"Leicht in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 22. Feb. 2013Die Zimmer sind leicht in die Jahre gekommen, hier würde eine kleine Rennovierung gut tun. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das Zimmer angenehm eingerichtet und sauber gewesen. Die Strecke nach Miami war mir persönlich zu weit, ansonsten war die Lage ganz angenehm. Ein Auto ist bei diesem Hotel trotzdem Pflicht.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 20. Feb. 2013Das Hotel ist ca 15 Minuten Gehweg vom Trubel entfernt. ( Clubs-Bars-Restaurants-etc).Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr die neusten aber dennoch sehr gemütlich. Was mir nicht so gefallen hat , ist das sich die Fenster nicht öffnen lassen. Da hat mann ein Atemberaubenden Ausblick aufs Meer aber leider keine frische Luft.( Nur Klimaanlage). Das Hauspersonal ist super freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das Houskeeping ist leider immer erst ab 16 Uhr erledigt. Und wenn mann laute Nachbarn hat hört mann alles mit, da die Zimmer nur durch eine dünne Tür getrennt sind. Aber mann ist ja im Urlaub. Alles im allem kann ich das Hotel weiter empfehlen für die,die keine frische Luft im Zimmer als Manko empfinden.

Abends kann man an einer Feuerstelle sehr schön draußen sitzen. Nette Poolanlage. Die direkte Lage am Flughafen eignet sich besonders für Geschäftsreisen und als Start- oder Abflugsdomizil. (Urlaub möchte man lieber am Strand machen.)

Gesamturteil: Gut; Zimmer sauber und schön; immer 2x0,5l Flaschen Wasser tgl. auf dem Zimmer, guter und freundlicher Service: WiFi ging 2 Tage nicht - auf Nachfrage konnte ich dann das WiFi vom Hotel nebenan nutzen; Hilfreiche Auskunft bzgl. Airport-Shuttle Bus; gerade Renovierung im EG (Staub-Lärmbelästigung tagsüber...aber da ist man ja unterwegs); […] Einziges minus: Frühstück - alles im Pappbecher und Plastikbesteck. Frühstück ein wenig dürftig für die Preiskategorie: bestand aus Grapefruit, Melone, Obstsalat (nicht gut), Yoghurt, Marmelade (Gelee-sehr süß kaum Fruchtgehalt), Honig, Bagels, Toast, Frischkäse, Eier. Umgebung: TOP. Art Deco Viertel, Strand Nähe, Ocean Drive ....da es parallel zum Ocean Drive liegt ist es hier nachts ruhig !!! Nettes Art-Deco-Hotel, daher schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, mit leicht schiefem Fußboden im Raum, trotzdem aber gut bewohnbar. Für ein Deluxe-Zimmer mit King-Bett etwas klein für den Preis, aber für die Lage in direkter Nähe zum Ocean-Drive noch angemessen. Zimmer sauber und täglich neue Handtücher. Das mitgebuchte amek. Frühstück kann man vergessen, […] allenfalls das Obst ist zu empfehlen. Gute Möglichkeiten zum Frühstück für kleines Geld sind in unmittelbarer Nähe aber zahlreich vorhanden. "Gerne wieder"
Lage ist gut, 3 Minuten vom Ocean Drive und dem Strand entfernt. Zur Lincoln Road Mall sind es ca. 20 min. Frühstück ist echt gut für die Preislage. Frisches Obst (Äpfel, Grapefriut, Ananas) Joghurt, Toast, Marmelade, Frischkäse, frische Waffel, Säfte, Kaffee kann man auch auf der Terrasse im gemütlichen Hinterhof einnehmen wo der (Mini-) Pool ist. Zimmer […] ist klein aber ordentlich, gut ausgestattet (leider kein Kühlschrank). Aber in Miami ist man eh meistens nicht im Zimmer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Werde wieder hierher kommen. Einziger Nachteil ist der fehlende Parkplatz. Entweder parkt man auf der Straße und wirft immer wieder Geld in die Parkuhr oder man nimmt das Parkhaus einen Block weiter, kostet allerdings auch gleich wieder 24 USD die Nacht... Das Bluemoon liegt im Epizentrum von SoBe; alle attrakiven Ziele in SoBe können fußläufig erreicht werden. Der Service ist zufriedenstellend und schnell; das Frühstück ist sehr dürftig und unser Zmmer war dunkel und muffig (Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden da das Zimmer im EG lag). "Nichts Besonderes, aber Top-Lage"
Das kleine Hotel ist wirklich perfekt gelegen. Nah genug an Washington Ave und am Ocean Drive, aber doch weit genug weg, um in Ruhe schlafen zu können. Die Zimmer sind okay, das Personal sehr freundlich - wir erhielten sogar nach dem Check-In nen Anruf von der Rezeption, ob alles in Ordnung ist, wow. Leider sind derzeit massive Umbauten im Gange (Juli […] 2012), sodass Lobby, Frühstücksraum, Pool und Co nur bedingt attraktiv sind! Der Pool ist aber ohnehin ein schlechter Scherz. The hotel is situated very good, only a three minute walk from Ocean Drive and the beach. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were new, very clean and nice. The service personnel was very friendly and helped with lugage and any questions I had. The only draw back was that the pool wasn't open. "Blue Moon zentral gelegen in Miami Beach"
