Travelodge Abbott Villa - Kelowna

The room was good size and comfortable but definitely a little tired. The location is excellent to get to the waterfront, shops and restaurants in Kelowna. Excellent full breakfast included. A little paintjob and some updated decor would go a long way but overall good value for the price

we have stayed here before and were satisfied but this time were stuck in a shoe box size room not very comfortable is this the type of room we can expect when we book through hotels.com

We were looking for a hotel at a reasonable cost for a couple days away. And we needed one that accepted dogs. The reviews on this place were quite variable, but it seemed centrally located, so we took a chance. The building itself looks a little dated, as was the decor in the rooms- but they were functional and apart from the tub, reasonably clean. Location-wise, […] it's not badly situated. Across the street from a large park on Okanagan Lake, so easy to get the dog out to stretch her legs. As for the immediate neighbourhood, a block to the south was a bit dodgy- what appeared to be a shelter for the local homeless population, with a frequent police presence. A block to the north was a pleasant row of shops and restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. Had we been dog-free, we would have stayed elsewhere, but with the beast along for the ride, it was a reasonable place to stay (dogs are $20 additional per night) Mehr

Our visit was a quick overnight stay and the location was what attracted us to it. It's right across from the city park and marina and within walking distance to a good variety of restaurants, pubs, and family-oriented delights (ie: ice-cream and coffee spots, etc). The room was clean and quiet (the bathroom fan was noisy--our ONLY complaint). The breakfast […] included the usual staples... coffee, juice, bagels and toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt and eggs--exactly what we like when we're travelling. The reason for our trip to was medical and the hotel was max 5 to ten mins drive to the hospital and clinic--easy! Mehr

Rita and her staff were very friendly and helpful to assist us with our itinerary. The location of this hotel is perfect for those that want to park the car and walk everywhere!! The cozy rooftop patio, which we dubbed "Sleepybear Lounge" was wonderful to enjoy a late evening beverage before retiring for the night! We will be back to enjoy all that […] Kelowna has to offer!! The location is perfect: right across the street from City Park and walking distance to waterfront and all downtown amenities. We had trouble gettting our room cleaned a couple days, and the pool is really small and shallow. But there's a nice sundeck area. It's just too bad there's smoking allowed there. Overall, not bad. We normally stay at 3 or 4 star hotels so booking a 2 star was a bit of a concern. When we pulled up to the hotel I was wondering what this would be like as the first impression was less than what we might have hoped for. But the room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs. And with City Park on the water front […] and all the walkways and shops near by - the setting was delightful. So we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a great location, right by the beach. Standard quality rooms, nothing fancy. Housekeeping was lacking - our room wasn't cleaned for 2 of the 3 days we were there. Overall, a good location and a good price.

The people who run this hotel should be fired. They are racist and stereotypical. They yell at you when they know they are wrong and have no answer. I am going to be taking my complaint to head office but just for everyone else DONT STAY HERE. Also the hotel isnt very nice anyways.

BEEN HERE MANY TIMES. iT'S ALWAYS GREAT! EXCELLENT LOCATION, AND THOUGHTFUL HOSTS. GREAT BREAKFAST - EXCELLENT SERVER. WE'LL BE BACK!

This is the first time I stayed in Travellodge and I must say that the staff is rude... I would like to give state some good and bad incidents here... 1. We arrived at the hotel at 4 PM and we parking lot was kind of full (first come first park) and most of the people parked their TRUCKS in two stalls for no reason... (One stall is good enough for […] one truck)... so when I went to hotel staff for check in I mentioned about it... old lady's reply was I am too busy to find driver... (chill lady I am not asking you to hunt them down but complaining about inconvenience it caused to me and others) 2. Room numbers are weird... they have 302 etc on ground floor... that's their headache... so just leave it there.. 3. I went in our room and ewww room was stinking so bad with cigarette smoke... (hotel is supposed to be non smoking)... I went back and mentioned about it... now GOOD thing is the same old lady upgraded me to family room with DVD player and all sleepy Bear beadsheets... Kids were happy to be in that room. 4. Continental Breakfast was not great but nothing to complain about.... 5. I will still recommend this hotel due to it's location in Kelowna. It's so in heart of Kelowna town. If you ever been in Kelowna you will find car parking and walk to this 'so called' beach... this hotel is right beside it... so surely will recommend it. So that you can keep your car parked in hotel and can just cross the road and goto fun place. I hope this review is helpful to you... Mehr
