Choose a room away from highway noise if you need to rest, & are used to quiet neighborhoods. The rooms on the back seem to be nicer, carpets newer and cleaner. The recliners need to be replaced, but that is understandable with so much traffic, for the price. I would return again, & recommend it for extended stays, as restful & in a good location for […] restaurants, shopping, medical, & tourism. It is a 29 minute ride to the airport. Mehr

new employee was confronted with several challenges upon my check in which were handled courteously and resolved well. mattress was marginal for comfort.

The biggest issue with this hotel is the lack of late night service. I was locked out of my room at midnight. I went down to find a dark and locked office. I knocked and no answer. I didn't know what to do, all the hotel information was on a printed sheet of paper INSIDE my room. I finally called information on my cell phone to get the phone number […] - which is not printed on the office door or any information about lockouts or emergencies. The call went straight to a recorded message which said they were closed and to press 6 for emergencies - then the phone hung up on me 10 times! I finally called an eleventh time and pressed 0 - and someone answered the phone. A staff member hiding in the back of the office - who ignored my knocking. I was very very unhappy about this. It was midnight. I was locked out. They were drunk men running around from room to room and I was alone. The staff member gave me a new key - which didn't work! I called again from the hallway on my cell phone - and made him come to my room with a new key. This could have been a much different outcome if I didn't think to press 0. I was woken up by the cleaning crew 2 out of 3 days of my visit. There was no "Do not Disturb" sign available in the room. My phone did not work, it sounded like dial up service from the 90s. I added an extra night through hotels.com and the hotel did not process my request properly. They called me to tell me I needed to check out, and I told them I was checking out the next day. For 10 minutes I tried to explain what happened. Finally woops, "oh yeah, your request is sitting on my fax machine." Laziness. The television did not have good reception and many channels were fuzzy. With digital television I did not think this was even possible anymore. Other guests I saw seemed kind of sketchy. Lots of people drinking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

The room was a nice clean basic hotel. The small kitchenette was a plus.Tucson Medical Center was across the street along with I-Hop and a steak house just a block away. There were only two drawbacks: The pillows were flat as a pancake and only two of them so make sure you bring your own and we asked for a non-smoking room due to my husbands asthma […] and we got a smoking room. By the time he got up in the morning he could hardly breathe so make sure you get what you ask for. Overall well worth the price. Mehr

Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. There was only 2 towels and I had stayed for 2 nights. Even after a request to have some delivered, they never came. Not sure if this is the nature of this type of hotel, but there were no toiletries: soap, shampoo...

only promblem was house keeping trying to open door at 8:30 when check out isnt until 11:00

The rooms were not clean. The box springs on both beds look like a double homicide happened. Stains on the edges of the box springs. Food, dirt, & lint on the railings of the bed.

We used this motel as our "home away from home" while visiting our UofA student, for that home cooked meal!!!! It was WONDERFUL!!! Easy to find - is only about 9 miles from the school I think! If you think that's to far, it's worth the drive! GREAT neighborhood! CLEAN! AFFORDABLE!! VERY ACCOMIDATING!!! WILL DEFINTELY USE AGAIN & REFER OTHERS TOO!! Beds […] were great! It was family weekend so we stayed 2 nights. NO REGRETS!!! We have stayed at a couple of other facilities in Tucson and by far this one has been the very best! One thing - bring a blow dryer....that's the one thing I forgot & they don't have them in the room. With that being the only issue, I survived!! Mehr

I felt safe and even enjoyed the section of town I was in. A little bit of a drive to the areas we were visiting, but that didn't matter. Nice hotel for the cost. And safety is a big priority for me and I felt completely safe at this hotel!

I liked having TMC hospital so close and the IHOP across the street where i had tremendous service. I was able to do my laundry and get a good nights sleep each night.A fair price for the accomadations.

Excellent hotel and staff.

Room was very acceptable. Sheets on one bed were not very clean. Otherwise, everything was great. I would give it a 4+ rating.

