Homewood Suites Toledo Maumee - Maumee

Three girlfriends and I stayed three nights here for a scrapbook retreat. I can't begin to say enough about our stay. The hotel was fresh and clean. The staff was wonderful. I've never stayed at a place where the staff wanted to do so much for you. They were even better than the staff at our hotels in Disney!

Excellent hotel, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast-- meets expectations. Stay was over a weekend with family for 1 night. Location of hotel is nearby several good chain restaurants. We usually split the drive from the East to the Midwest for family visits somewhere around Toledo. In seeing what was reasonably prices at our usual exit, where I-80 and I-475 cross I cam across a sale for this hotel. I had never stayed in a Homewood Suites before, seeing them as too expensive. But on a sale, we really enjoyed it. The room has a bedroom […] and living room with kitchenette, your own fridge, microwave, and hotplate, with basic cooking and dining wares in the room. So rather than spend $50 on a restaurant, we went to the local supermarket and settled in for a relaxing night of TV and "home cooked" food (OK, they were freezer entrees, but they were guilty pleasures -- we HAD to get jalapeño poppers, you see :-) The hotel is clean and new. The pool and jacuzzi was great (slightly marred by screaming kids, but that is hardly the hotel's fault -- it was holiday travel time for families, after all). Breakfast was pretty good -- I'd give it a 7/10. All in all we quite enjoyed the stay, though perhaps would pass on one of the busiest travel weekends of the year. Mehr

Excellent rates. Close to turnpike and variety of restaurants. The suite was more than we could imagine for the price. Will definitely stay here again. Good breakfast.

Wonderful experience! Very helpful friendly staff. Cleanliness around hotel - rooms, pool, eating area outstanding. We will definitely stay again.

Nice new building ...well maintained. Enjoyed my stay.

This was our first time @ this type of hotel. It was very comfy and cozy for our family gathering for our x-mas together. Quiet and meet all of our needs.

Great comfortable, clean, great location. Room had everything we needed and more. We look forward to our next visit to the Ohio area.

We've stayed at the Homewood in Maumee twice, once on a weekend and once during the week. Each time, it was welcoming and well-appointed. It seemed to attract a mix of families and business travelers. There was no excessive noise, all the facilities were well maintained (and we used them all; pool, executive center, and fitness room), and the staff […] was friendly and helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance. I do wish their cancellation policy was a little more forgiving (before 6pm the day before check in). Mehr

The room was clean and it was very quiet for 2 days and bed was very soft. I will stay there again when we come back. GOOD JOB to everyone there.

Excellent hotel! Friendly people, clean, big, comfortable rooms, complimentary breakfast, great service. We had a full kitchen in our suite which was so convenient since we were so far from home. Overall, one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in!

The staff at this hotel was outstanding! Their attention to detail and helpfulness was terrific. The food was excellent and they always accommodated our large party. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Our experience was very enjoyable. We appreciate the honesty of the staff or guests who turned in a necklace that was lost.

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience at the hotel. The indoor pool area was very clean and our kids had a great time swimming. The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I believe I've ever stayed in. The linens were clean and also very comfortable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning. We were expecting a minimal spread, […] but were pleasantly surprised to be served waffles, fruit, bagels, eggs, etc. Overall, we had a great stay and if I'm ever in the area again, will definitely stay there. I chose this hotel because of all the wonderful reviews. I would definately stay here again if ever in the area.

We travel to Toledo all the time to see family and this time we decided to stay somewhere different. I was amazed at the hotel and the people. Breakfast was fabulous! We even had a chance to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We will definitely stay here again!!!

We had an excellent stay at the Homewood! From check-in to check-out, nothing but great customer service. Breakfast the next morning was just what we needed to get us back to traveling home.

We were extremely impressed with this hotel. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Upon entering we were greeted by a a fire in the fireplace. Check in was a breeze. We reserved a one bedroom smoking suite, and when we entered the room, there was absolutely NO odor of smoke whatsoever! Housekeeping was superb and our room was beautiful and very […] clean. The breakfast is wonderful, but we never got to try the evening food due to dinner plans with family. But, it sure smelled good!! The entire staff was wonderful and we will be staying at this hotel on all of our future trips to the Toledo area. Mehr

Our hotel stay was excellent. The value was excellent, particularly when you consider that the breakfast buffet was included in the price. The hotel was very clean, which is always appreciated and to me a big factor in where I stay. They even delivered the US Today newspaper to your door! Quite the nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

I can't say enough good things about the people and quality of this hotel. I wish they were all like this one!!!
