Everything ok, staff are extremely polite and happy to help, breakfast is good, hotel is clean with no bad smell, even though I was arrange to a noise room , the one next to pop machine, It made can't sleep the whole night . I am too lazy to find it out until the morning when I step out the room I realize. I went to breakfast around 9 which they said […] they are almost close. I told the staff to get me some eggs and sausage , they refill it for me right away. The sausage is cold, I told them about it and they change right away. The only thing not good is the place is sitting in a construction area with no mall or food surrounding. However pricewise this is a good decision to take this hotel Mehr

Everyone was really nice and helpfull. The room was really clean and quiet place to stay. The morning hot breakfast was great too. The food was hot and everything was right there.

The room was fairly clean, beds comfortable. front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful. They gave us wrong information for where we could go to get a bottle opener, advised we walked to the Chevron Gas station, which we did to find out they've never sold bottle openers. The front desk staff then laughed at us as we walked away from them after […] complaining about the mis-information they gave us. There was a cockroach in the bathroom under the coffee pot, (which took several phone calls to find out why there was no carraf for the coffee pot). The Comfort Inn is a basic hotel and I expect that but it needs some help. The neighborhood is run down and under construction which is a good thing for the future but not right now. Cleanliness was hit and miss, hair stuck on the shower head and walls. The main problem is the guests who stay at these type of hotels. This is a comfortable hotel in a convenient location, easy access to I-5 and downtown Vancouver. The breakfast is exceptionally good. The windows open and the heating system works well. However, someone on the cleaning staff broke my partner's electric toothbrush (probably by dropping it on the floor). The desk clerk did not offer to pay for the damage […] but instead referred by partner to upper management. We were also somewhat taken aback to find dogs staying at the hotel, but when one of them barked persistently the desk clerk moved us to the third floor, no problem. Mehr

Based on comparable hotels and prices, this place is A good deal. Decent breakfast, plenty of parking, good rooms and comfortable beds. TV should be switched with frig cabinet though. Can't see TV while sitting at desk.

Great hotel. Clean and friendly staff. We had a beetle crawl on my husband while he was sleeping. The desk clerk said it was a "tree bug" and that they've had it happen before. We were just happy it wasn't a big bed bug (which it did resemble). Also the hotel charges your credit card a $50 incidental fee and it takes a few business days for them to […] refund it. They're essentially taking a loan from you, which in my opinion is unethical. They also did not inform me of the charge so when I saw it on my credit card online statement I was alarmed and had to call the hotel to find out why. That was frustrating. This is a very basic hotel that serves the purpose of sleeping. The room was small but clean, the pool was a little murky and needed treatment. The breakfast was adequate but no hot chocolate for the non coffee drinkers.

I have stayed here twice. Once in the two queen bed room, once in the king suite. Never again. Here is why: 1. Smell: Our room stank of barbecue sauce from the previous occupant for the two days we were there. How well are they cleaning? 2. Shower: Pulses from hot to cold. Only a few of the openings in the shower head emit water. Shower head protruded […] from the wall exposing pipes. 3. Lighting: Ceiling light flickered all night long even though turned off. 4. Noise: Loud conversations through walls, the train all night. 5. Horrible bed: You just can't fit a family of three in these rooms. In the tiny double queen room you can't pass between the bed and the dresser if someone else is standing there. The King suite is just a normal sized room so you can walk around more freely, but putting a third person on the sofa bed is torture. Worn thin grubby looking mattress, too short for a teenager so feet stick out. You feel the bars in your back all night. 6. Pool: Cloudy, with debris on the surface. No pool towels provided. Broken steam room. No soap in pool side shower stalls. You need to shower after swimming in cloudy water. 7. Breakfast room: Really crowded. Long lines. Broken waffle machine. No room to move around. Must wait to sqeeze behind tables for items like napkins. Eggs terrible. 8. Everything in the hotel is kind of worn looking. Not exactly dirty, but tired and old. 9. The year before a team mate's car was broken into in the parking lot. Mehr

They have a long list of amenities and features. But it feels like the absolute bare minimum was provided for each of those amenities and features, to allow them to "check the box" saying they have it. Older facility and it shows. Could definitely use better maintenance.

This hotel was much better than I had expected! Room was clean and comfortable, lobby was nice and clean, staff was friendly. The only "issues" I had were small; the elevator was very small and the continental breakfast wasn't great. It's free food, so I can't complain too much. Settled in a residential area, the hotel was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room - including shower, great continental breakfast with MANY selections, easy access to highway and downtown. We would surely stay here again.

The room was very nice, the bed was sooo comfortable, and the location was easy to get to. Very Close to Hwy 5 and close to Hwy 205. Lots of little places to visit and close to downtown. The only downsized was the size of the hospitality room where the breakfast was served. The area was small, but the breakfast hit the spot. :-)

good for the price. there isnt a whole lot around thats walking distance but the location is still good. the staff was friendly and the room was clean. my only problem was the noise. i could hear every time someone walked down the hall, turned on the shower and someone across the hall had a dog that wouldnt stop barking. i'm a deep sleeper so this wasnt […] a big deal but if you are then maybe this place isnt for you. other that that, i had a good stay. would stay again. Although our 2 double-bed room was small, it was very clean and comfortable. Nice beds and comfortable bathroom, though the water pressure was a little weak. Great morning breakfast with home-made waffles. Easy I-5 access makes for a convenient location for travelers.

Great room for the value. Quick freeway access, decent parking. The room and bath were clean. Breakfast was hot and ready on time. This is not a relaxing or extended stay hotel, but a good value for your money facility. I would stay here again.

My room was on the fourth floor; none of the soda machines nor the ice machine worked on that floor. I went to the first floor and the coke machine was totally empty. Only the pepsi machine worked; I don't drink pepsi so I bought a bottle of water. The coke machines on floors one thru four were all empty. NOT GOOD. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. My car was packed full of stuff during my move and never had a concern. Not far from airport or downtown Portland. Room was small, barleys barely fit the two beds and desk. But it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I would stay here again just not eat the breakfast.

The rooms were very nice, though uncomfortably too small ( very crowded). The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. They were helpful with directions many times and helped with a problem with our TV. The movies that was available to order were way too expensive! More information with the busing system from the hotel would have been very nice. […] I liked being downtown, but I would have like to have more information available at the hotel about places to visit. We would have like to be able to rent a DVD and watch it. Our stay was very nice, and my only complaint is the size of the rooms. Actually, I had thought that it sure seemed as though they were trying to cram as many rooms into this hotel as possible-everything felt a little squishy, but even though, we did have fiun and everyone was very pleasant. The dining staff was the best I have ever had at ANY hotel. I had both breakfast and dinner there. They were helpful, cheerful, and friendly! They remembered me from day to day, as well as my prior day's selections. They all should be acknowledged. In particular there was one very nice lady, I did not get her name. The rooms are small an overpriced. Kids were running up and down the hallways. My room keys didn't work and the front desk couldn't find our reservation and we had to help her find our reservation. The elevator was broke and we were on the third floor with lots of luggage. This hotel should be priced at 49$ a night.
