Lage und Service des Hotels haben uns sehr überzeugt. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr ansprechend aufgemacht und eingerichtet. Leider gab es einige Kleinigkeiten, die zum Punktabzug führten, wie z. B. alte Spinnweben am Fenster im Treppenaufgang, schimmelige Fugen im Bad, sich lösendes Furnier an der Badewannenverkleidung. Ansonsten wirkte das Haus und Zimmer schon sauber. Das Bad war etwas eng und unser Zimmer wäre besser eingerichtet gewesen, hätte es nur ein Kingsize-Bett gehabt und nicht noch ein weiteres Bett, dass mit in die Nische gequetscht wurde. So hätte man an beiden Seiten Platz für einen Nachttisch gehabt und man hätte von beiden Seiten Zugang zur jeweiligen Bettseite gehabt und man hätte nicht eine Betthälfte übers Fußende betreten/verlassen müssen. Die Einrichtung war allerdings sehr gemütlich und ansprechend. Passte zum Stil des Hauses. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer (Nr. 209) mit 2 Fensterfronten hofseitig und damit sehr ruhig; nach Rückdrehen der Heizung war auch das Zimmerklima angenehm, wenig Hellhörigkeit (wobei möglichlicherweise das Nachbarzimmer nicht belegt war) aber Zimmertüren fielen laut zu wenn man nicht händisch abfedert. In unserem Stock gab es nur eine Terrasse vor dem Zimmer, konnten wir aber nicht nutzen, da vom Zimmer her nur ausklappbare Fenster waren. In unserer Rate war Full Irish Breakfast inkludiert. Unser Zimmer wurde immer erst am Nachmittag gesäubert, da wir ohnehin unterwegs waren, nicht das große Problem. In Hotelnähe gibt ein paar Fastfoodläden, einen Supermarkt sowie Lidl und die Luas-Line, mit der man in ca. 40 Minuten ins Zentrum fahren kann, sonst nicht so umfangreiche Infrastruktur, aber wir hatten ein Mietauto und die Hotelgarage war für Gäste gratis. Im Hotel gibt es auch ein Fitnessstudio sowie Schwimmbad - haben wir nicht genutzt (Badehaubenpflicht, kann vor Ort gekauft werden) - ist aber auch öffentlich zugänglich. Restaurant haben wir abends nur für Drinks genutzt. Samstags wurde eine Geburtstagsparty abgehalten, obwohl nur 1 Stock unterhalb haben zumindest wir nichts mitbekommen, unser Zimmer war aber auch am Ende des Ganges. Personal sehr hilfsbereit (hatten Waren in den Hotelkühlschrank einlagern lassen und konnten die Bordkarten beim Internetdrucker nicht ausdrucken, so hat das die Receptionistin auf unsere Rückfrage hin für uns übernommen). Wir können aufgrund unserer Erfahrung das Hotel nur empfehlen und werden selbst auch wieder hinfahren.

Das Hotel ist ideal. Es ist super sauber, eine Nespressomaschine steht auf dem Zimmer, die S-Bahn fährt direkt hinter dem Block und der Flughafenbus hält direkt vor dem Hotel. Bis zur Grafton Street sind es gute 10 Minuten zu Fuß und zur O'Connell und Henry Street knapp 10 Minuten. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und frisch. Gute Auswahl, für jeden etwas dabei.

Liegt direkt neben der "Jameson Distillery" und man kann zu Fuß die meisten Sehenswüdigkeiten erreichen.Es gibt ein einfaches aber günstiges Frühstück. Zimmer und Personal kann man lobend erwähnen.

Lage

Diese kleine Enklave am Fluss entwickelte sich in den 1980er Jahren zum Kulturviertel von Dublin und wurde daraufhin auch schnell zum Zentrum des Dubliner Nachtlebens. Die Straße Temple Bar ist auch heute noch bekannt für ihre Gastronomie-, Unterhaltungs- und Einkaufsangebote. Während die Straße am Tag ein künstlerisch wirkender alternativer Treffpunkt ist, verwandeln Gruppen von feiernden Touristen sie nachts in einen relativ lauten Ort. In der Nähe der berühmten Halfpenny Bridge vermittelt der Merchants' Arch immer noch ein wenig von der vor einhundert Jahren herrschenden Atmosphäre.

