we checked in late at night they gave away the 2 double bed room to someone else. The staf was overall very nice. They moved us to 2 double bed room the next morning. Our visit was mainly to take […] kids to disney theme parks so the breakfast option was nice as it saved lot of time and we could live on that till afternoon. Its an old hotel so the carpets may smell a little bit if you don't keep the air running. The room swere clean. I think it was overpriced a bit given the size, location and amenities. It could be because we went right around new year. We were in orlando a day before we expected and stayed @ peabody 1st night for little more ( base rate was lower but they added parking fee and internet charges to the bill). For us breakfast was a big winner so this hotel was a good practical option as we were out most of the day. Mehr

Close to Universal, shops and many restaurants. Everyone was very friendly at check-in and check-out. Continental breakfast is included.

I took my children and grandchildren to Universal for 2 days and there were 12 of us. We really enjoyed the layout of the 3 rooms. The sitting area and kitchenetts. It is a great place for children and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. A nice hotel with most of the shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Situated in the middle of International Drive and Universal Blvd. Nice breakfast and good service. Well located, nicely appointed and convenient to the meeting .

Beware and ask about the ongoing construction...we were put right next door to the renovation of 4 rooms that were being totally renovated..loud and annoying until 6pm and then again on Sunday morning starting at 830am. If I had known we would be right next door to it I would never have stayed there. There are thousands of hotels in Orlando and you […] do not need to have construction next to your room. Also the breakfasts at Hyatt Place have really gone done hill...this is a very busy hotel and I understand the breakfast is included but a few dollars more added to the room rate would be well spent to provide a better breakfast with muffins and danish and maybe plain scrambled eggs or waffles. Supermarket donuts just dont cut it. . Mehr

Staff is polite and helpful. Rooms are large and well Designed. Free parking and wireless Internet make this hotel a very good value. Easy access from universal blvd and ample parking. Would definitely book this hotel again.

I picked the hotel because it had continental breakfast included in the price but the breakfast was nothing more than toast, bagels, and frozen fruits (which didn't taste fresh nor good).

The rooms were nice although the floor we were on had construction going on at the time. One of the elevators went out during our stay. The front desk was very helpful with arranging our rooms and over all these are things that any hotel can experience and the hotel is a solid 3.5 star.

Great Hotel. Modern. Large TV's in room. (Although channel selection is limited to "grown-up" channels, i.e., no Nickelodeon or Disney, and my daughter was disappointed. Conveniently located to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove, and Universal Studios. Neighborhood has plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Nice continental breakfast.

other than a couple of mosquitos in our room, all was as good or better than expected. Friendly Staff, decent breakfast, and most importantly a quiet space to rest. In room A/C a bit noisy but that had it's beneficial side also.Great location and a nice price for a nice place. Would use again!

The hotel is very state of the art. I have stayed here twice now. Once in March and once in August. It is my preferred hotel of choice when in Orlando. If I am traveling to another city, I check to see if they have a Hyatt Place 1st. The room is clean and comfy. The sectional couch in the room is comfortable as well. The king size bed is of excellent […] quality and the TV at 42 inches is very big. Mirror and vanity so u can your wife can get ready at the same time. I can't say enough about this place. Mehr

the bathroom was too small

The staff was great and hotel was clean. Bathroom is the size of my water closet at home. There was also alot of deferred maintence eventhough they are renovating the bathrooms. TV and sitting area in room was great. For the cost, not worth it.

Great location, walkable to restaurants, etc. No on site dining, so great that everything is close

Hyatt Place locations are always great rooms and included breakfast at a good rate. One of this chains signatures is a bowl of apples in the lobby. They even have art of these bowls I've seen around in their hotels. I was surprised that the apples at this loxation were fake apples. My kids were disappointed when they tried to grab one for a snack.

To start off, the staff is the friendliest I've come across. The complementary breakfast is fresh & well stacked. Rooms are decent size and clean.

Great location. Close to Seaworld and Universal. Outstanding customer service. Room was clean. Beds were too small. Full size beds could barely fit 2 people, but uncomfortably. Good overall rating.

I TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY AND SPEND ABOUT 60 NIGHTS PER YEAR IN HOTELS...AND NORMALLY WOULDN'T BOTHER WITH WRITING A REVIEW..BUT MY STAY HERE WAS BAD ENOUGH TO WARRANT THE TIME THIS TAKES. FIRST, HOTEL WOULD NOT HONOR MY RESERVATION REQUEST FOR A KING BED, NOR WOULD THEY MOVE ME TO ANOTHER ROOM DURING MY WEEK LONG STAY WHEN A KING ROOM BECAME AVAILABLE. […] HOTEL STAFF CONTINUALLY GAVE THE THE RUNAROUND WITH EXCUSES. NOT THE END OF THE WORLD, BUT ANNOYING AND UNPROFESSIONAL. NO HOT FOOD AT BREAKFAST, AGAIN ONLY AN INCONVENIENCE. TINY POOL WITH ONLY A FEW LOUNGES. CARD READER TO POOL WAS BROKEN, SO EITHER YOU HAD TO GO AROUND TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL OR BANG ON THE DOOR UNTIL SOMEONE ANSWERED. MANY GUESTS REPORTED THIS, BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED DURING MY WEEK STAY. ROOMS ARE GENERALLY WORN, WITH CHIPPED FURNITURE, MILDEWY TILES, RUST, ETC. ROOM WAS MARGINALLY CLEANED DAILY WITH WITH ONLY MINOR ATTENTION TO DETAIL. TV REMOTE BROKED, TOOK ONE DAY FOR A REPLACEMENT. ALSO, THEY WERE REMODELLING ROOMS, VERY NOISY FROM 8AM TO 5 PM, LOTS OF DIRT AND DEBRIS THROUGHOUT MY FLOOR. SOME VERY UNUSUAL ODORS--OFTEN SMELLED LIKE A HOSPITAL ROOM. I COULD GO ON, BUT IN ALL, THIS WAS A VERY, VERY UNSATISFYING STAY IN WHAT I WOULD CONSIDER A SUBSTANDARD PROPERTY. I ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE SIGN IS HIDDEN BEHIND A TREE AND RECESSED FROM THE ROAD---IT TOOK US THREE TRIES TO FIND IT. Mehr

The customer service at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast was also very good.

The hotel is in a great location close to eating and universal studios. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Free wifi too!

The hotel is Very good, but you need a car to go to the main adventure places. The other minor detail is that you need to be on time for breakfast otherwise the servers will take the food off from your mouth.

This hotel is in the middle of everything! Short drive to Universal/Islands of Adventure as well as Sea World and Aquatica. Many restaurants to choose from walking distance from the property as well as convenience stores. The hotel employees were fantastic!!! They were there to assist and please. However, the daily service to the room left a lot to […] be desired. They did not always leave the same amount of towels. The sofa-bed was fixed differently every day, somedays they washed the cups and glasses and others they just took them and didn't replace them. One day they took the cover sheet to the sofa bed and they never replaced it. The day before we left they didn't even make te beds!!! Overall very good experience; we stayed there for 9 nights. Mehr
