Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 16. Feb. 2013Mich hat die zentrale Lage und der zum Buchungszeitpunkt günstige Preis angezogen. Der Service ist mittelmäßig. Die bis zu 3 Portiers langweilten sich am Eingang anstatt dem Gast beim Gepäck zu helfen. Die Concerges waren o.k.. Der Lift per Zimmerkarte gesichert und die Zimmer geräumig und leise und mit einem übergroßen TV ausgestattet. Bad könnte moderner sein. Parken sollte man besser in einem der zahlreichen Parkhäuser in der Innenstadt. Frühstück ist billiger und besser in einem der zahlreichen Coffeeshops oder Diner in der Umgebung.

Es gab ein Zimmer mit einer integrierten Küche, das Geschirr war sauber und Herd, MIcrowelle und Kühlschrank funktionierte einwandfrei! Sollten wir noch einmal nach Oregon fliegen, wird das sicher wieder unser Hotel! Wie in USA üblich, lässt die sich die Sauberkeit mit deutschem aber Standard nicht vergleichen, aber in diesem Hotel kam es schon sehr nah ran ;o) ! ! Es gibt kein Frühstück und der "Shop" ist nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Es gibt einen Raum mit zwei PC´s die von den Gästen genutzt werden können. Freies WLAN ist auch zu haben. Die Menschen an der Rezeption waren durchweg total supernett!! In fuläufiger Umgebung ist ein tolles Diner mit dem Namen Sharies, welches rund um die Uhr geöffnet hat. das haben wir leider erst auf der Rückfahrt entdeckt, empfehlenswert sind die Blueberry-Pancakes ;o)) Also, wer keinen Luxus erwartet, wird hier nicht enttäuscht.

Die war die ganze Nacht im Dauerbetrieb. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ganz ok. Das Frühstück war im Preis dabei und für amerikanische Verhältnisse ganz gut.

the room was clean, but outdated, the Bed was comfy. The hotel was quiet and had nice landscaping with pretty views and a pleasant sounding fountain. The biggest downfall was the lack of hot water. I only stayed one night, and let them know on checkout. The man at the desk told let the maintenance know right away, so hopefully the next guest did not […] have the same problem. "Interesting layout. Didn't need stairs on hill."
This location has an interesting layout as it is built onto a hilly area. Becuase of this, even though I had a 3rd floor room, I could park in back and walk on the same level to my 3rd floor room. Others could part at a different part of the hill and easily walk to their 1st floor room. Little things could make this a lot better. The bathroom had a […] few hairs behind the faucet. The water glasses are covered with strech plastic wrap. The ice bucket had what looked like a piece of corn chip in it. I had to move the nightstand to plug in a CPAP machine and found lots of dirt and grime behind it. This was a piece of furniture that a maid could easily clean behind. It's too bad. The place is close to do it right and with a little work this could be a really nice place. Staff in the restuarant at breakfast were great. Reception desk was great. Excellent experience with wonderful lobby of dark stained wood, knowledgeable staff, and central courtyard with two large fountains patterned after a sunken Japanese garden. Both the building and interior of the room look old. It still uses real metal key not the card. The carpet looks dirty although it maybe clean. I do not feel comfortable inside the room. We were surprisingly happy with out stay. This Shilo Inn was cozy and had some personality. They even gave us an old fashioned key for our room! Breakfast was the best comp breakfast I've ever had a hotel/motel. I would definitely stay here again. "Not what I expected"
This is probably one of the most outdated hotels I have stayed at in quite some time. I heard that some rooms are nice and they must have been in other buildings. I stayed in the King Room building and everything was extremely dated, I felt like I stepped into 1980. When I checked in, the person that checked me in had no idea when breakfast started […] or ended, didn't give us vouchers for free breakfast and when I did get breakfast, we had terrible service and didn't get what we ordered. This hotel is a blast from the past. While everything, such as the decor and electronics, were older, it added to the feeling of being transported back in time. It was very comfortable and clean. "close to our needs"
overall the hotel was great! Close to what we needed and convenient to lots of other things...shopping, OMSI, movies, etc. We had a room with 2 queen beds. One of the beds was so hard we could not use it...was like sleeping on a board....the other bed was perfect.....breakfast was great and our waitress was delightful and very helpful getting us directions […] we needed for our gymnastics meet. My son has food allergies and they made sure everything was perfect!!!! Would stay here again if I could guarentee better beds. My child loved the gazebo and fountains!!!!! The rooms are older, but have been updated from the 70's look, although they can't seem to shake the 70's feel. For the money though, there are no complaints. This hotel is older but reasonably clean and comfortable. But the complimentary breakfast was awful. Eggs were runny and potatoes bland. Brought my wife the wrong cereal. Worst of all was waitress. She took our order and then disappeared. When order finally came, she disappeared again. Guests were coming in and being ignored for up to 15 minutes. "Good bang for the buck"
yes, it's dated but if you don't need to spend a lot of time in your room, you can't beat the price. There is a "newer" building on the property that was updated about ten years ago according to the front desk staff. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but needed soem minor maintenance such as replacing the caulking […] around the fixtures but they worked. The TV is an old style CRT and the text was a bit fuzzy. My son, who stayed in the room, dictated to me for the review. He felt like the inside of the hotel and the rooms were much nicer than the outside. "Great Hotel and Restraunt"
Room was ready when we arrived. It was very clean, and nicely decorated. The only down fall was we did not have a comfortable chair to sit in. The staff were friendly and very accomadating to our needs. The food in the Mark, and the sports bar was excellent. My hat off to the chef. the check-in was FAST and friendly. the lobby was nice & inviting. out room was easy to find, clean, the bathroom was clean. the TV worked good. the free breakfast was a quality full meal served in a real restaurant ( not a cook your own waffle & cereal ) the price was very competitive. we like this beaverton shiloh inn. we have stayed here 6 times […] in 2012, and will continue returning. The location was excellent, I rented the room for me to stay after NYE's party which took place 2 blocks away. The room was recently updated, had new TV, and the bed was comfortable, and everything in the room was in excellent condition. The breakfast which was complimentary was good. The restaurant need more servers to handle the flow of people wanting […] breakfast, one food server and about 10 tables at one time.
