My Stay at the Extended Stay America in Knoxville was wonderful. It was covenient and easy to find, comfortable and very clean and most of all quiet and cozy. I need a place to stay at least once a month to rest and relax. I take care of my father who has Alzheimer's and it takes it's toll on me sometimes. My baby sister takes hime to stay with her […] in Kentucky for a few days so I can get some rest and take a break and I think I found a place where I can do just that. I highly recommend The Extended Stay America in Knoxville Tennessee and will stay there again in the near future. Mehr

Hotel was all I needed, was clean and comfortable. Only gripe is the fee for the internet. In a world of free in-room wireless I don't understand why they charge $5.00.

We had a decent stay at this hotel - the location is good, the bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was handy...But don't expect any frills with this place. You have to pay to use the internet (which is very slow), any housekeeping you want (it's not complimentary), and even the vending machines are over-priced. We also saw a cockroach during our […] stay...but we have definitely stayed in worse places (like the Travelodge in Carlisle, PA - DO NOT STAY THERE). If you want the basics in a central location and nothing more, the price is decent. Stay just down the road at the Microtel and you get more for your money minus the kitchenette. PS Don't trust the pictures - the pics are much nicer and newer seeming than the real thing at this location at least. Mehr

if you want a place close to the interstate it is ideal. We usually stay at the Marriott Courtyard for its convenice as well. It would have been nice if during football season, it they could get the shuttle like the other hotels in that area.

For the price, the room itself was what was expected, but the noisy room presented a problem while trying to sleep. As soon as anyone turned their water on the pipes would start a very, very loud banging-ticking noise. This started with the first guest getting up around 6:30am and ending never!!!! Also, our room faced out to the interstate and it was […] loud with the traffic coming by. Sometimes, the traffic actually helped drown out the obnoxious pipes! Didn't make for a restful morning. It was very average.....no daily room service, no shampoo, lotion, hair dryer, etc. provided....it served our purpose for a short two night stay

Hotel was clean and price reasonable for a mid-range hotel. On arrival, employees very friendly and helpful. Access was a little strange but close to numerous restaurants and shopping. Only down side was the water pipes in room made noise and directly beside the interstate so the backside rooms were a little noisy for sleeping.

It's hard to describe the Extended Stay without sounding negative. It's a 2-star hotel, so it's obviously not plush, the staff do not fawn over you, and the amenities are not extensive. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I found it to be a perfect compromise between a crash-for-the-night hotel and a luxurious-vacation hotel. The room was clean, […] the staff was friendly, it did have WiFi (five bucks per stay, not fast enough to stream Hulu, but certainly good enough for general surfing and email), and the kitchen area with full fridge was a useful addition. I stayed three nights, and found everything to be adequate. If you're looking for a comfortable place to come back to during your stay in the Knoxville, TN, area, I would recommend this Extended Stay America Hotel. Mehr

The only thing that we didn't like was that it was hard to find. The location was excellent with many restaurants and shops near by.

i was very pleased all around in the hotel, it was clean the bed was comfy. the kitchen was nice and very convienant. i had had a rough start on my vacation and the desk clerk was very friendly and made me feel at home

I had an issue with alarm clock not working for three days and not being able to get a new one....just as much my bad becuase I should know to have my own with me. But when I checked out at the front desk and spoke to the manager I expressed my frustration...I will say the manager took a bad situation and turned it into a good customer experience. She […] was progfessional and apologetic and sent a personal letter to my home with a comp night. I wasn't looking for anything but an aknowledgement of the furstration I felt. In the end I was turned around. I like Extended Suites because it is a really good value and in a recessiion a good value is the main thing I'm looking for. Mehr

We weren't sure what to expect but it was just fine, in fact better than fine. The hotel attendant who checked us in and was incredible; she made sure we had everything we needed, recommended where to eat, even helped us to the room since my husband was on crutches. Service was above and beyond! The hotel room was fine-clean, coffee maker w/ coffee […] packet, we ordered in that night and since it's an extended stay there are plates and silver ware to use-- a great stop midst traveling. This hotel was very clean and all the stuff was very nice. I really did not expect it to be so clean and nice for the price that I paid. I will be staying here again.

This hotel provides everything including dish soap, but does not provide shampoo. You need to bring your own!

I didn't like getting assigned a handicap room without my knowledge. The showers seem awkward and weird, a blessing for someone handicapped I'm sure, but just weird since I'm not. The price is right and the location is right, for a one night stay a good value, for any longer I may have looked for something more up scale, this was a quick over night […] so cost and location were more important than comfort.
