My daughter and I enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. It was quaint andj surrounded by history. Fun place to stay and visit. I would have enjoyed another day there.

Do not book this hotel. While it is a historic property, the windows, walls and doors are paper thin... You will hear every sound. There is no parking near by... Thus forcing you to use the valet service. The streets are cobble stone so you will hear that noise too in addition to the bars across the street. The room that my wife and I booked was small. […] The water facuet leaked , the toilet smelled like pool cleaner. Our last morning there, the maid attempted to enter the room 3 times despite having the "Do not distrube" sign on the door. Spend the money and stay somewhere else Mehr

The hotel is kept nice and fairly clean. It is a more historic hotel located in a great neighborhood close to shops, restaurants and the harbor. However, the condition of the hotel is not quite what I'm used to from a historic perspective. The bathroom was a little dingy as well as the furniture was somewhat beat-up and dinged. We have stayed here many times in the past and enjoyed the hotel. We were treated like second class citizens having booked through Hotels.com. We were charged a $20 extra person fee for our 14 year old daughter which we were told was your charge. We requested a double/double and were given a King with a rollaway. Not so comfortable for the price paid. […] The hotel said there was no request for the double/double which was incorrect because I confirmed the room status with their reservation agent. A friend and I stayed at the Admirals Fell Inn for St. Patty's Day , and despite the crowd and hustle and bustle the staff was very intentative and very friendly. The hotel is very charming along with the rooms. I would definately stay again. Looking forward to next year!!!!

The Admiral is an older hotel in a great location. Walking distance to a ton of bars, restaurants and shops. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooms are small but will definitely stay here again for Fells Point area.

The hotel is great, especially for people who like the quaintness of older hotels but don't like the crampness of older hotels. Considering the historic nature of the hotel, it was roomy and comfortable without the quirkiness of older hotels. My only complaint is that being in the middle of the city, I heard the garbage trucks picking up the trash that […] night. No biggy, just somewhat annoying but out of the hotels control. I loved the place. The place was nice, comfortable, friendly and reasonably priced. I am planning to stay there on my next few visits. Mehr

The Admiral Fell Inn was a nice place to stay... BUT??? Make sure you have an itinerary... there isn't much of anything to do.. Maybe it was the time of year? Long story, made short.. we didn't even stay the night. We're a couple in our late 30's from NYC... Not our "Cup of Tea". Parking is ridiculously expensive... $8 for 4 hours street parking... […] and parking at the hotel was $30 a night... Turned out to be a $400 day out.. Mehr

I loved the Hotel atmosphere and yes it is a dated hotel. I get that. But honestly, the room was small compared to photos and description wasn't very thorough. The bed was small, short, again dated or just how best to fit room. I am a tall person 6'4" so it was difficult. Walls were somewhat thin, i could hear neighbors and outside, again, dated. I […] get that these aren't complaints just making it know. My only true complaint is with the city location you are in a night life bar area, and there is no parking. You have to pay for parking during the day $2 per hour, max of 4 per spot. After 8pm parking is free until 10am. Staff are nice but limited in options for parking, night staff said use street and parking meters, day staff on my last day as i'm leaving asked if i used valet parking. Would have been a good option. Overall, I would recommend this place for the experience and history and the beautiful location, just go into it knowing more then I did. Could be my lack of learning or research but city living is not new to me but options are best known and given other than y our last day on check out. ~D Mehr

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and love it. The hotel is in a district near the harbor that is full of life. The rooms that face the harbor can be a little loud at night on the weekends due to the bars in the area, but it didn't bother us at all. It is fun to hear the younger set (we are nearing 60) having a good time. The only problem […] this visit was that there was no hair dryer in the room and when my wife requested one to be brought up it took two calls and 30 minutes to get one. Not a big deal, just annoying. We will definitely stay here again. Mehr

I enjoyed staying at this historic hotel. I also enjoyed the historic tour that was provided, especially the ghost tales. I would highly recommend this hotel to any history or ghost lover.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise! It was right in the middle of Fells Point, within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, bars, and sightseeing. We were also lucky enough to stay on a night that they had an Admiral's Reception - basically, a little history talk about the hotel and area, with free beer, wine, and appetizers! I have a feeling […] that I'll be back to this hotel again when I'm visiting next. Mehr

You can't find a better location and it comes with a touch of class mixed with history. Can't wait to stay there again

Beautiful historic hotel with a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine and appetizers were available for happy hour in the lobby. Rooms are charming but street noise was very loud ( and it was a Wednesday night).

A wonderful historic hotel. Beautifully restored. Great service and location. Naerby pubs and restaurants, plus entertainment venues.

