I would not recommend coming to this hotel. The bathroom sink was falling off the wall. The wallpaper was peeling and stained. Had to wait 10 minutes in the lobby until someone came to the desk to check us in. I have stayed at other comfort suites and enjoyed the experience, but I would never come back to this location.

This is my third stay at this hotel in 4 years and though it is presently being renovated, it is still an excellent value. The breakfast is a full breakfast and not just cereal, muffens, toast, juice and coffee. I plan to stay here again.

It should have tipped me off when the desk clerk couldn't stop answering my traveling companions in a snotty way. We had some basic questions about shuttles to the Mohegan Sun casino and about why we were being asked to sign a rate disclosure form with no rates filled in. Shouldn't really have gotten us the snarky answers we did get. The rooms were […] in poor repair. We saw dark marks on the walls where there was clearly some recent water damage - I'd guess they were mold. In two rooms that I saw, nobody bothered installing a doorstop. Just soft plastic disks stuck over the worst spackling job you've ever seen. The sink in our bathroom was pulled out of the countertop and was being held in place by the plumbing. Thankfully, we booked the rooms only because we needed a cheap place to stay while seeing a concert at the nearby casino. If I had been traveling on business and had stayed there, I would have had serious complaints. Mehr

the hotel was very clean the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, very professional and very polite. Check in and out was quick and easy. The location is great if you want to go to Mohegan Sun or Foxwood. I would stay there again.

We did not spend much time in the room as our visit was to Mohegan Sun, however, room was shabby in need of renovation. Wallpaper was peeling and comforter needed ironing. But van service to Mohegan is great.

I went on the weekend for a Romantic getaway for Valentine's Day and I was not properly accomadated the 1st room we checked into the room wasn't cleaned and the linen was not changed on the 5th flr. it was suppose to be the newly renavated flr. NOT. The 2nd room me and my husband we put did not have the jaquzzi tube in it and we couldn't be upgraded […] or changed because the rooms were full and I felt like because we didn't have a membership and we paid for it on hotels.com that is the reason we weren't properly accomadated. I will never go back again not at that particul location by by Mohegan Sun Resorts ever again. Mehr

The hotel itself was fine, relatively clean and comfortable. However, be wary of the shuttle to the casino. They told us to call when we were ready to go to make sure they sent the shuttle (it kind of runs every hour). We called at 1:30 for the 2:20 shuttle and were told it was full, even though we told them ahead of time that we would probably come […] back on the last shuttle. Took a $24 cab ride instead. When we got back we saw some other guests who told us they were on the last shuttle and that there were only 4 people on it, not full at all. That was the main reason we chose this hotel! First off I was told check in was 3pm. No problem with this but I called the night before and asked if I could check in early. They said hotel fairly empty call in am but shouldn't be a problem. Called around 11 and they told me hotel full last night must check in at 3 pm. How does that make sense? Ok so I get to the hotel at 3 pm expecting to go right […] up to my room. Step in the lobby and there are 20 people waiting for rooms. No rooms were cleaned by 3pm? What a joke. Wouldn't recommend this hotel or stay here again. Mehr

Glad we stayed here. Less than 10 minutes from Mohegan where we had concert tickets. Easy access from the interstate. Very comfortable room, delicious breakfast. Would stay here again.

Everything was clean and the hotel employees were friendly. The breakfast they offered was OK. The shuttle service was on time and a great convenience to get to mohegan sun casino. Location is excellent. Service was sub par at best. Slow counter help also rude. Stayed before and enjoyed. This stay made me want to stay somewhere else next time.

Parking could have been a little better. At night couldn't find parking due to all the utility trucks taking up 2 spots.

The Hotel staff were very nice and polite,The Hotel is very nice it just need better up keep and Flat screen telvision. We are in the 21st Century. Oh by the way you should servr bacon, homefries, and grits also. ThankYou so much. I will rent again in the future.

Enjoyed our stay here everyone was friendly and helpful!

Hotel is great but asked for a 1 rm suite it was a medium size rm alittle cramped.

The continental breakfast room didn't have enough seating and the food wasn't replenished too quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle to the casino worked out great. I would stay there again.

