Lovely and glamorous hotel. Lovely room and view of the park. Attention to detail with the Valentine card handsigned by the staff and yummy cookies delived to the room compliments of the hotel. Loved our stay at the H.

Great hotel. We stayed there during a soccer tournament weekend. The hotel was great. However, the pool was filled with children running, screaming, and pushing. The parents did little to no disciplining. They were too busy drinking wine and beer, relaxing while their kids were out of control. The management came into the pool area, looked at the ensuing […] chaos, and briefly spoke to the parents (about what, I don't know). What I do know is that the management failed to enforce any of the posted rules and regulations which should be followed by all individuals using the pool. The situation was clearly out of control. I am writing this review as a parent with a child who played in the soccer tournament. I, however, do not allow my child to run, scream, and push while at the pool. I was very disappointed by the parents inability to discipline their children and even more disappointed that the hotel management failed to enforce the rules for proper pool use. I would stay at this hotel again, but if this were to happen again I would not stay there. To the hotel management: Please make all hotel guests follow rules and regulations posted on the premises. It is really a safety issue, and I could imagine a lawsuit if someone were hurt as a result of horseplay in the pool. To irresponsible parents: Please discipline your children. Don't just say, "don't push" and then do nothing when the child continues to push others, while running and screaming around the pool. It's is unsafe. All you have to do is say "no more running, screaming, or pushing while in the pool area." And then when the child does not follow your directions you give the child a consequence (you know a punishment) like not being allowed in the pool for five minutes or longer if necessary. The H is the best facility in Michigan for a business traveler. Exceptionally clean, everything looks brand new. Workout facility is better than many hotels twice the size of the H. Great little bar.

Highly recommend the H Hotel in Midland MI!! My 2 best friends and I went there for a long weekend. We had excellent service. We ate at all 3 resturants. The Table was exceptional. Our waiter Thomas was great and the manager of the Table very friendly and informative. We used the hotel's bikes to ride on the bike trails. There was so much to do within […] walking distance of the hotel. There was also shopping! I would highly recommend Gems by Em! We go on an annual girl's weekend and we will definitely return to this wonderful hotel and city! Mehr

When we arrived the desk clerk stated that they had a computer glitch and were overbooked. They wanted to send us to a "fleebag" motel. When we stated that we had been coming to this hotel since they opened (20 years), somehow they found us a room for the night.

The hotel has a pantry available to the guests with free snacks and drink 24X7, a nice courtyard, a great work out room, friendly and helpful staff and two good restaurants and bar. It was great!

We have stayed at this Hotel on several occasions and have never been disappointed and would recommend it to everyone who chooses to stay there.

We arrived earlier than check in time and they welcomed us early. Some of the things I liked the most were the free underground parking, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. Also, there was a room available with sodas and snacks that were complimentary to the guests. We would visit this hotel again in a heart beat.

My son had a speedskating competition in Midland over the weekend. We stayed 2 nights at the H hotel. We were very impressed. The room was very nice and the beds were fluffy and cozy. Loved it. I was very impressed. Everything was 1st class. Will go back for a overnight stay. I would recommend this hotel for anyone on business or for a romantic weekend. Great area to walk. Absolutely loved this little hotel, it has beautiful & chic decor rivaling that of chicago or new york. The service was outstanding at checkin, in the bar and the cafe for breakfast. The food and drinks were excellent throughout. Very comfy beds, very clean. Will definitely return when we have time to enjoy the downtown area as well.

Excellent hotel! Everything far exceeded our expectations. I would pick this hotel again if I ever return to Midland.

I travel a lot in my business and this hotel is truly a 5 star hotel for the price of a 3 star. It has an elegant lobby, beautiful clean rooms and and many of the finer details. The staff goes out of their way to please you. One example: Room service mid day order of a club sandwich and two cokes. They looked at the order and the number of guests registered […] and without asking, divided the sandwich and potatoes onto two seperate plates with two sets of silverware. Classy customer service like that was provided throughout our stay. Highy reccomended. Mehr

Beautiful Hotel, very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my stay. Would hightly recommend this hotel, and for the price you can't beat it!

everything was great except when we were checking in the girl at the front desk refused to tell us which side of the hotel had the best view.....wierd
