Hotel wird von lokalen Lastwagenfahrern besucht und ist nicht sehr sauber. Es liegt an der Autobahn und ist ein wenig laut. Es ist nicht unbedingt für Touristen geeignet.

There on business and it was a nice hotel to crash for the night, room had a fridge, microwave, and seemed clean but the smell of cleaner and air freshener was over powering when we first got there. The bad: TV was from the 80's, the carpets are in need of major replacement throughout and their continental breakfast is a joke which was in the lobby. […] Walking distance to a pretty cool bar is the only reason I would stay there again. This hotel was nothing special but a fine place to stay for a night given the price. We were disappointed to find that the hot tub was not working, seemingly permenantly. We did use the steam room and sauna, defiantly not expected in this type of hotel. We had issues taking showers due to changing water temperature.

Hotel nice-employees very rude. Check in time is A JOKE. Got there at one thirty was told by rude employee that I could not be checked in until three. If I had not paid for the room on my credit card and it was well passed time to cancel I would have chosen another hotel

Convenient to Interstate and the rooms were serviceable. Although better than sleeping in the car; this hotel has seen better days and is the perfect example of 'getting what you pay for'. The front desk staff though were helpful, even with the late check in.

the tv and internet worked great, the pool was small but nice, the room was visibly clean and comfortable except that it smelled like smoke when you walked in. We didn't complain or switch rooms, but should have, when we got home, all our clothes smelled like smoke and I had to do several loads of wash just to get them all clean. They needed to disinfect […] the room better to get the smell out, and make sure no one smokes in their rooms or charge an extra large fee to people that do. We've stayed at a couple of Shilo Inns, and this one was about the same quality and condition. Good for the least expensive sleeping accommodations when you're not spending a lot of time around the hotel, but certainly not a destination for relaxing at. The location was convenient off the Interstate, and there are several nearby restaurants. The facilities […] feel older and dreary, and the carpet and comforter didn't seem like the cleanest. But, no bed bugs and adequate for our purpose. Plus it was the cheapest available by far. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. I would stay here again as a road trip stopover. Mehr

You get what you pay for I guess. Room was small and felt cramped. Maid service was lacking. Hotel description is misleading most of the amenities it said it had were not there or broken. Wow we're do I start . One the smell in the room . Two walked down to the pool area smell of urine in hallway get to pool and it looks like a crime scene. Three got back to room my wife's eyes were so red and swollen from something in the room. Four went to get her a tissue and there was a used one in the box. Five went down to talk to the front desk […] and all you could smell in the hall way was pot smoke. My whole 15 min stay was bad! Mehr

This hotel needs major updating. There was mold on the bathroom floor along the tub on the floor. It smelled like old smoky rooms and it was disgusting. The rate I payed was too much for what I got.

This hotel is old. It has no elevator, which was very difficult for me. It is so old they still have actual keys for the rooms. The breakfast selection was meager, with nothing hot. Broken hot tub. Run down pool/spa area. Drunk guy hanging out with the clerk who checked us in. No cable TV (broken). And the best part??? Police banging on another guest door. Creepy! Definitely never staying here again.

Hot tub was broken, has been for months according to staff. Pool was discusting, not clean. No where near the amenities that they had listed. Holes in the bedspread, loose sheets that weren't changed. Towels weren't replaced after you used them. Hot water didn't work in tub.

Hotel was modestly price due to the high demand for hotels in the area. Hotel seemd to be catering to transient workers in the area rather than traditional travelers. Its decor and furnishings were dated and worn.

If all you want is a bargain hotel and don't care at all about your room, your bed or your breakfast...I'd still suggest you look for something else. This was probably the third worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at plenty. The whole hotel is in ill repair! Made reservation on the internet that guaranteed late check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 8pm to find they had put someone else in our room so supposedly gave us an upgraded room with a microwave and refrig. There was no refrigerator, the air conditioner didn't work, the door would not close properly, the carpets were […] disgusting, etc.. After a long day of hunting, we returned to find we had been locked out of our room - the receptionist who checked us in the night before said "you were supposed to check out today" - uh, no... I paid for 2 nights - "oh that's right". Couldn't wait to leave this hotel and will never return!! Mehr

Hotel could definitely use some upgrading/remodeling. Doors have standard doorknobs and separate deadbolts; use a real key to unlock door. Staff personnel were nice; they were accomodating when I asked for 2 queens instead of a king. The cleaning team did best they could with the old, outdated rooms. Beds were ok. TV is small 27 inch old type with 26 […] cable channels. Microwave and Refrigerator in room were clean and worked well, although microwave was missing the rotating plate. When my son and I opened the door to our room, we noticed a foul BO odor, an unmade bed, flip flops on the floor and a suitcase. Obviously this room was occupied. We went back to the front desk. Okay this can happen - no big deal. After a very long wait, we finally got the keys to a different room; however, the new room was no better. It too had someone […] else's items in it.  We went back again to the front desk.  My son and I decided to go to dinner while the clerk figured out what room would be ours.  When we got back, the front clerk and were both there. The manager said they had no idea what was going on with the rooms. They didn't have a record of anyone staying in either room. The keys for both rooms were there and in fact they had trouble getting to one of the rooms.  They told us that we had the choice to stay in one of the previous rooms or in a room with a single bed and they'd bring in a rollaway bed. I chose the single bed room because I was afraid the owner of the things would come back in the middle of the night.  This room was not even close to the quality listed in the hotels.com picture and had a really bad odor. I was tired of the hassle and decided not to complain again. After all of the headache and ending up staying in a smaller, the manager didn't take anything off the cost of the room.  It was a pretty substandard experience.  Mehr

I purchased my room using the Expedia Unpublished Rate Hotels. I have done this in the past and had great results. We got to our hotel and received a non-smoking room. It smelt awful. We went back up to the front desk and were told that we had been put in the old smoking section of the hotel that is now non-smoking. We were then given a room in the […] old non-smoking section. The room had an odor I couldn't place and the furniture had seen better days - all scratched up. The doors on the rooms were all scratched and banged up and looked like someone had tried to break in at some point. Some of the rooms you could see light through the door jams. When looking at the pool it had some brown coloring at the bottom which I assumed to be dirt. The hot tub was out-of-order. The best part of his hotel was the lobby. My children didn't feel safe here so we ended up going to the Marriot. I'm very disappointed with the hotels management for having photos that show the hotel to be nice that are misleading. I stayed at this hotel 11 years ago and it was decent but not anymore. Don't stay here. It is dirty, smells terrible and is so run down. I'm also disappointed with Expedia because it states that "Our 2-star suppliers include Comfort Inn, LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Days Inn and other respected hotel brands." The Shilo isn't close to the quality of those hotels. Mehr
