Motel is badly in need of renovation.. The service was nice enough but every thing was just worn out. It is a good location and easy to get to.

This was our second stay there and we really like the staff and very comfortable beds.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of updating in this hotel. Carpets in the room and third floor hallway were worn, stretched and dirty. The first floor hall was recarpeted, so maybe they are upgrading. There were ice machines on only the second and third floors but I was told the one on the second floor was broken. I think the hotel is pretty […] dated. On the up side, the bed was really comfortable and the staff, everyone, was really friendly and helpful. It's not going to be my first choice for a place to stay, but it was adequate for our needs on a trip through NM. Mehr

The room they gave me a key for had the door open. The room was made up, but the A/C was torn apart for repairs I assume. I called to let them know, and they offered a different room and were very apologetic. The staff was friendly and customer-oriented. A good location right off I-25. Walls were a little thin, however.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel is close to a lot of places. It is not a five star hotel, but a decent place to stay for the price.

The room was nice but the morning shower was cold, and that clearly shows that the house keepers are cleaning the rooms with cold water.

Great Hotel for an Overnight Stay. Maybe a little pricey for the the condition but for a single night and a continental breakfast - not a bad Deal!

Was satisfied overall with the stay. You have to check the address close because of another La Quinta on the other side of freeway. Felt the breakfast was not up to standard. Room was comfy and very quiet. Front staff was very helpful. Enjoyed the stay and would stay at this location again.

Exactly as you would expect. Clean, no frills room. Free parking, breakfast, and wi-fi.

All things were fine except shower head whistled and did not stop. A little disconcerting in the morning. Brought to front desk attention.

Good prices and clean. I have stayed in hotels before that charge extra for dogs. Not La Quita! Also the last Motel gave our dogs Fleas! We are from Vegas so I know where the fleas came from! La Quita Hotel was super clean and we even got free breakfast! Thank you, Cynthia

A slighhtly older hotel than the other LaQuinta across the highway, but still excellent price and excellent service. Very quiet. Just updated some amineties. Staff exceptionaslly helpful, pollite, and cersed in area services.

This is a very well maintained Quality Inn, with nice rooms and clean. A llittle old but lots of services such as pool, fitness room, and above all a breakfast unlike most. Biscuts and gravy, sausage, eggs, waffles, cereals both hot and cold, Danish and muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt, and on and on. Enjoy with a free newspaper and TV. A great motel.

Checking in was very quick, and the girl behind the desk was pleasant. I had stayed at this La Quinta Inn less than a year ago, and thought the place was clean. This time, I didn't feel that way. The hallways seemed dirty, with trash in them. The room also didn't feel clean, and the carpeting needed to be restretched. The bathroom shower curtain had […] a strong sour smell, and the tub was discolored by who knows what. I went down for coffee at 6:00 a.m., and none had been made. The front desk clerk was gone, so me and another man waited until someone returned. One of the other workers approached the desk clerk and asked if there was any coffee. The clerk just shook his head no, and had no explanation. There's a lot of motels/hotels to choose from in Albuquerque, and I won't be returning to this one. Mehr

The price for the room was reasonable; however, it had a musky odor from the damped carpet leading from the bathroom. And the drainage from the shower was very poor. Good thing it was just for a one night stay. The location was good. It was convenient to the nearest interstate and nearby restaurants.

We stayed at this property and the directions took us to the wrong place. There is another La Quinta Inn a few blocks away. The desk clerk said that they had about 15 others who came to their site instead of the correct one. The hotel was ok, but when we went to our car the next morning, the car next to ours had its back window broken out and some of […] their posessions were on the parking lot. We asked the hotel clerk if the police were called and she said they had. The police stated that it was their policy to not come to the scene until the break in was reported to them by the owners. Yikes!!! The car and items were in the same place and condition when we left 1 hour later. We were told by another hotel guest that a similar break-in had occurred the previous day. We immediately checked out (had reservations to stay 2 more days) and found a more secure area. Locals have told us that Albuquerque is in the top 10 cities for vandelism. The desk clerk also stated that similar break-ins happen all of the time! Mehr

Dirty floor, Worn-out towels,

the hotel is clean and has a great location no noise, so we were able to rest and continue to Carlsbad caverns we stayed just one night breakfast was good the recepcionist was the best! friendly and helpful there is another La Quinta across the highway, it can be confuising

After reading the other reviews we were expecting more. First room smelled strongly of smoke...so did the second room we were transferred to. We went and bought air freshener. The carpet was buckling in several places and the room seemed dingy. However, the shower head was very nice (because I would not trust the tub to take a bath) and the breakfast […] was better than most. We will not be staying there again, for the money, I'm sure we can find somewhere less..."dingy" Mehr

it was a great location easy access to the main events but far enough from the not so desirable crime ridden city.

Only the beds are special. La Quinta has been advertising their nation wide hotel makeovers. This hotel was very clean, freshly painted, carpeted, tiled etc. In almost every way it is a very average hotel. The TV is small (the old UN-flat type) the bathroom is small with a basic tub/shower combo. The breakfast was typical free hotel breakfast. But the […] bed - that was a treat! King size and comfy. Bottom line: if you are looking for a clean comfy place to SLEEP this is a good deal. The location is quiet despite the fact that the hotel actually runs the length of a freeway exit ramp. It is on the edge of a commercial industrial district so not a lot of night life. There are some restaurants within a couple of miles along the frontage road. I recommend the Gengis Grill, if you like that sort of thing. Cracker Barrel is just across the highway. It is not really close to anything, but nothing in Albuquerque is really very far from anything else in Albuquerque. The hotel is miles from the airport but we got from hotel to airport parking in less than 10 minutes. One important note: There is another La Quinta on the other side of the highway at the same exit. The other one has the more prominent sign. We went there first. The desk clerk was nice and called across the street to check our reservation and politely sent us along. If you want the one with a Denny's in the parking lot it is the other one. This one doesn't have that. Mehr

A little close to the highway, but I had played 18 holes of golf on an extremely windy day in Alb, so I slept well anyway. A follow-up call to my room after I checked in to see if the room was satisfactory -- a nice touch. Better than average breakfast choices.

First, at 3:00AM when we arrived. The keys to our room would not unlock the outside door, at the end of the hotel, to get into the hallway. I had to walk back to the front dest for new keys, I walked back to the car to get the luggage and tried our keys in the outside lock. Again, the keys would not work. I walked back to the desk for new keys, then […] back to the cae and the outside door where my wife was waiting. Again, the keys would not work. I went back to the front dest and asked the clerk to try to get us in and even his work keys would not work. Once we got into the room the toilet would not flush properly and ran water all night. Our room was to be non-smoking but, it smelled of smoke and even had a burn mark on the night stand. The room seemed old and worn-out. Mehr

This is the hotel that is on the West side of th 25. Nice, howevr, the pool was not looking good at all. The will probably clean for summer but disappointing for spring.

Good place to stay at a decent location near I-25. Clean and not too much noise from the freeway. Decent value.

We have stayed here before. The location is close to the interstate. There are no restaurants close by, the streets are poorly lit, the frontage roads are a pain. The hotel and staff, however are clean and friendly.