The hotel is well maintained and pretty. The bed is about the most comfortable one I've ever slept in. That being said, I'm not sure if their site informs you of a few things. We chose this hotel and paid twice what we would have paid at another for a few amenities. The shuttle, but that stops returning at 10:20 Hmmm, I think that's pretty early. The […] lounge is only open till midnight (but I guess that's ok if you shuttle back at 10:20) And the breakfast is only served from 6-9. When I mentioned the early return on the shuttle, she offered me a card from a local cab company. It's $18 for the cab ride, she tells me. Clearly it's a problem for others as well. The rooms are nice, big and comfortable. If you are not looking for any of the things I mentioned, then it's a great place to stay. Mehr

The hotel was right off the highway and very easy to get to and from Mohegan Sun Casino. The breakfast was great, had quite a variey of breakfast foods. Service was good. Hotel rooms were spacious. I like that there was a couch to st on as opposed to only chairs. Bathroom tile was a bit worn, but overall a good place to stay. Good value for the money […] paid. Mehr

the hotel was great...the bed was possibly the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in...but....we booked this particular hotel because it advertised a shuttle to the mohegan sun casino...when we got there we were told that the last trip back to the hotel was at 10:20 pm.....who wants to come back that early????? then another plus about the hotel […] was that there was a bar on the premisis....well that closed at midnight.....really????? a bar closing that early???? those are my only complaints...the room was wonderful.....the people were wonderful..,..maybe they should advertise the times that the shuttle runs, and the time the bar closes so people wont get disappointed after they check in--like we were!!! I would reccomend this place in a heart beat. Our shuttle driver Al was wonderful and attentive. The staff at the desk were helpful and courtious. My only complaint was that the ice machines on 2 floors were out of order and that the spa jaccouise was also not operable.

This is in need of a major reno! Hot tub doesn't work. Don't go for that! Phone didn't work and was never fixed during our stay! somebody's toenail and other disgusting dirt around nightstand peeling wallpaper with mold in shower hair stuck to shower wall just ewwwww!

I was just there for a quick overnight but the front desk staff was helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only wish is that I would like to have been able to open the window. If I'm ever in the area again I would go back.

Went to Mohegan for the night for the NKOTBSB concert and defientely didn't want to pay the $600/night Mohegan was asking for that day. The free shuttle only took about fifteen minutes and they gave us some free coupons for taking the shuttle. The room was very large and clean and the front desk attendant was extremely friendly and kind. The price was […] excellent, especially sharing it between friends made it the price of a hotel in a town that doesn't have such great attractions surrounding it. The shuttle doesn't run very late, but the hotel gives you the business card to a local taxi service that charges a flat rate of $18 to get back to the hotel, which is definetely reasonable. I would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Mohegan and not pay their hotel prices at the casino. Mehr

Convinient location to Casino and very good breakfast

This hotel is out of the way for business in New Haven/Hartford, but worth the drive to get away from the city. Affordable, has a bar on location which is draws a friendly local crowd, 10 minutes from Mohegan Sun and a staff that makes you feel welcome. I stayed there twice and will return.

Inexpensive hotel if you need a place to stay over near Mohegan. They have a van that run frequently, although the driver was very rude. Room was no frills...it did for the small amount of time we were in it. Nohing fancy at all. Breakfast was just ok. Staff more interested in smoking than serving. Eggs weren't ready....spills not cleaned up. Ok hotel […] just to crash. Mehr

Don't be fooled by the phrase suites or the pictures. These are one room with a bunch of beds. The breakfast was good and the service was great.

The pool was broken, the kids where really upset that is why we booked this hotel.

Quite location but hard to find when coming from northeast down I395. Good breakfast. Nice size room. Good value.

The hotel was booked the night we were there and the night before. We arrived for check-in on time at 3:00, waited in line until 3:30 to check in and then our room was not ready until 4:00.

This is a well run, friendly hotel tucked away in a quiet setting. Nice place to stay when passing through and or going to Mohegan Sun casino.

Old tv, few channels, poor shower, lobby furniture smelly, stained... for the price, it's not a good value., maybe for 60% off i would stay again...

Overall we were happy with the stay. It was easy to get to. Room was clean, staff was friendly. I gave the condition of the hotel a 4 only because in the bathroom it has a massage shower head but it didn't work. It was stuck on the one setting. Not a big deal. The breakfast was ok, simple continental breakfast. Coffee was good. We would stay there  […] again. Mehr

I had to make an unplanned overnight visit to Norwich, Ct., and found this hotel on line. Price was reasonable, people were friendly, and room was clean. Quiet as a church all night. Reasonable continental breakfast next A.M. Coffee excellent.
