Best Western Cityplace Inn - Dallas

Ich war ziemlich zufriedem mit dem Hotel. Man sollte nicht lärmempfindlich sein, da das Hotel im Grunde direkt am Expw liegt. (Dallas ist als Stadt an sich aber recht laut). Das Hotel serviert ein Full Breakfast, das den Namen auch verdient. Wer zwei-drei Tage in Dallas verbringt, sollte sich dieses Hotel näher ansehen. Service und Freundlichkeit waren […] ausgezeichnet. Reasonably priced and well located. Noise leaks from rooms and outside a bit, but not bad. Bathroom was nicer than expected with marble.

Very convenient location close to downtown for a very good price, room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was very good and the staff was always checking there was enough of everything at all times.

We requested a non-smoking room but due to hotel being full had to take a smoking room. Couldn't really go to another hotel at that point, so had to stay. We were there for the Dallas Marathon and had hoped to shower afterwards, but couldn't get a late check-out due to occupancy. Both understandable reasons, but rather disappointing.

The hotel was clean and the room big enough but it wasnt anything different to any other motel I've been to. There was a problem with my check in and reception had me standing around for 30 mins while they were sorting it out and it wasnt until the manager turned up that they gave me a key to my room. Staff is friendly and nice. Rooms are clean! Plus its a great location to downtown Dallas.

I really enjoyed my stay here for recent business trip alone. It was very good value, the staff were really nice, there was a good breakfast included. The room was very comfortable with a nice coffee machine, hairdryer and ironing board and a large TV. The fitness centre is very small but there is a running area called the Katy trail within walking […] distance.My only problem was that I had to travel downtown everyday and had to get a taxi which cost approx 10 dollars each way. A well above average Best Western in a great central Dallas location. Good hot breakfast (with eggs and meat!). I'm impressed.

What I liked: they were more than happy to let us take a late checkout, however, the only thing that I did not like about this hotel was that they did not relay the late checkout info to their cleaning staff, so we kept getting a knock on the door. Other than that, very reasonable rates and friendly staff. Fun coffee shop in the same parking lot.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Had to wait outside in rain to check in through window!

We chose this hotel simply as they allowed dogs and were located close to downtown Dallas. The location is very convenient if you have business in downtown but need a place that allows pets and has plenty of free parking. The rooms were very clean and the staff helpful. The only downside is that the location is along a busy offramp and is very noisy. […] It borders a neighborhood that seemed a little seedy. We were awakened many times by noisy partiers next door. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything the guest next door are doing. This would be our only complaint. Also, while dogs are allowed, there is no where to walk them, no grass only a busy highway and parking lot. Mehr

This Hotel was close to everything and it was clean. I loved the small fridge and microwave. The only draw back is that, this hotel is not pet friendly. So just be warned. I encourage everyone to visit the excellent 24 hour cafe affixed to the hotel. Buzzbrew is awesome. Did not want to eat anywhere else.

This hotel is right off the main road there and I was kept awake at night by the road.

close to downtown, they keep a guard in the parking lot 24 & 7 so the cars were all safe, as were we. room was clean, good TV, internet access. good bkfst with sausage & eggs

I have no complaints about this place. It was affordable, clean, and conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again.

We decided to stay in Dallas at the last minute and booked this hotel. It was very convenient for the McKinney Trolley which was 10 minutes walk away, the room was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was the best we've had on this trip, it had hot food, bagels, waffles, etc... instead of just the odd croissant. If we go back to Dallas, we'll definitely […] book this one again. Mehr

Liked the place ..Clean rooms....Ample parking and you get everything around the place. Breakfast variety is limited but is good. And there is a deli attached to the property which is open 24/7.

The night office staff was very nice and polite, the day staff, with the exception of the manager were just rude... the front desk attendant called me at 12:10pm and say I had 10 minutes to get out of my room and the house keeper will not stop knocking on my door. I mean people is Saturday morning...give me a break!! No late check out, and when I try […] to rebook my room they had already rent it to the the next person with out me even checking out...talk about get out or get out...so to say the least i was planning to stay another day in TX, but there were no hotel rooms available... After reading the previous reviews i was under the impression i was getting what i paid for. Not the case at all, the area of the Hotel was really great, room was really clean, comfortable. The cost of the hotel was AWESOME! Honestly thought that with the cost i wasnt going to get much, other than that i was getting close to the area i needed to be […] in. Not the case at all, I got a really good deal price wise and like i stated before i got so much more. Only thing that i didnt care for was the staff was a little out of it, A few mistakes were made on their behalf...But were also fixed as well! Mehr

