Miramonte Resort and Spa- Destination Hotels & Resorts - Indian Wells

Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage. Die Zimmer Rochen aber sehr streng. Gewöhnungsbedürftig. Pool und alles andere, aber mind. 4 Sterne. Der Flur vor den Zimmern roch auch sehr streng.

Alles von A-Z war super, es gab nichts auszusetzen

Also ich bin in den letzten Jharen sehr viel durch Hotels gekommen. Und habe auch viele Hotels in der USA besucht. Und ich muss einfach nur sagen dieses Hotel und dieser Aufenthalt war bisher das beste was mir seit vielen jahren untergekommen ist. Mir fehlen hier dazu die richtigen Worte.

Great Hotel, close to everything

First time we have ever stayed in Palm Springs. Indian Wells is beautiful. Resort was very nice, clean and staff was very helpful. Kids had a great time in the pool. It was a little cold for being a year round heated pool, but none the less, the kids had a great time. Room was very big, bathroooms were very nice. I enjoyed having the extra sink outside […] the bathroom so we could get ready and still be in the shower. Rate was very nice thanks to Hotels.com. We will be coming back for sure in the near future. Very relaxing upscale resort. I've stayed twice and cant seem to want to stay anywhere else when i am in town.

We enjoyed our stay. The facility has been very well maintained. Food excellent and friendly staff.

This is our 5th or 6th stay at the Miramonte and we are always impressed and satisfied with the beauty and service and location . It is close to golf, great eateries, El Paseo..... The staff is very accomodating and the service is great..... Would highly recommend to any/all for a great relaxing get away

First and foremost the property location is fantastic, when you first arrive you are greeted by a staff that doesn't appear happy to work their. When we arrived to our room we were disappointed in it's overall condition, having to jiggle the toilet handle after every flush didn't help. The iron was in terrible condition, the hair dryer did not work. […] The coffee maker was located under the Television and looked as if it had beed wiped out with a very lint filled towel. The television suffered from a glitch that caused the volume to increase and decrease at random when the children would watch television. I booked the hotel for a family of four with two children and they placed us next to a pool (nice bonus?) no, because it was the adults only pool which required the kids to walk up to the front of the property to enjoy a swim. The restaurant was very nice however there was no convenient way to get a coffee. Every morning I was forced to stand in front of the host podium and wait for a server to bring me a coffee. And then I had to wait longer for the server to tender my check, very inconvenient. Would have brewed my own coffee with the coffee machine wasn't so lint filled. When I went to check out I had a question about the daily fee's and was treated as if I were a lower class citizen. The gentleman was very rude and implied that I should have known in advance, the fee's were less an issue than this person's attitude. Indian Wells is home to some very nice resorts as is Palm Desert, I would recommend that you look up the road as this property feels more like a Holiday Inn Express. Mehr

No "Wow" factor at this hotel. The grounds were nice and clean, very quite, and the pool area was nice. The hotel room was old and needed an update. Carpeting in the room and lobby was filthy, no reason for such dirty floors. With many resorts in the area that are priced about the same as Miramonte I would choose to stay elsewhere next time going to […] Palm Desert. Mehr

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last Thursday and Friday and I must say both of us were very pleased. Very relaxing... very quiet.. we enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool and later enjoy the spa too! Everyone was very professional. We were celebrating our anniversary and they brought Champayne and also desert. They must have wished us a Happy […] Anniversary about 5 times. I was great! We will definately return. Mehr

Hotel was not very kid friendly and really had no comfortable amenities for that purpose. Plus the room they stuck us in was dark and dingy and in the back corner parking lot. We toured other properties on our trip that are on the same caliber as Miramonte and they were much more pleasant and kid friendly for close to the same price. WE have stayed at this property a number of times and have always enjoyed it. Our reservation through hotels.com stated that we would have a king room on the second floor with a BALCONY. The hotel was sold out because of the holiday weekend & did not honor the balcony part of our reservation. Very dissapointed. Spoke to the manager on duty to no avail. […] The property is lovely, grounds are well maintained, location is super, close to dining, shopping, movies, hiking, Living Desert, etc. Wonderful spa, very luxurious, lots of pampering, Dining room -- Artisan Kitchen was a perfect spot one evening for dinner. All and all it was a lovely stay with the exception of the Balcony screw-up. Next time I will speak with a manager BEFORE booking my hotel room with them so there's no confusion. Mehr

very pleasant, nice restaurant... However, I was just "staying there", didn't need resort amenities/charge.

Beware of hidden charges once I got there they added more hotel fees and room charges on over $100 worth.

