Liegt in Laufdistanz zur Oxford Street und Covent Garden, Leicester Square. Ist modern und für englische Standards auch 4 Sterne, deutscher Standard 3 Sterne. Für London und den Preis super.

Das Hotel hat eine absolut geniale Lage und das Zimmer ist modern und ansprechend ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist absolut zu empfehlen. Sehr gutes Stadthotel.

Meine Frau und ich logierten Anfang Juni 2011 in diesem Hotel. Wir haben schon einige Erfahrung mit Unterkünften in London. Dieses Hotel war mit Abstand das Beste, das wir bis jetzt bewohnten. Wer London etwas kennt weiss, dass man bei den Hotels in der Regel gleich mal einen Stern abziehen muss um einen Vergleich mit Hotels in anderen Städten machen […] zu können. Das war hier definitiv nicht nötig. Das Zimmer mit komnpletter Kleinküche war sehr geräumig, klimatisiert und modern ausgestattet. Obwohl sehr zentral gelegen war es sehr ruhig (geschlossenes Fenster vorausgesetzt). Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, wir mussten jedoch ab und an einen "refill" verlangen. Das Hotel war offensichtlich sehr gut gebucht, so dass die Buffetverantwortliche wohl leicht übervordert war. Die zentrale Lage hatte den Vorteil, dass wir nicht einmal Travelcards benötigten um überall dorthin zu kommen, wo wir hin wollten (Trafalgar Square, West End/Soho, Picadilly, Themse etc.). Das ersparte uns täglich glatt £13.20. Das British Museum ist übrigens auch praktisch "gleich um die Ecke". Alles in Allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wahl. Wir werden definitiv wieder dort absteigen. Das im Verhältnis zum Preis beste Hotel, welches ich je besucht habe in London. Kein Teppich im Zimmer (Platten), sehr sauber und sehr ruhig. Dennoch im Zentrum und Vieles ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Würde wieder da "einchecken".

Positvive first: Location is perfect. And rooms are very clean. Rooms for more than 1 person not comfortable. Small bed - almost no place to put your clothes - no where to put your things in bathroom. No place for suitcases. For short stays ideal. For long stays not recommende for more than 1 person. Staff varies one gir from Senegal very helpful and […] extremely capable others rude, dont speak english well and have no guest relation skills. At breakfast f.e. we had no fork and knifes left .. Only stayed for one night as moving around London . This hotel is well suited as a base for seeing london . The hotel is spotless . Was tempted to do some cooking as everything is provided but decided to go out and sample one of the hundreds of resturants around. If you want to be in the thick of it this is the hotel to be in . The room was spacious, had a nice big bathroom with both bath and shower facilities. It also had a mini kitchen i.e. 2 ring cooker hob, microwave, fridge, and all the basic equipment to cook your own food. Clean room. We requested twin beds and that is exactly why we got. Lots of nearby places for breakfast and very close for Holborn tube station. Would return.

Excellent location. I would recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to have a restful holiday.

Stayed one night as a Birthday surprise for my Husband. Close to the underground station at Holborn and also just a short walk from the Theatre and a lot of the other attractions of London, i.e. Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square and the Embankment. Hotel Citadines Prestige Holborn-Covent Garden was very conveniently located for the Holborn tube station which meant within mins you can be anywhere in London. The staff we met were non English and very polite and sorted out our single beds problem instantly and were very accomadating when we arrived early by allowing us to store our things in a storage […] office.Our room was clean but noticed windows were locked so could not get any fresh air into room, bed was soft and comfy we didnt use the fridge,kettle etc.. but it all seemed to be clean and tidy. For a short weekend break I would highly recommend this hotel/Apartment. Mehr

This hotel is excellent and fantastic value. The small apartment is great and well designed. Great location and walking distance to Covent Garden and the other sights.

We arrived on Friday about 13:30 & the accommodation was ready...well done Citadines! The Citadines is superbly placed for all London attractions. The British Museum is just around the corner and Covent Garden and all Theatres are within a comfortable 15 minute walk. West End about 25 minutes. Receptionist was very friendly and very efficient. Check-in […] took no time. The accommodation was excellent. Kitchen area with all necessary appliances...clean bathroom & fantastic strong shower. We had clean towels every day (3 days). The bed was a bit soft but the pillow suited me & I slept a dream. A safe was available and we used it but we did not feel unsafe at any point. We explored a little on our last day and found the gym and laundy room. We'll bring our kit next time! We did not eat in the breakfast area but it looked more than adequate. I would certainly stay here again in the future. Much better than having just a hotel room. The only negative thing was that I booked a double bed and was given two single beds..we are a couple! To be fair to Citadines...I did not go down and complain so they could not address the problem...but it was not a major issue. Overall...comfortable, clean, friendly staff and ideal location. Mehr

Great hotel. Have nothing bad to say about it. Oh, well, maybe the electrical output converter could have been complimentary.