"Personal gläntzt druch Abwesenheit & stoische Ruhe"
Die Dame am Check In nahm uns die Ausweise ab und händigte uns einen Schlüssel fürs Parking aus. Es gab keine Erklärung, wie wir zum Parkplatz finden sollten - alles Einbahn, also gar nicht so einfach. Nach dem parken des Autos war die Dame verschwunden und die Putzfrau gab uns unseren Schlüssel, sprach aber leider nur kroatisch und Informationen über […] irgendetwas ausser der Raumnummer, die auf der Karte stand bekam wir nicht. Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung, wobei der Akt an der Wand etwas fragwürdig erschien. Das Auscheckin glich dem einchecken und wir warteten geschlagene 30 Minuten dafür, obwohl nur ein Gast vor uns auscheckte und drei Herren nichts zu tun hatten. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt mitten im lebhaftesten Teil der Stadt, in Temple Bar. "Das Morgan liegt im Zentrum von Temple Bar"
Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Es liegt inmitten von Temple Bar, wo unzählige Bars und Pubs sind. Das Personal war freundlich. Jedoch hat unser Fernseher im Hotelzimmer nicht funktioniert. Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gefallen.

Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, tolle Lage, ideal für einen Kurztrip da alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Ich wurde in ein Superior Zimmer "upgraded", hatte in einem Hotel selten ein so bequemes Bett und hatte auf Wunsch ein ruhiges Zimmer auf der Rückseite des Hotels. "Morgan Hotel - temple bar area Dublin"
The hotel has a great location, no doubt about it. The rooms were clean, but definitely not luxurious, they had basically futons for beds. The bathroom was clean. If you are a young, 21-24 year old looking for a great place to party - book here. But, if you are traveling with a family, adults on a weekend getaway, or traveling for any other reason than […] to have a hotel frat party, do not stay at this hotel. The music from the lobby bar permeated the entire hotel until 2:30 am, proceeded by loud young adults fumbling back to their rooms. Perhaps this only happens on the weekends - I wouldnt know. The couple we traveled with had to change their room twice because of the noise - but the staff was good about doing their best to try to accommodate them - kudos to the staff for that. We were told that parking could be validated if we paid at the hotel. But, we paid at the hotel and STILL had to pay at the parking garage. It was all wrong - but we didnt bother to go back. The frustration was too high and we were just happy to leave the Morgan behind and move on with our trip. I do not know how it got a 4 star review. Mehr

"Great location for...."
This is a very nice hotel right in the middle of dublins nightlife. Not really suitable for family's as it's pretty noisy until late but perfect for anyone who's looking for a night out.

"The Morgan"
Nice clean rooms, fresh and modern. Simple things done well, I needed non-feather pillows and the night staff did it while i was out. No drama, no hassel. Made the stay more enjoyable. Alan and Karoline were excellent at reception. warm, friendly and professional.
"Great location, great hotel but can be very noisey"
Fantasic hotel as far as staff, location, room and I can honestly one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in the world over! The reception staff were incredibly helpful especially on arrival when we were quite early. Always polite and nice and chatty. My only gripe, which wasn't off huge concern for us as we were away for an upbeat holiday was […] that there was no warning at all about the hotel bar turning into what is more like a club on a Friday and Saturday night. We were on the first floor just above the bar courtyard and the music, noise etc was incredibly loud. We happily decided if we can't sleep through the noise lets go down and dance the night away but for many this would be a sticking point and for us we would have preferred the choice. I would definitely stay here again even with the above comments I would just request a quieter room if I was staying over a weekend in case I wanted to sleep before 3am. Mehr
"Lively place & nice room"
We were there for two nights at New Years eve and we found the hotel to be great for us. Nice big room and comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Located about 50 steps from all the life in Temple Bar. The nightclub in hotel is quite trendy and seems to attract a lot of young and posh acting people:-) If I need to point my finger on anything it would […] have to be that there should be free Wifi. Sweet hotel with a fantastic location. Really nice staff and good facility. Would highly recommend. Only complaint, bar drinks expensive, but otherwise top notch.
Rooms are a bit small, but other than that it was lovely. The hotel staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.
"Great weekend in Dublin aided by this location"
We were late to arrive on a Friday evening, but received a warm welcome and quiet room at the back of the hotel, though the club was closing by the time we got back from live music on the square. Anyway, a great hotel, with a superb location for living it up in Templebar. My wife slipped off a kerb and tore a ligament in her ankle. Dave on reception […] was brilliant, rushing us a bag of ice and even digging us a crutch out from lost & found! Thank you! As a result of her injury, I'm also able to say that the room service was superb, though I can't see many people going to Templebar and staying in for room service. Drinks are expensive in the hotel club, but only as much as everywhere else in the city centre. Can't wait to go back for more Guinness & more craic! Jon & Zoe M. Mehr

The hotel bar turns into a nightclub at night. In addition to loud music, there were drunk loud people roaming the halls early in the morning. While the rooms weren't bad and the staff was very friendly, the loud noise made it very difficult to sleep and be comfortable.