I chose this motel because it was convenient to Dallas Theological Seminary where I was going for a meeting. Some of the earlier reviews sort of scared me, but my room was toward the back of the motel and I did not hear any road noise. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, appeared to be freshly painted. The parking might have been a little […] tight if there had been full occupancy. Breakfast was good, although I would skip the adjoining diner next time. Its menu was just a little too healty and veggie for me, and I am a non-coffee drinker and that seemed to be another of their specialities. As I drove into the neighborhood the next morning I was not impressed. While I was having breakfast there was one loud and troublesome guest that the staff gracefully got out of the room. Overall, the motel shows some of its age but is a clean comfortable place and I would not mind staying there again. Some reviewers seem to want the Ritz-Carlton for Motel 6 prices. This motel is a good value and very convenient to the downtown area. Friendly staff. Mehr

Frequent visitor to this hotel. Only problem: PARKING AT NIGHT. This hotel shares a parking lot with the adjacent restaurant and the security they hire does not adequately control access so the restaurant patrons (mostly the drunk after 2am crowd) fill up the lot.

I liked how clean the room was with the exception of the carpet. After walking barefoot on the carpet, I not the next morning while showering that the bottom of my feet were black from all the dirt. The carpet needs to be shampooed more frequently than what they are currently doing. Other than that, it was a great location in Dallas and the surrounding […] neighborhood is beautiful. Lots of places to eat, shop, workout at the gym, etc.... Overall....I'd definitely come back to this particular location. I recommend this hotel. Mehr

This is a motel right off the hwy. So if you like a hotel than is loud at night. You will like this. The website does not say this is a motel. We only used the room to sleep so it serve a purpose.

As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." This place actually exceeds the expectation. VERY well situated for the Cedar Springs nightlife, popularly priced, comfortable, clean, rooms. You can ask for what more? Want elegant? It comes with a price. Want sensible? This is your place.

Close to everything you wanna see. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Needs better shower curtains, though. Fride, micro, coffee pot. What more could you want in the the sub-$100 category? What can I say, I keep coming back.

For the price, you can't go wrong, especially for the frequent business traveler who likes to visit Cedar Springs. Close, comfortable, and the right price.

This is a good hotel in an area that is mostly devoted to corporate buildings. The hotel was built some years ago, but it is well kept up, has a swiming pool and was more than adequet.

Stayed here twice before. Major selling point: proximity to Cedar Springs nightlife. One additional pain discovered this time... there is VERY little control over the parking lot adjacent the adjacent 24-hour restaurant. Like all such establishments, it attracts the after 2am crowd and the parking lot is jammed full. There was an unarmed security guard […] (not a real good idea- get some real security or don't bother) near the entrance presumably to keep an eye on the parking lot goings-on, but he seemed largely disinterested. Consequently, many restaurant patrons slipped unnoticed into the hotel parking area. Coming back late, I found there was nowhere to park. I had to motivate the night desk person to do something about it, stressing that I was sure that everyone at the hotel that night couldn't possibly have brought two cars with them. Mehr

THE ROOM was very clean, comfortable with new mini fridge, microwave, and 1-cup coffee machine. with good, cold a/c. The electronic room safe didn't work most likely due to a neglected […] dead battery. THE POOL was another matter. It's located in the middle of the busy parking lot they share with the adjacent 24-hour restaurant. The deck was literally 3 feet wide, precluding any possibility of rotating your lounge chair fully around to follow the sun or permitting someone to walk by, and has a low, open fence/wall which offers no privacy while sunbathing whatsoever. It was littered with uncollected trash, cigarette butts (because there are no ashtrays to speak of and I'm a smoker), and a wad of gum which I stepped in barefoot. The housekeeping manager and staff, despite the fact I brought it to their attention, went back and forth about their business unfazed and the next day at checkout it was still the same. LOCATION was unbeatable, being around the corner from the Cedar Springs nightlife and shopping (the only major attraction of these accommodations). The adjacent restaurant, Buzzbrew's serves an awesome cup of coffee in a hip atmosphere sort of reminiscent of a Seattle coffee house, and the food's pretty good. Overall, what you might expect if you want a cheap room close to the party circuit and little else. I've paid less for better about the same distance from the Cedar Springs strip. Mehr

Rummet var rent och sängarna var bra. Rummet var ganska standard, och hade gratis parkering. De hade en okej frukost och pool vilket var skönt när det var varmt. Det fanns tvättmaskin och ett motionsrum med löpband och cykel. Läget var toppen, gå bortom McDonalds över gatan och fortsätt ner en bit till uptown, så har du hela shoppingstråket och restauranger […] framför dig. Ta trolleyn som är gratis och åk runt och titta lite. Vi åkte på drive-in bio, till Southfork Ranch och till Stockyard. Kan rekommendera alla 3 aktiviteter. Stockyard helst på en helg för det mesta var stängt när vi var där en vardag. Mehr
