Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 16. Feb. 2013Mich hat die zentrale Lage und der zum Buchungszeitpunkt günstige Preis angezogen. Der Service ist mittelmäßig. Die bis zu 3 Portiers langweilten sich am Eingang anstatt dem Gast beim Gepäck zu helfen. Die Concerges waren o.k.. Der Lift per Zimmerkarte gesichert und die Zimmer geräumig und leise und mit einem übergroßen TV ausgestattet. Bad könnte moderner sein. Parken sollte man besser in einem der zahlreichen Parkhäuser in der Innenstadt. Frühstück ist billiger und besser in einem der zahlreichen Coffeeshops oder Diner in der Umgebung.

Es gab ein Zimmer mit einer integrierten Küche, das Geschirr war sauber und Herd, MIcrowelle und Kühlschrank funktionierte einwandfrei! Sollten wir noch einmal nach Oregon fliegen, wird das sicher wieder unser Hotel! Wie in USA üblich, lässt die sich die Sauberkeit mit deutschem aber Standard nicht vergleichen, aber in diesem Hotel kam es schon sehr nah ran ;o) ! ! Es gibt kein Frühstück und der "Shop" ist nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Es gibt einen Raum mit zwei PC´s die von den Gästen genutzt werden können. Freies WLAN ist auch zu haben. Die Menschen an der Rezeption waren durchweg total supernett!! In fuläufiger Umgebung ist ein tolles Diner mit dem Namen Sharies, welches rund um die Uhr geöffnet hat. das haben wir leider erst auf der Rückfahrt entdeckt, empfehlenswert sind die Blueberry-Pancakes ;o)) Also, wer keinen Luxus erwartet, wird hier nicht enttäuscht.

Die war die ganze Nacht im Dauerbetrieb. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ganz ok. Das Frühstück war im Preis dabei und für amerikanische Verhältnisse ganz gut.

Carpet had stains everywhere. Linens not clean. Holes in the comforter. Not pinholes mind you - but five holes about the size of a quarter. Throw it out already. The staff was friendly and nice. "Not a hidden gem at the price......"
This is the typical mid 70's road side motel tucked in to a shopping district. The rooms are small with low ceilings, and the lack of a recent remodel or serious cleaning makes it very close to disgusting. The staff is nice and friendly, but overall this is only some place you will want to stay if all of the other local chains are booked (Marriott, […] Hilton, etc.). Besides the convenience of the location, and the friendly staff, the hotel was not the best place we could have stayed, which we knew, for the price. I stayed at this hotel just 3 days prior and the room was fabulous. This stay the room was not as clean and it was very hard to sleep as the small fridge kept clicking off and on and the room this time was so tiny the fridge was right there next to me! This room was on the 3rd floor my last room was on the 2nd. Overall for price hotel is good value. […] But decor and cleanliness was different from one stay to the next one room to the next. The hotel was cheap all the way around. The price was low yes! The breakfast was so-so. The TV came in very fuzzy and was very old. I think it was on its last legs. It still had the old Nintendo 64. If you just need a cheap place to stay and you are not expecting to much this is your place to stay. This Shiloh is not up to the same standard as all the […] other Shiloh's that I have stayed at. Good place if all you need is a place to sleep. Poor WiFi reception in room. Minimal TV channels. Continental Breakfast was all pre-packaged cereals, pastry, bagels, bread. Not much else. "Entire Staff was great.Hotel Sucked.Time to update"
The room type(Queen w/sleeper sofa) I paid for was not a room type offered in the hotel. This is a problem for hotel and Expedia. Then I was upgraded to king w/sleeper sofa and sofa had no mattress. Won't stay there again.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"clean room, hot showers, and easy freeway access"
The Shilo Inn Tigard provided us a clean room with and hot showers while we were driving through Oregon. Easy access to\from the freeway, the free breakfast consisted of cereal and yogurt, the coffee was decent. Our room was pretty bland and boxy, the window-mount AC kept the room cool, I didn't notice any obnoxious noises coming from other areas of […] the building. "Horrible place compared to Tigard Phoenix Inn"
Stayed just one night and moved to The Phoenix for the next three nights. Rate was exactly the same but the quality was incomparable! Tiny ill maintained, hot room with peeling wall paper and horrible bed vs. King bed with office/ living room area and great AC at The Phoenix. "more front office help"
The front office help needs more help. she was doing her best but the computer was messed up, the hotel overbooked and guests were getting irritated with her for things that were not her fault. The router went out while I was waiting, ice machines were broken so you could only get ice by asking her to get it out of the back. I felt really bad for her, […] she kept trying to get help but no one came. After we finally got checked in which took considerable time, everything was good. The room walls are not very sound proof. (adjoining room). The so called breakfast was very substandard even for the rate. I didn't bother and went out for breakfast. The staff was cordial and helpful. Service question is too vague. The room was small, but the price was low, so per square foot, it was ok. The shower head needs attention.