A beautiful hotel with a friendly staff.

The Staff were great and food by the pool was fantastic. My only complaint was that the pool goes in shade by 2 pm which is not good.

Lovely hotel - the buildings and grounds are beautiful. Staff very gracious and helpful. Food and beverages top drawer. Room was spacious and well-stocked. All in all a really great experience!

Rooms were spacious and clean. Restauarant actually was very good for breakfast and luch we had there. The only negatives were the TV broadcasts were not in high definition (HD) which meant the wide screen TV in the room was very poor quality and we wanted to watch some of the Bowl games over the holidays when we were in the room. The bed sheets were […] not too comfortable either, but the towels were above average. They said they were trying to upgrade TV reception, so bottom line is we would stay there again. Mehr

We were with you for 5 days. Loved the resort and the area. Our room had some mold in the bathroom on and near the ceiling as well as long hair on the floor which was not ours. One night I had to ask for wash clothes because we were not given any with our towels. Other than that everything was perfect. Upon arrival, my wife and I were excited about staying at the Miramonte. For me, that ended after we were in our room for a while. Although the grounds are beautifully kept, the room itself looked and felt as if the hotel was cutting back. The furniture was usable but tired-scuffed and torn. The bathroom alone had several problems: the toilet wouldn't […] flush unless holding the handle, there was no soap in the toilet room even though there was a sink, the fan was loud, the walls and door had unsightly stains, the shower curtain leaked and was so flimsy it attached itself to me while showering, and the outside sink was clogged. The room coffee was pretty bad. Although these were annoying, the biggest problem was the obvious rodent activity in the ceiling and wall. Having lived with an infestation, the sound is distinctive. The walls were thin enough to clearly hear conversations of neighbors. And finally, the Jacuzzi had so much chemical in it, we had to get out after a couple minutes. So that it doesn't appear that I am a complainer, while checking out, my wife heard a manager mention that two other rooms in our wing had compaints as well. Sorry Miramonte! We went on a Monday night before Xmas as an overnight getaway. Perfect place. Just enough luxury - clean, quiet room, no trouble at all. We had the place to ourselves.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are lacking in soundproofing. We were awoken at 1am by our neighbor's screaming kid and again at 6am. The pool and hot tub were lovely - and the spa perfectly relaxing and lovely staff there too. The restaurant was only ok. I was excited about going when i read about the chef - but it was just good - nothing special. It […] feels like a hotel that caters primarily to events - weddings and such. I would not un -recommend it - but it wouldn't be my first choice in palm springs. Mehr

I loved staying here and the location of the hotel. The staff were very courteous. In fact, we were shown several rooms before making our final selection. The first rooms were dark and somewhat out of the way in the back of the property. Then for only $20 we upgraded to the Luxury room near the main pool area. It was perfect. Definitely would stay here […] again. Happy Hour prices were extremely reasonable and the drinks were great. Thumbs up! Mehr

We have had a great stay at this hotel before and the room was very comfortable. But this time the bed was so uncomfortable that we had four nites of discomfort. Down comforters and pillows don't ensure a good nites sleep. The mattress was awful.

Had an excellent stay at the Miramonte Resort! The room was exceptionally clean, and spacious, while the hotel corridors were relatively quiet. The staff was extremely courteous, and even the greeters at the door were kind and helpful. Unfortunately, during our stay, the movie purchasing channel was not in service. Even though we were charged for purchasing […] a movie, it would not play from our television. However, after calling down to the front desk, the staff assured us that it would be taken off our bill in the morning. Everything was perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! When I pay this kind of money to stay at a hotel such as this I expect a certain high standard that goes along with it; not in this case. The Miramonte Resot and Spa in Palm Springs was a disaster. The whole reason we took the trip to Palm Springs and the resort was for the spa. I paid a lot of money to stay at the hotel and use their spa and it wasn't […] worth it at all. They Well Spa people screwed up the reservation four different times and when all was said and done it wasn't fixed and her spa day was ruined. They had her on a different hotel reservation, listed as a male, and gave her all the wrong services that I did not pay for. No one working in the spa seemed to know what was going on. It was very disorganized and due to their many screw ups nullified the entire reason for the trip. I complained immediately following her appointments when she informed me that she didn't receive their specially catered exclusive Desert Rain Massage and got a detox wrap instead. I was given a partial refund for the services but it wasn't enough. She did get her Plush Manicure/Pedicure which we were told would be done at the same time. However, the same time meant one person doing both treatments so it took a very long time in an uncomfortable position. When she told her manicurist/pedicurist, the woman responded saying that she had to stay in that position for her to do her job. So my girlfriend wasn't comfortable for the hour and a half mani/pedi. Which was so outrageously overpriced that I would've expected them to even do a decent job and they didn't. Overall, I would not reccomend the Miramonte to anyone if you wish to use their spa. Do not make the effort out of your way to stay at this hotel and use their spa. The location isn't that convenient, we didn't care for the food, and the spa was a disaster. I chose this hotel because of all it's positive reviews, so I hope it was an isolated incident but I fear that it's not with how casually they brushed us aside and didn't c Mehr