The location is really great - about 100m from Holborn tube station and a short walk to Covent Garden. There are a lot of food options very close to the hotel, and as it is an apartment hotel with kitchenette, it was easy to utilise the Waitrose across the road for well priced ready made dinners and other groceries. The eoom is kind of smallish, but […] perfectly fine for single or couple. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the free internet was a plus. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodated my early morning checkin (7am!) after a long flight and a later check out which was most appreciated. This hotel was great. We stayed here overnight to see a show, do some shopping and go to dinner. The front desk allowed us to check in early. It's literally 200 yards from the Holborn Underground station, just two stops from Picadilly. Convienient for the Red and Blue line. There was a Boots, Waitrose, Pizza Express, and lots of other non-corporate […] restaurants nearby. I'd definitely recommend for a short stay. Mehr

This hotel is a 60 second walk from Holborn tube station, which is on the Central Line making it an ideal location for exploring London. I walked to Covent Garden in less than 10 minutes. The staff in the hotel were superb and very friendly and check in/check out was quick and painless. The room was modern & clean and I really couldn't fault it. Very convenient and quiet hotel - close to Holborn Tube. Opposite Waitrose for quick snacks! One problem -no coffee maker supplied otherwise all supplied for self catering if wished

If you're visiting London for a longer period, Citadines hotels are a great deal: staff is wonderful and you get a kitchen and can enjoy the local freshies. However, please stay away from the Holborn hotel as it had the noisiest aircon I've ever heard and it was closing in on torture. Most of the times we kept it off, which lowered the temperature to […] about 6 degrees.. Not good. So, an A+ for the location with appr. 15 minutes to everywhere by tube or bus and a B+ for the Citadines concept, but an F for the overall living conditions. Mehr

Similiar to other reviewers comments, this hotel is very well located and easy to get to from Heathrow (1 block from Holborn Tube station on the Picadilly line - about an hour from Heathrow), with a supermarket and many restaurants within steps of the hotel. I was only there for one night, but it meet my needs perfectly: clean, modern, quiet, well located. […] Though I didn't use the kitchenette, it would have been handy if I was staying a bit longer. My room wasn't fancy (or very big so not ideal if you are planning on spending a lot of time in the room) - but great for a spot to get a good night's sleep before heading out to explore London. very nice would stay in it at anytime

Stayed for New Years eve so that we could see the fireworks without worrying about getting home. Very convenient, clean, tidy and comfortable for one or two nights. Lots of fast food and restaurants nearby plus one or two grocery stores. The room kitchen facilities very convenient i..e microwave and hob tea making. Handy safe in room. Brilliant location - 100 yds from holborn tube station & buses to west end & theatreland. Hotel very smart & efficient with information about the attractions & eating places in the area. The room was a good size with self catering equipment if needed. Only slight let down was the cleaning of the room - wouldn't expect them to clean the cups & plates […] but the toilet rolls weren't replaced. Down to last sheet!! Otherwise a very good hotel & well priced ( but depends on when you artrive). Mehr

Second visit. Courtyard rooms on high floors are so quiet that one would not know we are in hub of London. Self catering well catered for with 2 supermarkets on same street.No need to use public transport unless going somewhere really afar.

We spent 5 days in this hotel around new year 2011-2012. We liked the hotel a lot. The hotel is located next to the Holborn station, although it's buys by times, the hotel staff is very fliendly and the location / pricing is convenient.

Perfect hotel placement with excellent sound insulation for privacy and working. Complemenatry coffee and wifi are small details but very convenient and much appreciated.

The person before us had obviously smoked in the room and it was like living in an ashtray. Also, the wifi access lasted a few hours and we had to go get new access codes a few times a day. Very weak. Everything else was great.

Receptionist seemed a little abrupt to begin with. However, she seemed to cheer up after a while. The hotel, and rooms are beautiful. Spacious and comfortable. Absolutely wonderful!

Excellent value for money

This hotel is in an excellent location if you want to attend any plays in the theatre district or visit the many galleries that are nearby. It is close to shops of many kinds (upscale and everyday) and the underground station is one block away. It takes 1 hour to travel to Heathrow on the Piccadilly Line. Wonderful hotel, I celebrated our anniversary there and they upgraded our room with wonderful gift. The location is excellent and we will definitely stay at that hotel once again for our next visit. The staff were very helpful. I highly recommend to everyone.

I had not stayed with this chain before, but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. Friendly staff greeted us as we entered and left each day, and the hotel is very close to the Holborn tube station for easy access. We chose this because of reasonable rates, good proximity to a variety of sightseeing attractions and positive feedback. […] We were not disappointed.
