Hyatt Place Bush Intercontinental Airport - Houston

In der Hotelbeschreibung ist ein Shuttle-bus angegeben. Wir mussten vor Ort erst noch zweimal anrufen, bevor nach 1,5 Stunden der Bus kam. Am nächsten Morgen war der Bus ausgebucht. Die Shuttlefahrt ist erst ab 6 Uhr möglich und fährt nur jede Stunde. Die ersten 3 Fahrten waren aber schon reserviert, sodass wir erst um 9 Uhr hätten zum Flughafen kommen […] können. Da wäre der Flieger schon weg gewesen, sodass wir mit den zwei Kindern um 5 Uhr an der Reception waren. Nach langen Diskussionen konnten wir doch noch mitfahren. Fazit: Wir hatten das Hotel zum Übernachten gebucht um am nächsten Morgen weiter zu fliegen. Der Shuttle fährt nur jede Stunde, und wenn voll ist, dann soll man auf die nächste Möglichkeit warten, auch wenns mehrere Stunden dauert. Am nächsten morgen hätten wir den Flug unter normalen Umständen nicht erreicht. Die Taxifahrt von 20 U$ pro Fahrt muss unbedingt miteingeplant werden, ansonsten ist von der Buchung in dem Hotel unbedingt abzuraten. Mehr

wir hatten etwas schwierigkeiten das hotel zu finden aber die menschen in amerika sind sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. im hotel angekommen waren wir sofort sehr zufrieden, service , zimmer und auch das frühstück alles super. wir können dies weiterempfehlen.

hotel ist nicht zu nahe am flughafen. mit hotelbus gut erreichbar fahrtzeit ca 20 min. sehr nettes,familiäres klima. hier ist das personal lobend zu erwähnen. das zimmer ist gut eingerichtet,jedoch waren risse in dem bettlaken und das sofa hatte flecken die nicht sehr schön aussahen,undefinierbar! könnte sauberer sein. da ich sehr oft in vielen hotels […] der welt übernacht,ist dieses hotel für die preisklasse mittlere standard. Beautiful hotel. Amazing suite. Movie channel wouldn't work, disappointing as it was our last night of an 8 day vacation and just wanted to stay in and watch a movie. We had to fly out early the next morning, so didn't get the breakfast. But the coffee was great. Would definately stay again.

It was a great time!!

I arrived very late and checked out very early, so essentially it was a bed. The wake-up call was on time, it was a clean room and I slept well.

Would love to stay again in the near future but they are entirely booked up. We were lucky to get in at the price from hotels.com.

At first we were concerned because it was farther from the airport than we thought but on arrivl we were very pleased with our rooms. We had a very nice room, very clean hotel and the staff and service were excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. We would definitely stay here again :-)

I would recommend this hotel very clean and comfortable. The staff was great and was very helpful. The only thing is u have to drive about 45 minutes away from the hotel to get to restaurants and malls

When I first searched for hotels in this area, I was skeptical about this hotel - it was so much cheaper than surrounding hotels, but looked pretty nice and modern and seemed to have bigger rooms than the others. I thought to myself, "What's the catch?" There's no catch. The hotel completely exceeded my expectations for the following reasons: - Great […] customer service: Even though he was busy, the front desk agent was incredibly friendly, calm and helpful. - Excellent room: I met a couple friends during their layover from midnight to 6 a.m., so I needed a spacious room with a sofa where two of us could hang out and the other could sleep. Well, the room not only had a sofa, but had a large L-shaped couch in a separate lounge area with mini-fridge (we brought drinks!) and desk. The room was also very clean and had cute decor. The beds were crazy comfortable. I want to look up the mattresses they use so I can buy one for myself! - Late night food: Hyatt Place was the only hotel near the airport that clearly had real food available so late at night. Again, the front desk agent was incredibly helpful in getting food ready for us quickly. - Conveniently located near the airport. It was a positive experience all across the board. When I was booking this hotel for our stay, I called and spoke to the hotel directly prior to booking the room. I informed the front desk that I would be coming with my young family and wanted to make sure the airport shuttle will accomodate us. I even provided my timings for both arrival and departure. The lady confirmed that they would pick us up […] but we would have to call upon arrival. We called, we waited for some time as we were told that no one was avail to pick us up. Upon calling another 2 times, we were finally told to take a taxi and they would pay for the fare. However, for our return trip to the airport, we had to pay for our own fare - as the shuttle was not available at the time we needed it. And also if the shuttle is full, you are out of luck. This is very bad service and if this is how things are to be handled, then this needs to be stated to all. We would NOT have stayed at this hotel as there were others we would have been shuttled at no additional cost. I do hope that the hotel will consider reimbursing us for the fare back to the airport. The gentleman at the hotel upon our arrival was helpful but his hands were tied. The other gentleman who helped us out re food etc was great - he was very friendly and did his best to acomodate us. The room was quiet and well appointed. The food service in the evening was extremely slow and of mediocre quality. The shuttle to the airport was twenty minutes late leaving the hotel.