Beautiful, self-contained resort offering the privacy of a small hotel without the mobs at the larger hotels. Wonderfully landscaped. Its Wellness" spa is rated #1 in the US, uses non-toxic applications and is well-deserved. Staff is pleasant and food is good. Many rooms have mountain views.

The resort is impeccably maintained and the staff are very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend the Miramonte Resort and Spa to family and friends. We thought the resort was new but one of the staff told us that the resort is 15 years old and was completely refurbished three years ago. The only issue with the room was the loud plumbing. […] I could hear when water was being used in the next hotel room. But, it wasn't a nuisance. I had a wonderful and relaxing massage (and that is coming from a massage snob). The Well spa has two small pools for spa guests. However, I found them to be noisy with groups of ladies chit-chatting. The adults-only pool at the rear of the resort is much more private and relaxing. I didn't even bother to go to the main pool. You will enjoy your stay at this resort! Plus, it's only a 7 minute drive away from El Paseo which is considered the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert and has an abundance of shopping and restaurants. Mehr

We went away for our anniversary but the whole time were commenting that it is definitly a place that we could return with our kids. The staff was super pleasant, efficient and just an overall joy to interact with. The restaurant was wonderful! We enjoyed two days of spa services at The Well and enjoyed it immensely! We don't have anything negative […] to say about our stay and will DEFINITLY be back for another getaway!! Thanks Miramonte! Mehr

Bathtub did not drain. Called front desk requested maintenance, issue never resolve.

My husband and I just stayed here for two nights and it was perfect. The food from the restraint was great, the service even better and all the amenities of the hotel were top notch. We laid out by the pool and enjoyed the poolside bar and food service. We also had a nice couples massage and were allowed to use the spa amenities for the entire day of […] our service so we hung out in there waterfall spa and salt water pool as well as the steam room. I was a perfect weekend away, we will def be going back here again! Mehr

Went there simply to relax with the family (2 kids). Room was clean and pool area was well managed with plenty of towels. Pool-side service was a bit slow, but we were in no hurry. Kids loved playing in the pool with their toys and there were other kids sharing and playing too. Great thing was that it never got very LOUD!!! Even with the kids. I would […] definitely go back. Miramonte Resort and Spa- Destination Hotels & Resorts is good hotel and service!!! They have Large pool and small pool, small pool is only adult. We went to both pool, but that's time (2~3 PM) both pool was crowded. Then we went to 6 pm, it is good time. Only 4 parsons!! Also good food!!?? We order of quesadia and fries in this hotel restaurant. That […] is best quesadia for my life!!! We do not have time to eat for other food for in this restaurant, but I think this restaurant is good!! Next time we have to go to this restaurant. Anyway this hotel is quiet and relaxs me. Mehr

The hotel restaurant was absolutely awful. The food was under cooked or over cooked, everything we ate was sent back. The grounds of the hotel were well kept. The pool was dirty, but the wait staff was nice.

Great pools, rooms, spa, and dinning

The hotel and grounds were lovely. Great room, very clean, nice, perfect. I called and scheduled a surprise facial for my mom. At the end, my mom gave the girl a nice cash tip. However, I noticed that the girl also CHARGED FOR A TIP when I went to go pay the bill. So crooked! I have to be honest, that really put a downer on our visit and I may stay […] there again but will definitely never go to their spa nor recommend it to anyone else. Mehr

First time staying there. The only concern was how hot the pool was. It was almost cooler sitting outside the pool. Not sure if anything can be done about this. The Spa was amazing. Loved that. Overall I would stay there again. A lot of restaurants and things to do nearby.

Miramonte Resort and Spa has been one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to. The service was great, the room was clean, organized and had all your needs. One thing I didn't like is that it was a little too pricey. There is similar hotels with more advantages and better prices!!! I would only recommend it if you don't really care about the prices,because […] that's only why I would go to Miramonte next time. Oh and also, the location was pretty and clean, but no restaurants or anything close to it. I had to drive ten minutes to go to the simplest restaurant. Mehr
