Comfort Suites Cookeville - Cookeville

Comfort suites are nice. The main areas not as clean as usual. Room nice.

Close to everything, very quite. Good Breakfast.

Overall the hotel was nice and quiet, but we did find a few things that weren't up to par. First, we had to scrub our daughter's feet and knees after she crawled around on them for a few minutes - they were filthy. Also the shampoo provided in the bathroom seemed like it had been watered down and restocked. Even on my short hair, I had to use a TON […] just to get it to lather (simple way for them to cut corners $ wise, I guess). The refrigerator in the room also didn't seem very cold. It was fine for a few beers and an open jar of baby food - but I would have hate to have been there more than one night and been required to keep milk or something like that in there. The pool area was nice, although my husband wanted to use the sauna and had to turn it on/wait for it to heat up before it was viable. Just a tip in case you want to use it - turn it on an hour or so before you plan to go down and sit in it. Our daughter had trouble sleeping, so we left before the breakfast opened but would like to have tried it for the review. The area seemed clean, albeit a bit small though. When we go back, we'll probably try and find another hotel. Not that this one was hideous by any means, but it just could have been better. Mehr

Clean room, helpful staff. Great hotel for the money.

While taking a college visit trip and staying at several hotels, we stopped here to go to Tenn Tech. Hotel was by far the best I have stayed in in years Clean, courteous and functional. Every thing in the Hotels.com listing was present, working and clean. The neighborhood was so nice, my wife and I could just imagine living there. I mean wow. This hotel […] just made the trip so wonderful. When we go to any place having Cookeville any where near the mid way point, we are staying here at this hotel. Hope my son picks TN Tech so I can feel great knowing I have a home away from home to stay at. while visiting him. Oh, Great breakfast too. We were a little late getting down to breakfast and were about to head to a restaurant. But the staff wouldn't let that happen. They reopened the breakfast just for us. We didn't ask for the great service, it just climbed all over us. Eggs, Bacon, toast, waffles(chocolate and regular) muffins, fruit, cereals, and more. Somebody give these people a raise. I have stayed on concierge floors and on club floors but never felt so comfortable as here at the Comfort Inn Suites. Wow Mehr

Very well maintained, comfortable hotel...ranks with some 3 and 4 star hotels I have stayed in. HIghly recommend this to travelers

Overall this hotel was the best i've ever stayed at. so comfortable,clean,and overall inviting tahn any other ever. The bed was so inviting and comfortable i actually had to pick my wife up and out of the bed upon check-out because she didn't want to leave.......A+ should be at least a five***** star hotel

Hotel was fully booked, our room was great. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of food at breakfast, dining room was clean.

I was very disapointed by the customer service. As a State employee, I travel often for business purposes and after a long day of driving and meetings I don't want to have to wait to check in. The hot tub wasn't hot and the sauna was not working well either. The room itself was beautiful and clean. Very comfortable and quiet.

I usually stay in another major chain but found ths hotel to be quite accomodating. The desk clerk was on the phone taking a reservation so it took me several minutes to check in. The desk called shortly after arriving in the room to check and see if everything was satisfactory. Breakfast room was crowded the next morning, so much so that people spilled […] out into the lobby. The staff was very pleasant. We loved the hot breakfast and the person at the desk opened the pool early for my kids so they could get some exercise before we traveled.The first room we were in had a very strong musty odor. We called the front desk and they immediately switched us to another room, which smelled better. After running the fan all night […] we noticed a stronger musty odor. I wonder if it was caused by some white stuff in the vent of the blower. Overall our stay was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Mehr

Pleasant unremarkable stay. Hotel in newer condition and amenities were good. Quiet area.

Our only complaint is that we enter creeping little creatures twice during on time there. We caught one of them and showed it to the manager on duty and they gave us a credit on our stay.