This was my second stay at Admiral Fell Inn and I loved every moment of it just as much as the first time. The inn is historic and beautifully decorated as such. The rooms all have custom names in accordance with certain historical figures of the Baltimore area. The location cannot be beat; right in the heart of Fells Point and just steps away from […] the Inner Harbor and Federal Hill. Although the decor is antique, the modern amenities are plentiful and the beds are extremely comfortable and roomy. The staff is the most friendly and accommodating that I have ever encountered in my travels. I would highly recommend Admiral Fell Inn to anyone who asked. Mehr

Very nice hotel, would stay here again. Very convenient to shopping,food and nightlife.

The stay at the hotel was a pleasant. My wife, 2 grandchildren and I stayed three nights, only booked for two but wanted to stay another night and the staff was very accommodating in moving others around to keep us in our room the additional night. We took a nice walk to the inner harbor (about 45 minutes close to the water at a slow pace) and took […] a taxi back for $6.00. The room was comfortable with 2 queen beds and ample room in the bath.Jimmy's diner across the street was our breakfast everyday. Good home cooking for a fair price. We also ate at Shuckers across the street by the water. Food was excellent and the price was fair. Mehr

This hotel is fantastic in every way... Great service, amazingly comfortable bed, cannot beat the location.

We love the AFI. It is in one of the best locations of Fells Point where you can literally see about 30 bars and restaurants from the front steps. We live 20 min. from the city and stay there for a night away from home. Park your car and you won't need it again until you leave. We also love the old haunting atmosphere of the hotel. This hotel is about […] being in Fells. If you are looking for a traditional hotel stay i.e., pool, fitness center, business center, etc. then this isn't your place. Mehr

Great neighborhood but noisy, so bring earplugs if you're going to bed before closing time. I ordered a double occupancy room but was staying by myself so they switched me to a very small, single bed room, which was fine, but I don't know if that double occupancy room cost more and I was therefore screwed out of some money. Either way, the people at […] the desk are nice and helpful, and for such a quaint looking area you wouldn't know the nightlife would be so robust, but it is. Perfect location, would love to visit in the summer. Hotel itself is just a little run down (few stains on walls, carpet), but I think that's to be expected in a building so old. Mehr

Hotel is in a historic (cool) part of town. Water taxi to downtown is a short ride and a great way to see the waterfront. Lots of nite life!!! Would certainly like to have stayed longer.

I stayed in this hotel during the power outage after the storm. Needed a pet friendly spot with a sundeck! 4th floor offers this--delightful neighbors! It is a beautiful hotel, strategically located in Fells Point with alot of ambience. Staff are just excellent! only downside: valet parking is NOT FREE=29.99 day! I parked at a meter the second day […] for 9 bucks, in a lot, nearby, which took me into 10am the following am! rugs had some stains too; this could be related to the dog friendly room. Mehr

The Admiral Fell is a great combination of history, comfort and convenience. The Babe Ruth Room with lace covered 4 poster beds and a great view of the Fells Point is a relaxing location. I did not meet EA Poe's ghost this time.

Good immediate location but perhaps a little dicey a few blocks away. Very convenient for the water taxi and local pubs/eateries. Charming old building. Service was very good.

The Admiral Fell Inn is located in the heart of Fells Point. There aren't many lodging choices in Fells Point, but this one is always a solid choice. If I have one complaint, it would be that this old Inn is showing her age, and could use a facelift.

Hotel was clean and service was very friendly. Excellent place to stay of you are looking to be in the middle of all the restaurants, bars and galleries of Fells Point. For the price of a nights stay, you can't go wrong. Everything was a short walk or quick cab ride away from hotel. Room was not large but we don't spend much time in there. I will give […] this little bit of info: request that your room is not directly over front door of hotel. There is a sliding door that is active during the night. The noise it makes can be heard on the second floor room directly above it. It could drive some people crazy if you are a lite sleeper. Other than that, I will be staying there again. Mehr

Great location, great service, nice room

The only thing good about this hotel is the location & the bath products. I've never written a "bad" review & I stay in at least 2 hotels / month. The valet was no where to be found for 1/2 hour...we had to leave our car on the street with the threat of being towed. The advertised $10/day parking rate is not true & no one at the hotel could point us […] in the direction of the lot. The $9.95 "resort fee" is for nothing, no free wireless was available. Drink the water in your room, you paid for it, but no one tells you such. It was 90 degrees when we stayed there & the air conditioning in our room didn't work. We didn't realize until after 1:30 AM & didn't want to be bothered with switching rooms at that time. I would stay across the water @ Inner Harbor where there are plenty of nice hotels. Mehr
