Wer nicht viel Zeit hat und lieber am Strand als in der Stadt ist, der ist hier richtig. Zum Flughafen sind es nur 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Zimmer sind grosszügig und sauber. Das complimentary Breakfast ist in Ordnung, es gibt eine Auswahl an verschiedenen Bagles, frischen Saft und Kaffee.

Das Beach House in Hermosa liegt nur durch die Fussgängerpromenade vom Strand entfernt, sehr schön und wunderbar ruhig. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet, sehr sauber, mit Kitchenette, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle. Guter , schneller Room service durch benachbarte Restaurants. Frühstücksraum im Hotel eher karg, Frühstück […] basic, aber ok. Fitness und Jacuzzi sehr einfach, kein Wellness-Gefühl. Valet parking 23$/Tag + Tax. Beautiful hotel - right next to everything (dining, entertainment, beach activities, etc.) Really liked having a wet bar, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave and 2 burner stovetop in the room. They also had dishes, silverware, wine glasses and even a tea kettle! Bring your own drinks and snacks and enjoy the view from your balcony. The Beach House Hotel is beautiful. Lives up to the pictures. Free wifi & breakfast (continental) available. Friendly staff and comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Great location on the beach, walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay there again and again.

If you want fabulous rooms on a great beach, this is the place. It is much more affordable than the Santa Monica hotels.

We booked the ocean-view suite for my partner's birthday....it was nice but, not worth the money! The view was a direct view it was more of a side view of the ocean. Hotel overall, is very nice!

Comfortable, homey room with fireplace, kitchenette, all the supplies (glasses, plates, utensils) needed for cocktail hour or light dinner. Clean and neat with classy toiletries from Aveda and comfy bedding. Great location near the ocean and Hermosa Beach pier.

The Beach House never fails to please - great rooms and service.

So close to everything, walking distance. Beautiful view, romantic, has everything you want. The only thing that I didn't care for was the mattress. I have a bad back so it was too firm for my back, but it was great for my husband. But it had everything, so cute and adorable. This is going to be our yearly valentines get away

My husband and I loved it here. The location can't be beat. Walking distance to bars, the beach, waves crashing right outside our window! There is a lot to do here. The hotel was clean, and comfortable. I loved the bed and the linens. The fireplace in the room was AWESOME! We will definitely return.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. You don't need the beach front view to enjoy the location of the hotel. Our hotel stay contributed to a wonderful Christmas vacation.

What a great find. We were a family of 5 so had two adjoining rooms. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We were there just before Christmas so there were cookies and mulled wine waiting for us in the lobby. A nice touch. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is right on the beach so perfect for a stroll. Our stay included a continental breakfast […] in the morning which we could either have in the breakfast room or make up a tray for yourself and take back to your room. A great way to start the day, especially with children. Would highly recommend this hotel for families or couples. Will be staying here again when next in LA. Mehr

This hotel has it all - great location ( close to LAX and to the beautiful and somewhat unknown beaches), great staff, really nice and comfortable rooms. Basic breakfast but it gets the day going, good restaurants nearby and easy access to the rest of LA. Our third stay and we'll go back if we get to LA again.

We didn't pay full shot because we used our hotels.com thank you rewards so it was great. I'm not sure if we'd pay the price tag otherwise. It's a great hotel and a very nice room in a very good location but still, it's no 5 star resort as the cost would lead you to believe. Our room was clean and comfy but our view was of the windows of the hotel room […] across from us. I would suggest springing for at least the partial view. Mehr

We stayed in a standard room at the Beach House, with no ocean view. The room was spacious, clean and very quiet, so certainly met our needs. Breakfast provided was fine - cereals, pastries, bagels etc. The location of the hotel is excellent - right on the boardwalk and very close to a number of good restaurants, bars etc. Staff were always professional […] and friendly in any dealings we had with them. The only downside was the cost of parking for our rental car. $24 a night for our 10 night stay certainly added up quickly. However, due to lack of free parking options in the area, we had little choice re this charge. All in all an excellent place to stay in LA. Mehr

The bedroom TV and the phone (1 of 4) at the desk did not work. Those were the only issue's, the check-in clerk was obviously not having a good day but was marginally cordial. Everything thing else was excellent.

I have been by this hotel for years and never stayed. So this trip I decided to book a room. It was in the back, but very nice. Great location, nice staff. Liked it so much I am taking my family back for a vacation over the holidays.

