Sauberkeit der Toiletten in der Lobby am 10.08.2012 abends gegen 22 Uhr katastrophal! Auch nach mehrmaliger Information an Rezeption und im Restaurant fühlte sich niemand verantwortlich, für Sauberkeit zu sorgen. Rezeption verwies auf Verwantwortung des Restaurants, Restaurant auf das Hotel.

Topp Lage des Hotels auf Granville Island direkt am Wasser mit Blick auf die Skyline von Vancouver Downtown, rundherum liegen die Segel-, Motorboote im Wasser. Hotel ist sehr ordentlich. Zum Hotel gehört eine eigene Brauerei und ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant (Dockside).

The Hotel has a good infrastructure and an excellent Resturant Service. Grenville Island is a beautiful environment for evening relaxation. A hotel on Grenville Island is perfect, because one do not need to drive after a nice dinner and an evening with some drinks.

We visited with our 4 year old and found this to be a great location away from the busy downtown hotels. Our room overlooked the harbor and the kids market, public market, and restaurants are a short, pleasant walk away; the art studios and theaters of the Railspur district are next door and fun to browse. It was nice, clean and quiet. The bed was comfy and the snack bar was pleasantly supplied at reasonable prices! The room was not what I had requested. When I questioned the front desk they couldn't tell me why the request wasn't honored other than that the rooms were allocated in the morning and this was how it was done. They acknowledged that the request […] was there tho and gave us vouchers for breakfast as way of apologizing. Watch out for the parking police; we paid for parking till noon but they marked our tires at 10 a.m! Mehr

Staff were friendly, lobby was nice, rooms seemed adequate, until we got up in the morning. After a nights sleep of messing up the blankets i was disgusted to see the bottom half of the fitted sheet was covered in lint and little black hairs( neither of us have black hair)

Was very well placed on a gorgeous island, service was great, rooms were clean. We really had no complaints! Would have been nice if breakfast was included free as well, but that's a nit.

Our 1st time was 20 years ago! This was our 2nd. Great place for a romantic rendezvous. Interior has been updated and is very nice, luxurious feeling. Location is superb for romantic strolls on the island and around false creek. Very central for visiting vancouver. Met my son in Vancouver to celebrate his 19th Birthday and it could have not be more lovely staying at the Granville Island Hotel! Our room was clean and comfortable overlooking the water and boats. The front desk staff were courteous and knowledgeable and the food was delicious. So many lovely amenities all within walking distance. A delightful home […] away from home! Great hotel! We arrived an hour before their preferred check in time of 2:00pm, our room wasn't quite ready yet (which we understood) so we killed some time and came back at 2:00. Our room still wasn't ready, which wasn't a big deal as we are pretty easy going people and were more than happy to wait but instead of having us wait they upgraded us to […] a room with a balcony. Wonderful experience, walking distance to all of Granville island's attractions, walking distance to ferries to rest of Vancouver. We will definitely stay here again. The best pleasure trip we've taken in some time.

We really love the location. When we required assistance from the staff they were very friendly and helpful. The King rooms were spacious. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel and would definitely return to the Granville Island Hotel for both business and pleasure.

Very nice hotel in a great location if you don'y mind not being right down town. Quieter than down town and still great access to 4th avennue in Kitsilano and dowtown via sea bus. Provide different experience than the traditional dowtown tower hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by the state of the hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, the hotel and rooms very clean and modern. You can't beat the view from our room - Science World, water and boats. Our only complaint was the noise on the 2nd floor. We must have been below a housekeeping room and a few doors down from another supply/staff […] room as the noise started fairly early in the morning and continued until check out. Mehr

Great room with a lot of character and fun location to walk around the market. Shower big enough for two people was especially nice for us! The only troublesome thing about our stay was an employee trying to give us another bottle of water when we had the do not disturb sign on the door.

Very nice hotel, lovely lobby, small but comfortable room, nice king sized bed, clean but paint was chipping off door to bathroom. Loved that my small dog was welcome, she was given a treat upon arrival. Delicious breakfast in the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again even if I do not bring my dog.

The title says it all. I did not feel like a valued and welcome guest. It does not help when the only thing I had arranged (ice and champagne glasses) to be in my room at a specific time was over an hour late and did not come until I had to call again. No reasons given! This was supposed to be a special evening but the hotel left me feeling like ill […] never go back there for the premium price they charge. Mehr

We were just staying for the evening. Enjoyed the flatbread at the dockside restaurant. Hotel was spotless and very modern. Beautiful view of the carol ships and the water and very spacious!

We were so happy with how close it was located to the Public Market and aqua buses. We were also pleased the bed was super comfortable. Made for a much needed good night of sleep.

i asked for ocean view I guess I got it as a peek a boo room. it is Christmas time so lots of parties maybe going a lil late in the hotel. alil pricy for what it is but all Vancouver hotels are pricy for what they are as well and it suited my needs well didn't have to drive and sating on Granville island is always nice

Nice hotel with a great view of False Creek and the marina. Some issues with the bathroom sink being crack, towel rack loose on the wall and the toilet handle breaking off. We found the heater in the room to be very noisy.

Very very clean property, friendly staff, mediocre food. Water park fun, slides and motif ideal for 2-5 year olds...small basic rooms, great large bathrooms. It was a great quick week getaway.

This a great spot for people who want to take advantage of the recreation spots of Vancouver. You are centrally located right on the cycling and walking paths that go west along the beaches to UBC and the paths that lead through to Science World, down town, the sea wall and Stanley Park. Being on Granville Island gives you lots of choices for restaurants, […] coffee shops, local art shops, galleries and theaters. Granville Island is great for kids too with a water park, green space and beaches close by, not to mention a large kids focused shopping area. We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and updated the hotel was and enjoyed a fantastic meal at their Dockside restaurant with spectacular city and water views. Access to down town is minutes away by car but the harbor ferry is at your door step if you want to enjoy the short boat ride and walk into downtown. We will definitely stay here again. Mehr

We just got married and due to our busy schedules in nursing and management we didn't have time for a long honeymoon so we did a one night stay at the Grandville Island Hotel. We wanted to stroll the streets and see the shops and public market. What a pleasant surprise! Nice rooms, a bit small but very clean and updated from a recent renovation. We […] were there on the night the 7.7 earthquake hit norther BC. the staff were very helpful and kept their cool. Great say and wonderful shops - very arts so the prices are a bit high but the hand worked stuff from silk weaving to carvings are exceptional. the Public market food was exceptional. Granville Island Hotel was an excellent location for seeing things on the Island as well as visiting Vancouver sites. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back.

The setting of this hotel is outstanding, on the water of False Creek beside a marina. We used both outdoor patios for meals and watched the water and people walking by. Food was great and servers were both attentive and friendly. A wonderful break.
