Es war alles in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sauber, der Service einwandfrei. Vor dem Haus bedienen 2 Buslinien die Haltestelle, sodass man maximal 10 Minuten auf den nächsten Bus warten muss, der dann in 10-15 Minuten am Hauptbahnhof ist. So gesehen, ist das Hotel wirklich gut gelegen. Störend war nur die laute Straße. Fenster offen lassen war nur mit Oropax möglich. Wenn möglich, sollte man ein Zimmer auf die andere Seite buchen, da ist es bestimmt leiser.

sehr gut, gute Lage ca. 5 Min zur Trainstation, Frühstück zu teuer - 16 Euro, Alternative in einer Bar gegenüber für ca. 8 Euro.

NH City Centre Amsterdam befindet sich mitten in Amsterdam. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar: Begijnhof, Amsterdam Museum und Königlicher Palast. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe gehören: Dam Square und Nieuwe Kerk.

Die Herengracht und die Keizersgracht repräsentieren mit ihren prächtigen Patrizierhäusern aus dem 17. und 18. Jahrhundert das klassische Amsterdam. Einige dieser Häuser dienen heute als Museum, darunter auch das so genannte Kattenkabinet, das wohl zu den exzentrischsten Museen Amsterdams zählt. Die Amstel ist ein kanalisierter Fluss, auf dem sich zahlreiche Hausboote befinden und der zwischen der Keizersgracht und der Prinsengracht von der viel fotografierten Magere Brug (Magere Brücke) überspannt wird. Der schwimmende Blumenmarkt ist ebenfalls ein beliebtes Fotomotiv.

"Parkgebühr 40 Euro pro Tag"
Gutes Hotel, zentrale Lage, Frühstücksbüfett auch gut. Nur die Parkgebühr beträgt 40 Euro pro Tag!!! Würden aber trotzdem wiederkommen dann aber außerhalb parken.

Das Hotel liegt ziemlich zentral, alles kann zu Fuss erkundigt werden. Die Zimmer sind recht klein und richtig wohl fühlte ich mich darin nicht. Jedoch für junge Leute, die einige Tage in Amsterdam verbringen wollen und keine zu hohen Ansprüche haben ist diese Hotel weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr Zentral und doch in ruhiger Lage.Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu erreichen.Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gross.Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gross und wird bis am Schluss immer aufgefüllt.Grosse Auswahl an feinen Köstlichkeiten. Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei Abreise kann man das Gepäck in einem abgeschlossenen […] Raum aufbewahren lassen und bekommt eine Nummer dazu,so wird das Gepäck auch nicht verwechselt. Sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältniss. Mehr

Great hotel and pleasant stay... Proximity to main tourist locations was very helpful... I would have been even more glad if hotel had included breakfast and wi-fi in bedroom(free wi-fi is only in the lobby)...but still not too much to complaint about !

Good location, easy access to public transport, no noice from bars/clubs, good everyday room cleanup with fresh towels, free safe for your passport and other stuff you won't carry around. The overall experience was good. Not a five star, but I rather give it a 3+

The location is great and the rooms are adequate, but the staff is useless. They have no information about the surrounding area. If that is not an issue, then this hotel will be fine.

I enjoyed my stay at the NH City Centre. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and modern throughout. Although street side, the room was quiet as very good windows keep noise out. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. Wifi is only available in lobby for free in 30 minute intervals. Would have preferred free wifi in my room. The restuarant next […] to the hotel is very expensive and breakfast at NH a bit high. An inexpensive bakery is very close however, as is a very good moderately priced restuarant across the street. The NH city centre hotel was a very enjoyable stay 4 myself and my girlfriend on our 1st trip to Amsterdam. It was amazingly located close to all the main attractions and sight seeing spots. Our room was not the best looking out onto a brick wall but they were more than happy to change us to a room with a canal view and I must say it was an amazing […] room. The only negative I have is when we were checking out there was a hidden fee of €9.90 for city tax. It would of been nice to be aware of this charge but all in all we had a great stay at the NH city centre in amsterdam. Mehr

The hotel was pretty easy to find from the #1, 2 or 5 tram, and the staff at reception were welcoming and friendly. The foyer is very nicely laid out, with an endless sweet supply on the reception desk. Location of hotel to many attractions was ideal for us e.g. less than 15 minutes walk to Leidseplein, a main shopping area. Our room suited us quite […] well. Three single beds accommodated the three of us perfectly for our girls' city break. Everything was very clean, though slightly dated in some areas of hotel. Comfortable and clean, serviced everyday. The only complaint we had was that the breakfast cost 20 euros each (15 if you booked breakfast as you check in). This is a steep price for breakfast. However there are plenty tearooms & cafes nearby. We only had breakfast in the hotel the first morning. We didn't eat in the hotel's own restaurant so I cannot comment. There are some restaurants along the street near the hotel and you can walk to many others. Mehr

Decent hotel - very close to dam square and all the regular tourist spots. Hotel itself is set in a typical amsterdam building (very steep stairs etc) but it is very clean.

I have not stayed in other properties in Amsterdam before but this hotel was excellent. European hotels are usually tiny compared to Western Standards but this room was adequate size and well appointed. "Small but comfortable"
Hotel room was small by American standards. Clean linen, in room fridge and hot pot were a plus. We arrived during a snow storm and -20C weather and were concerned about having a radiator in the room as our heat source. Once the room was heated it was nice and cozy and provided a nice refuge from our walks and tours. Friendly staff and great location. […] Will return if the opportunity arises. Hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of most of Amsterdam. Room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable. We were beside the house keeping station which was a bit noisy in the morning. Also our double bed was just two single beds put together which was annoying. We arrived to find 2 single beds when we booked a double. They changed our room with no hesitations but to fund they had charged us again for the new room which meant we had no spends in the bank on the sat night ... They did give us the cash back straight away but hassle of phoning uk to find out where money went, back and forth to hotel was a pain..... […] Be aware of this when checkin in as the girl who made the mistake didnt know what she was doing ... We spent 3 days here before taking off for our next destination. This was convenient to most of the things we wanted to see (and were able to get around on foot to all of them). The drawback to this hotel was the price compared to to others in the area. We spent 1 day in another hotel on the way back and it was twice as good for half the price. Very whell located, in the heart of Amsterdam. Don't believe in the number of stars... small rooms with nothing but the strictly necessary. Parking fees are very high if you're ravelling by car, but not mentionned anywhere. Summary: quite expensive for what it provides, next time I should try other options.

Nice location relatively close to all the attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was always clean upon our return. Very secure, key card needed to enter hotel, use lift and enter room. Furthermore, a safe comes free with the room. Overall, everything was how it should be. Nice hotel, relatively quiet, good location. I would recommend […] it to anyone. The only comment i could make against it was the view from our window. "Slow reception, hotel is nice but run down"
The hotel has probably seen better times but it is conveniently located and it was a good price. Checking in took forever and even though I signed for the express check-out I still had to wait at the reception before leaving...