My husband and I were looking for a getaway from the heat of Arizona. We chose the beach house because it advertised that it was a beach front property.....and it was!! Walked right out the door and we were steps away from the beach. The hotel is charming. The rooms are very beachy looking with lots of white woodwork and the bathrooms are pristine, […] shiny white. The room offers a separate sitting area with a couch, chair, and a large flat screen t.v. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. From the front desk to the housekeepers, everyone was very friendly. I recommend this hotel very highly. Mehr

From the moment we arrived until the very end everything was great. The front desk, valet and even the security people that patrol the perimeter of the hotel were all ready to do whatever they could to make our stay the best possible it could be. The rooms were clean and the rooms were left in tip top condition each day by the maids. The only beef I […] have is regarding the WiFi signal strength which was almost non-existent. Hooking up to the internet wirelessly felt like it did back in the day when it took twenty minutes to download a single photo. I don't know for sure but I think the rooms are hard wired and I would recommend bringing a cable for that purpose if you're bringing your laptop or iPad. But other than that...AWESOME! The views, sea air, quiet nights and perfect days just made this about as perfect as it could be. Also the continental breakfast was wonderful. Lots of very nice baked goods, fresh fruit, great coffee or tea, juices and milk. We will definitely be returning to this property. Mehr

Our only complaint is that the room and location are so good we didn't want to leave the location to go sight-seeing !! Awesome in every way if you enjoy the beach atmosphere and lifestyle; would recommend highly and will definitely stay again on our next trip to LA. Thanks also to the friendly and helpful staff.

Get the front ocean view suite! It is incredible watch the sunsets

The room was beautiful and the view of the beach was perfect. A boardwalk for walking, jogging, or riding the rental bikes was right in front of the hotel. There are sand volleyball courts in from of the hotel as well.

After a tiring travel day we were so delighted with the warm welcome, comfortable well-appointed room and the lovely views. We are keeping the Beach House in our travel portfolio for future stays,

The Ocean View room was awesome -- a get-away cottage near the LA megalopolis. Very conveninet to LAX.

My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. Extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We were however disapointed to find out that the only parking available at the hotel was valet, and it was $23 a day.

A Fantastic Hotel with absolutely nothing i could honestly complain of...No swimming Pool but a beautiful beach steps away...Great Staff...Good Valet parking for 23$ only.....Awesome Rooms and 1 of the best drives to Santa Monica along the Coast....Would repeat 200% if i visit LA and surroundings...

Loved, loved, loved this hotel. The staff were all wonderful. The room was clean and large. The patio was amazing for people watching on the Strand, which is right out the window. The breakfast was a little skimpy but adequate. Great proximity to beach, Strand and great restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

the feel and beach location made a short weekend to visit our girls in college seem like a mini vacation

We would highly recommend staying at the Beach House! You can't beat the location! We enjoyed skating and biking the strand each day. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. The hotel service was fabulous!

Seriously, this is the best hotel I've EVER stayed in - both business and personal. RIGHT on the beach and within 100 feet of the best food, nightlife, etc. Vollyball players warming up every morning on the beach. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The rooms are without question, THE BEST I've ever stayed in - that's over a dozen five star hotels […] and results I've stayed at for business conferences, awards, honeymoon, etc. It was really difficult to leave. After coming home, immediately began plans to take the family out to that exact spot. Well done! Mehr

This was more like an apartment then a room - really big bathroom, a separate sleeping area from the relaxation area and two flatscreen T.Vs. Lovely location right on the beach. Valet parking should be included in the price of the room - not extra.

This is just a great spot. Perfect room size and great location no matter what you like to do... Except ski :) close to the bar scene and good restaurants. The beach is right out the window. Be careful if you stay on the ground floor on the beach side... Noisy at night and early morning. Not good for hangovers. I would recommend this hotel highly. […] Stayed there many times. Mehr

The hotel was fantastic...very clean, upscale room. The service was wonderful and location is amazing. The only problem was the cable tv in the room...there are NO childrens channels and the pay per view menu had no kid's movies (plus the pay per view wasn't working). This was a huge problem at bedtime for the kids. Otherwise, the hotel is great.

This was the 2nd time I stayed at the Beach House Hotel for business. Wow. What a great place. The cost was very reasonable, and the room was very clean & comfortable. AND... You can't beat the location. I will no longer stay at the stale LAX hotels. This place is worth the visit.

This was one of 5 hotels during a coastal trip that lasted 3 weeks. It looked the nicest, but was the biggest disappointment in some ways. Though the hotel has a nice overall appearance and our room was very spacious, the service was lacking, and I'm not a very demanding guest. The woman at the front desk didn't even look at me when I was trying to […] check in. A colleague stepped in to complete the transaction. The housekeeping staff was not friendly and not very thorough, and the valet guy was so poorly dressed and mannered that I wasn't sure if he was a staff member or someone stealing my car! Breakfast was a super basic continental. It was fine but nothing to get excited about. Pros: nicely appointed and serenely decorated room with sitting area and fireplace, great location- on the beach and a block off the Hermosa Beach pier. Cons: Super noisy at night with people leaving the nearby bars, sub-par staff (very young and unsophisticated staff), expensive parking, not-so secure parking. I literally lost sleep wondering if I would ever see my car again between the sketchy valet staff and the drunken party-ers. Other stuff: Free wireless was very slow and the movie selection was bare bones. If you're looking for luxurious room service, this is not the place either. This place looks pretty nice, but when you get down to it, it does not meet expectations. I would only recommend it because there is not much else to choose from in that specific area.