My husband and I are travelling on our honeymoon and found the Morgan spectacular for our expectations. It was very reasonably priced for the position and quality of service. The staff were the highlight of the stay, both Karolina at check-in and Marie on the evening with information on food & beverage of the area. The location is one of the reasons that I chose this hotel but when we saw the room we were thrilled! The price was great for such a nice place and I will definetely visit the hotel's restaurant on our next visit!

The Morgan is right in the middle of Temple Bar and a short walk to Trinity College, Grafton Street, the O'Connell Street Bridge, and tons of other sites in the middle of the city. Just be warned that the Morgan is also home to one of the only real nightclubs in Dublin. When the traditional Irish pubs are closing down, the Morgan is still going. The […] Morgan Bar takes over the lobby as well and the sound will travel up to your third floor room. Plan on hanging out at the Morgan Bar until it closes down at 2:30am or make sure you bring some earplugs. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. In the early morning hours when not a single cafe was open, someone at the Morgan would appear with much needed coffee. I didn't like my room - the too small bathroom was constantly flooded from the shower. The staff moved me to a different room for the rest of my stay and everything in the new room was just great. I had an excellent stay in The Morgan, fantastic hotel and the friendliest staff. Beautiful room, excellent facilities. Great bar with a super cocktail menu and great to watch the bar staff in action mixing up all kinds of drinks behind the bar. Can't wait to go back.

"The Morgan - only stylish hotel in Temple Bar"
If you're looking to stay in Temple Bar this hotel is ideal. Rooms are stylish but getting slightly frayed around the edges. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a good bar to start off your night.

Hotel has seen better days, rooms are small and well worn. Lots a small things damaged or broken. But the worst is the noise, we stayed on a wednesday night and were kept awake until 2am. rooms have no sound insulation. If you want a party hotel and dont mind not sleeping too much then stay here.

Hotel has a great location, and is handy for all areas in Dublin. However, if you get a room at the front of the hotel, noise from outside can be a distraction late at night.

Very funky hotel located in the heart of the party district. Surrounded by some very cool bars but has a great one of its own too. Interier very modern with a groovy edge. Room was great and bed very comfortable. Was a little noisy outside because you can here people partying but if you're there for a night out its perfect. Would stay there again […] and recommend. Eclectic hotel in a great location. Very comfortable with very helpful staff. Parking ramp right across the street (parking is an important consideration in Dublin). Right in the heart of the Temple Bar area.

I've stayed here many times, and it is my preferred hotel in Dublin. Yes it is very loud well into the night on the weekends, as it is in Temple Bar. But during the week it is great. Clean, fashionable, good service, reasonable price, outstanding location.

In a bit of a tourist trap area but dead center in the city. The room was one of our nicest yet. WiFi was not included in my room but the reception girl hooked it up for me if I had my beer in the lounge. The lounge was cool and had good staff but the corporate lounge music gets just a bit painfull after about 20 min. Overall I will definitely stay […] there again next time through Dublin. Mehr

I travel to Dublin quite regularly and this is the first hotel I have stayed in that I would return to. The staff are amazing and really go out of their way to help you. The rooms are a great size and very comfortable. It is in a very central location in Temple Bar. I am looking forward to staying there again.

Great location in Temple Bar. Modern, good sized rooms at a decent price. The only drawback would be the music and noise from the lounge on Saturday night. If you were thinking of going to bed early, forget it. If you were planning on going out late anyway, no problem

I stayed in the Morgan hotel last weekend with my boyfriend for his birthday. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city and despite the fact that you are in the middle of temple bar our sleep was not disturbed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I look forward to staying in this hotel again.

Myself and my partner stayed at The Morgan In Dublin last saturday, we only live 10km from the hotel but decided to treat ourselves. We regularly go to the bar there for cocktails on the weekend. On arrival we were offered an upgrade at an excellent rate. The girl on reception, cannot remember her name(she had fab prada glasses tho!) was so helpful, […] friendly and chatty. Our room was very impressive No: 222. It was a little noisy late at night as it was on the 2nd floor but that didnt bother me as we had such a wonderful evening in the bar people watching!!! we met and chatted to some great characters !.we both agreed that we would treat ourselves to more nights at The Morgan in future!!x Jayne Mehr

We are pleasantly surprised how trendy this hotel was, very friendly good service just loved the room. Breakfast was all you could wish for and well presented. Yes, we would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin it was so central to everything, I wish we had stayed here on previous visits to Dublin.