Das Hotel liegt zentral in Miami Beach, leider ist es schwierig ein PP zu finden, vor allem am Wochenende. Das Zimmer war okay die Matratzen leider zu weich. Der Swimming Pool ist vorhanden doch muss man den mit der Lupe danach suchen:-). Man kann ja ans Meer gehen um zu baden, ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuss. Frühstück ist Verbesserungsfahig (Kontinental […] Breakfast). Es gibt aber in der Nähe gute Frühstücksrestaurants. Im grossen und ganzen ist das Blue Moon ein empfehlenswertes Hotel MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Threw a friend's bachelorette at this hotel and they were fantastic! Sent up free champagne, set up a private dinner outside the pool for us, upgraded one of our rooms to a suite for no extra charge! It was fantastic experience. They were so willing to help with everything and really just did their best to make our life easier and the party more fun! The Blue Moon is a beautiful art deco boutique hotel in the heart of South Beach. This hotel was just renovated 6 months ago, and the decor is beautiful. Very calm, beachy, modern touches with elegant finishes. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was super comfy (and I am really picky!). Great location just 1 block off Ocean drive (walk to beach […] in just minutes). Central to all bars and restaurants and great shopping! The food at the restaurant was great! But the restaurant wait staff were flaky. They needed lots of reminders of what we ordered, and we sometimes had 2-3 people serve us at the same time (one would take our order, and then another one would ask for our order again). Had to request beverages, utensils, or ask for something several times. Overall felt like the staff was very young, lacked experience, and there was no oversight/management that helped with training or consistent customer service. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day and it was very good.Had drinks in the bar every evening and had good service sometimes, and total lack of service other times. Room was tiny and felt clautrophobic. Couldn't relax in the room. View of hotel/building next door and they could see directly in our room. Kept blinds closed the whole time. But Very quiet at night. No noise from street. his could be a 5 star hotel with the amenities, and the location. Management needs to improve overall customer service in the restaurant, bar. I would stay here again. "Quiet, Modern, Clean, great location"
We really liked the Blue Moon hotel. We kept our expectations low going in and were very surprised at how nice it was. Classic outside but modern and new in the rooms. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than any hotel I've stayed in. We were also really surprised at how quiet it was -- there was normal nightlife noise until about 10:00 but after […] that the noises outside our room were silent, well into late morning. The location also turned out to be a real plus. It's only a block from the beach and Ocean Drive restaurants, and an easy walk to Espanola Way and Lincoln Road. The staff was exceedingly friendly, greeting us coming and going. The only negatives were lack of a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room, but that wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay at the Blue Moon again. Oh, forgot to mention that they have a restaurant in the hotel. It was a very nice place but the restaurant staff seemed to be um, having an off day when we tried them for breakfast, so as a result we never went back. Hotel was very reasonably priced for the area and very well maintained. Very close to everything. The hotel needs a proper Concierge, the front desk staff is too busy to really assist. The staff was very nice & helpful Expedia charged us for 4 rooms instead of 2 & the front desk staff took care of it right away. There are always snacks (bottled water fruits & granola bars) available. The breakfast (included) was great, free wifi, great location on Collins aways from the madness/action on Ocean but close enough to get to the action […] about a 2min walk away. The rooms are a little small but clean & comfortable. Some remodeling was done and apparently they are not completely done but overall Blue Moon is a great value. I would definately stay there again.