I have stayed at the Hyatt in Sugarland and I always enjoy the stay. The bed sleeps well. When I arrived at the Hyatt in Houston, I expected the same type of service. I was pleasantly suprised. I have stayed at the Hyatt Place several times, as I travel to Houston regularly for business. Convenient location, close to IAH and about 30-45 minutes away from everywhere else (I travel all over town). Rooms are pretty nice, the staff is very nice, the place is clean. I like the 24 hour food service. I would not recommend "hanging out" in Greenspoint. […] I don't think it is very safe after dark, but that is not too uncommon for neighborhoods surrounding either Houston airports. Mehr

This was a Great hotel and the staff was very helpful. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot. The late check out let us enjoy every minute of our stay and a little more rest.

Though not the closest to the airport, HP is a good place to stay. Double beds are NOT queen size, but they are pretty upfront in that. Much construction in front of hotel

Good pricing, location and room. Quality of service very good. Good breakfast and free cookies from 4-6pm. Example, 75 minutes to send the van to airport. Explanation, this is a curtsy service, you can take a taxi. Where is the curtsy? Avoid, avoid, avoid

First the Con's We flew from Alaska and did not expect the Hotel Shuttle to take 45 minutes to pick us up, but when I realized how badly designed and scattered the Houston Airport is, it makes it hard for a hotel to gather all the people without about 5 differing bus stops. Then, because of the 4.7 mile distance from Bush Intercontinental and heavy […] rush hour traffic, it must have been a half hour to get to the hotel. Now the Pro's. These folks are all over their game and did not drop the ball in any way. They have great manners and follow through on what they say. I called for the shuttle and she explained very well what to expect and also said she would call me with an update. Also the driver and hotel staff made us very welcome with fresh baked cookies on arrival. Then when we asked for nearby restaurants they pointed us to the one out front on the street, Jimmy G's Cajun Seafood. Wow!!!! Great Food and service and not to be missed. The Hotel provides a coupon discount for Calamari. Over all, the only down side was the time to get to the Hotel but these folks work hard to please. I am always pleased with the Hyatt Place and these folks stand out. Mehr

This is a nice hotel for a weekend stay, however the free breakfast was not really a breakfast only cereal, fruit, and oatmeal. Resonable fittness area for a cardio workout. Staff was very helpful. Overall this was a nice hotel for a weekend stay.Oh yea the room was NICE!

I was very happy with my choice of this hotel. It is a very nicely decorated, comfortable place. All of the staff I encountered was very helpful and friendly.

We only stayed there one night as a stopover from our trip. My family and I were quite happy with the room as it was quite roomy. We had traveled from Germany to Houston flying well over 11 hours and all we wanted was a nice comfortable hotel to get some rest. This hotel met our needs and then some. We travel frequently and stay at Hyatt Place as often as possible. This one however, was a mistake. The hotel is very difficult to get in and out of and the surrounding area is not very nice. We found used, dirty towels in our room and the sink and toilet had not been cleaned. The TV hook-ups were convenient, but they did not work. All of our movies […] played only in Black and White. The staff that was sent up to fix the issue was less than helpful, not from effort, but he had no knowledge of how to fix the problem. Lobby staff was polite and hotel was in good condition, but this was not the best of experiences. We will definitely not be staying at this Hyatt Place again. Mehr

Hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful! If I can find this hotel in every city I stay for this great price.....can't beat it!

Hotel was nice , clean, and the staff was friendly and accomidating.The room was a little too much modern and not as comfortable as a Comfort suite. ButI would stay here again.

I have usually enjoyed staying at Hyatt Place hotels, but I was disappointed with my inability to find information about airport shuttle service. I ended up spending too much money on a taxi cab to get to the hotel with an argument with the hotel staff to open the security gate to let me in to check in. The hotel is quite clean. the rooms are very large and comfortable but it is off the beaten path. If you have a car it should be ok. It is a great value.

Great place if you need a place to stay overnight and then need to catch a flight out in the morning. The shuttle at the hotel was ideal and the staff at the hotel were super helpful. Would definately stay here again.........

Went there during a 10-hour layover at IAH. Nice hotel, very helpful staff. Room was spacious, beds were fine, everything was clean & in good shape. Good value for the money. But the shuttle only runs every hour, and it's significantly farther away than many other hotels. When we arrived at 11:30 PM, the shuttle was taking guests somewhere else, so […] we had the choice of an hour's wait or paying for our own cab. I'd recommend it if you needed to be in that area, but not for an IAH layover. Mehr

We needed a hotel close to the airport for an early morning flight. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room and the upscale decor. Everything was clean, comfortable and quiet. Because of our early flight we did not get to sample the breakfast so can't comment on that.

Room had smoking smell when we first step in the room. Breakfast bowl still wet so we had to dry it ourselves before put the fruit on. Heard customer complain that hotel over charge them. Don't have enough food and staff to serve at Breakfast bar.

I have stayed many times. Very welcoming staff. Great service
