This Hotel was clean and had many places to eat at just accross the street. They had free breakfest and there was great parking..excellent off the freeway access. As a world traveler this was a great clean and safe place to stay. Hot shower and large rooms and great towels. We came in from Spokane for the Gonzaga High school State Base Ball games. We always stay here when we come through this area. It is nice, clean, affordable. I honestly cannot say anything bad about it. My kids really enjoy that the pool is open 24 hours and the continental breakfast offers many things. thanks again for another great stay!

JJ checked us in and was GREAT. She always called us by name and had a smile to greet us. The rest of the staff were also very pleasant and helpful. They were finishing some upgrades which made the hotel look and feel clean and well kept. The hot tub/pool was clean and not to much chemicals. We will be back.

Shilo is the easiest hotel to find in Tacoma. It is located across the street for food choices and few more just past 72nd. The room was so big the guest was over whelm with the size of the room. It might be time for a remodel but it has been our family favorite for years.

I needed a hotel for a last minute business trip. While this was by no means a four or five star hotel, it was clean, quiet and convenient. The hotel desk attendant was extremely efficient and professional when she came across a computer glitch that almost lost my reservation. She did a great job!!

We were at Shilo Inns one night, and left the next morning after their continental breakfast. Check in/out staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Towels were soft, I like that. We had a very restful sleep and breakfast was refreshing. Would have loved to use the pool facilities but maybe next time.

The hot tub was out of service. Our shower was freezing. The breakfast was terrible. My apple juice tasted like chlorine. Won't be going back.

We have stayed here before and the staff is always friendly. Clean rooms, free parking and a Starbucks right down the road. Also, within walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Easy access to I-5 makes this a hotel a must have when traveling.

The staff was pleasent and helpful, the room was clean and the beds were great as was the bathroom. The only negitive I have is basicly the smae with most motels, that is the breahfast lack imagination, the waffle batter produces a waffle made of cardboard however the danish and bagles were good.

Despite being close to the freeway, the room was comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was well stocked and had options for low carb and gluten alergies (eggs, yogurt, juice, in addition to the standard pastries and waffles) The rooms were clean. When we arrived on a 60 degree day the air conditioning was turned to its strongest setting and the fan was on maximum. Very chilly. We changed the setting to heat and moved the heat setting to 6 of 10...No degrees settings. We left immediately for several hours and the temp was a bit high at #6 so moved it to 5 and went to bed. Changed it to 4 while […] we went out for the day. When we returned we intended to see if #4 setting felt OK for sleeping. HOWEVER, when we returned we discovered that housekeeping had reset our heat to air conditioning and moved the temperature setting to coldest possible just as we found it when we arrived. Outside temp high 50s, inside temp, LOW 50s. Housekeeping got my wife one other time when she turned on the shower and they had changed the shower setting so that she got blasted with cold water from the shower head instead of the water coming out of the spout. Then a couple minutes later the hot water was depleted so she finished her shower with cold water, too. I waited about 20 minutes and the water was hot when I started but it was cold before I finished. This was at 5:50 AM so should not have been competing with too many tourists using the hot water. Room would have been nice if it weren't for the freezing temperature of the indoor air and the shower water. Management warned us not to leave anything in our car. Sign in Elmer's Restaurant across the street warned about "smash and grabs" in the neighborhood. Mehr

The hotel was close to the highway and you could hear it all through the night. The room was dated and need of an update. The bed however was very comfortable and the linens were excellent. The lobby area was pleasant and the breakfast had a number of options but focused on the unhealthy fast and convenient side.

Overall everything was OK but not really up to the standards I expect from Shiloh Inns. Main complaint is the showers went from warm to cold and back to warm, never really hot. There were too many cords plugged into power strips. I had to unplug something in order to plug the microwave in. Time to update the rooms. the Staff was very friendly and helpful. […] The front desk clerk that checked me in remembered my name and greeted me by name whenever she saw me. Security called and reminded me to take my GPS out of the front window of my pick-up. The gals over seeing the breakfasts were on the ball and kept things filled. Mehr

We stayed overnight for a soccer game with the family, and had no complaints. The room was fairly large and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate - but I wish they had peanut butter in addition to cream cheese. The pool looked good, but we got in too late to want to swim. Room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and convenient. There is coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, and wifi. TV is the old CRT type but works fine for me. Hotel is located next to I-5 but noise level is minimal. Front desk staff is friendly. Large parking lot available for hotel guests.

I was abit hesitant to book a night here due to some sketchy reviews about the neighborhood. We had a pleasant overnite here starting with a very warm and cheerful greeting from the front desk clerk. Our room was clean and well outfitted. Bed was comfy. We got a fourth floor room away from the freeway which helped to keep traffic noise down. Pool was […] well chlorinated and hot tub, steam room, and sauna are a definite plus at this price point. There are some indicators that this is not a brand new hotel and has moved down the tiers like scrapes along the hallway walls, dinged tiles in the pool area, peeling paint here and there but it falls into cosmetic needs. The lobby was immaculate and stayed that way even thru breakfast time. Breakfast has the usual range of items including waffles and is kept well stocked and meticulously cleaned by the attendant. There are several other restaurants within walking distance....Elmer's directly across the street, an Ihop and Burger King a few feet further and farther along Round Table pizza. If we come thru the Tacoma area again we would definitely stay at this Shilo again. Mehr
