Hyatt Place Lakeland Center - Lakeland

Really REALLY great hotel. So comfortable and clean! Employees were extremely nice, specially Leticia, who checked us in and even gave us a little tour of the gallery explaining everything they have to offer. I wish I could had stayed longer. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again!

The hotel did not honor the room reservation as booked. King bed was booked. Two doubles were provided. Room smelled of mold, and must. Shower faucet dripped, and the bathroom had cockroaches. But, hey this is Florida, America's basement where mold and bugs exist. Breakfast was fine, and the bed was comfortable. Trains run near by and tend to blast […] their horns until 1 am. The hotel was well below the standard we expected from Hyatt. The lobby elevator was filthy, the tile floor in the elevator was stained and the corners were full of hair and dirt, the stainless was smudged with hand and finger prints. When we checked in the attendant put us Ina room that had occupants. The next day we had to call them to clean the room […] only to be told they had cleaned the room and to check the bathroom for fresh towels, well there were fresh towels but the bed wasn't made and the trash hadn't been emptied. The hotelis nice, people are efficient and kind. Breakfast can be improved but is not bad. The only issue in the room was the carpet, old and stained. For the price paid I believe that you will not be desapointed

Hotel rooms smelled musty. Also bug in room. Breakfast terrible - order eggs and very dry and gross.

The carpets were very dirty and stained. Not the greatest impression. The sofa bed not at all comfortable. It was a little out of the way of where we were going - great if you are doing something downtown.

Excellent place to stay. Clean, great location. Close to Florida Southern college.

Great hotel, wonderful staff. Great location in downtown Lakeland, which is a very pleasant downtown area for shops, restaurants. I highly recommend it.

I have stayed at this particular hotel before, which is why I came back. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is definately set up for the business travelor. Several outlets and connections at the desk in the room. Would definately stay again!

I stayed at this hotel for business (the location could not have been better) and was very impressed by the customer service I received. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, but the carpet could use some updating. Good stay and would definitely go back.

Stayed to couple days sending off my son to Southeastern University for the semester. For the last 4 trips to the area stayed at a Country Inn & Suites substantially further away from campus. This time, this Hyatt was about the same price. Much nicer, much more luxurious suite, much closer to school, much more central to shopping. The only thing wrong […] was it seemed that water was spilled by a prior guest in corner. Suite was spacious enough to avoid without a problem. Mehr

This was my first time staying at a Hyatt brand hotel. They obviously put a huge emphasis on customer service, and it pays off. You are greeted every time you come in, staff go out of their way to ask how your stay is going, and they are quick to help you with any information you need. The lobby was beautiful, with a small cafe/bar and a luxurious little […] niche for the continental breakfast area. The room had a partially separated, spacious living space with a sectional couch, desk, sink. It was clean and was attractively designed and decorated. The view out the back is into a deserted industrial grounds with train tracks just behind, but we enjoyed watching the nest of baby ospreys nesting on a light pole outside. The pool is a decent size, but did not seem to ever be stocked with towels. The hotel is right next to the Lakeland Center (watch for lots of parking lot traffic surrounding events) and is also a very convenient walk into the downtown. Overall, this was a great experience. Overall stay was very pleasant, rooms very clean with everything accessible. The rroms are smaller than what we expected.. On the second night an out of control couple a few doors down from us decided to party and get loud. A phone call was made to the front desk and within minutes the desk clerk was on our floor handling the situation. Everyone greeted […] you with a smile and were very helpful. Parking was limited but the location was safe and tucked away from the noises of downtown and highway. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in Lakeland! Mehr

Clean, comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. Convenient location to Lakeland Center.

This is our 3rd stay at the hotel. We come back each year because it is the only decent & reasonably priced hotel near my folks in Winter Haven. The rooms are clean, the free breakfast is tasty and the lobby is a great use of space. Plus, there is a bar and hot food is available 24 hours a day.

The hotel was very nice, clean and well located to downtown which is where I needed to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and I would definitely stay here again if I could. The special rate for the holidays enabled me to stay in this lovely hotel instead of cheaper hotels in town which I usually use when I am there.

Very nice hotel, the staff made you feel like family,everyone always had a smile. The room was clean, hotel smelled fresh. I will be back for another stay when I get back to Lakeland. I hope this gets to your corporate office. Thank you Hyatt for a wonderfull stay.

Very nice hotel. I like the Hyatt Place layout. It was quiet and very clean. Excellent choice if you are in the area.

Love it! It was exceptionally clean, the hall ways smelled like flowers. The room was very spacious. It cannot say enough, for the price this was the best hotel!