The hotel looked OK from the outside and the gentleman in Guest Services who checked me in was very polite and helpful. That was the end of the positive experience. There was a kitchen without a sponge, soap, paper towels/napkins, etc. There was toilet paper, towels, and soap, but nothing else like lotion, shampoo, or conditioner. The bed was as hard […] as a rock. The A/C worked occasionally. Something wet had dripped down the wall and there was a little pile of I-don't-know-what on the floor near the end of the drip line. By the time we noticed these things, it was too late to change rooms. I'm very thankful we only had to suffer through one night. If you're looking for bare basic living, this will get you by (check for cleanliness before you unpack!). If you're looking for even a shred of comfort or amenities, I'd book at a different hotel. Inexpensive room, so don't expect luxury. But staff was very nice and for a quick overnight, it was fine.

The room was Ok but could have been cleaner. The bed was terrible, hard as a rock and everytime we moved it creaked like an old door. Hotel Manager was very resposive to our needs seeing we left our phone charger in the room. The Manager mailed it to us in a timely manner.

Everything was very nice. The price was very reasonable. The room was spacious The blip in the radar screen was the bed. We had a king size bed. Too bad it was soo hard. I guess that's a big blip.

Perfectly adequate for price paid and how much time I spent in room. Convenient to restaurants, shopping. Office staff told me they'd try to replace non-working lamp, but never got back to me about it. Non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke and had burn holes in comforter. No spare batteries for remote. Kept losing internet signal all the time […] and had to constantly restart computer. However, my previous stay was perfect and I regard these complaints as minor irritations. I will stay there again-especially because the manager gave me a free night when I reported these problems on check-out> Mehr

The room was clean, slightly old, the mattress a little firmer than I would have liked. The kitchenette was wonderful. We went grocery shopping just down the street and ate several meals in our room, saving us a lot of money on eating out. My only complaint was that we had our dog with us and noisy next door neighbors that talked and smoked out on the […] porch next to our door and continually were in and out of their room, causing our dog to bark and wake us up all night long. Also, not very many places to walk our doggy. All in all, a good choice for people travelling on a budget. Mehr

Great price for what we needed. Just stayed one night and it was perfect. Only problem we encountered had nothing to do with the hotel so much as other guests. They smoked right outside our room which came in through our air conditioner and we had a newborn staying with us so we were pretty bummed! As we entered the room, we could see that it was not what we expected for what we paid just by the poor conditions of the room. 3 of the 5 lamps that did actually work reminded me of the type of lighting you would see in the underground hallways of a ghetto apartment building in South Chicago. For what we paid a night there are many hotels that are […] much, much better and much more clean. We found hair in our "fresh" towels and all over the bathtub and even on the ceiling in the bathroom. There were half used bars of soap in the tub as well and the drain didn't work properly. The TV was an old puny 16 inch CRT with no DVD player or even a VCR. My wife and I did not sleep comfortably at all at night because the bed was hard and even though I had reserved a room with a king our bed seemed as if it was a queen. Overall, our experience was poor and I've stayed at much nicer hotels for a much cheaper price. My wife and I won't be back. Mehr

The people were very nice. I love Tucson so it was almost worthwhile. I went into my room and the tv didn't work, something had chewed through the cable. There was half a ciagrette put out in the kitchen sink. There was a bloody kleenex under the bed and dried blood on the kleenex box and the bathroom sink. There were hairs all around the kitchen. There was a funny smell in the room that may have been from poor ventilation. I even considered buying air freshener.

For a low price I got a bed, shower, TV, kitchen. On this particular trip, I did not spend lots of time in my room and I was by myself. it was a great price for a room in a safe place.

Doors had guard at bottom of door that scraped and were hard to open. You knew when anyone left the hotel. We had a non-smoking room but could smell smoke from another room coming in from the vents.

Good value and everything you need

Excellent service from staff. The floors could have been just a bit cleaner and were taken care of right away.

Staff was excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was are 2ed and last stay at this Extended stay.We played for clean ever day all that was done was makeing of the bed and new towels.The bath romm look like it had not been moped in weeks. We did not even stay for the full time and book into another place
