Zimmer mit zwei Betten leider nur als Raucherzimmer bekommen. Das war sehr unangenehm und konnte auch nicht die Klimaanlage ausgleichen. Fenster liessen sich alle nicht öffnen.
Lage
La Quinta Inn & Suites Lakeland East liegt in Lakeland in der Nähe von: Lakeland Square Mall und Joker Marchant Stadium. In der Umgebung befinden sich: Lake Mirror und Lakeland Center.
Ausstattung

"In between Tampa & New Haven"
We had a good time. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast!! Would return in the future.
felt very safe. room was a little small, but all we needed. they let us check in early and changed our room to a first floor room, per our request. very nice

"Disappointing"
We found the hotel disappointing. The room was small. The decor was mediocre. The breakfast area was too small to accommodate all guests. In general, we would not recommend this hotel.

was very comfortable, clean and convenient. We plan to check in again next year. Very to the Tiger's Joker Marchant stadium.

We stayed in an accessible room. It was very comfortable with the exception: I had difficulty getting around the furniture in my power chair. Perhaps the furniture could be a little smaller or less.

Great location, nice, clean room but dogs barking in a hotel at night ???!! .... for the entire 3 days ??!!

"LaQuinta Inn Lakeland East"
Arrived late, around 10:30PM. Had reserved a king room. Overheard the desk clerk complaining to a manager that those rooms were overbooked and a frequent LQ traveler did not get one and was not happy. So I said, its okay, two double beds are fine. Well, a room was not ready. Another manager was cleaning one up at the time. We waited in the lobby for […] 20-25 minutes for the room and finally got in at about 11PM - are you kidding me? There was some kind of dog show in the area so lots of dogs running around - but they were quiet and well mannered so no problem there. Got to the room and the room was a surprise. Clean furniture, crisp HD smallish tv. But the beds were way worn out. Springs were sprung. Carpet was a bit "shop worn" as well. Not the quality expected at this price point. The poor desk guy was running as best he could but the room was not up to snuff. I stay in this price point all over and this bed was awful. Breakfast was minimal also. The location is wonderful; right near food and major highways and the staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. My only vice would be the sketchy wifi and tv reception.

"Great Experience"
This was the best hotel we've stayed at for the price. The service was exceptional. From maintenance to housekeeping to the front desk, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and with many upgrades. We stayed here for 11 days and were very comfortable. The location is on a dead end street with other hotels and a car dealer. […] It is preferable to get a room opposite from the interstate because of noise. The parking lot is very shaded. We had our dog with us and they were very accomodating. "two issues during stay."
We had a pleasant stay at your hotel except for two issues. Early one morning the toilet overflowed in our bathroom. I threw towels down to pick up the water but when the guy came to unplug the toilet he mopped up the remaining water (and whatever was in the water) with towels and I did not see or smell any cleaning product used to disinfect the toilet […] or floor after the toilet was unplugged. He laid some smaller towels down and left. I was a Housekeeping Supervisor at a VA facility in Massachusetts and we had a procedure for cleaning and disinfecting a bathroom after an overflow toilet incident happened. Luckily I had disinfectant wipes and used them after the guy left. The one other issue was the group of men smoking outside the entrance to your hotel. I am not sure if they were employees of the hotel or guests of the hotel. Maybe a posting of "Do Not Smoke in this Area" may help because my sister in law has trouble breathing in smoke. Mehr

Even though my stay was only one night, I could not have asked for a cleaner, safer, and more pleasant of night staff. If I return to GCCC next year, I will certainly book at La Quinta Inn & Suites again!

Hotel is convenient to shopping and restaurants. However the hotel didn't have much frills. Example no refrig. In rooms. Coffee pot but no cups....pet friendly but room reeled of kittie litter smell....no place to hang clothes. Guess you get what you pay for
"La Quinta - Very friendly staff"
Carpet looked ok, but white sport socks were filthy after walking on it for just a little while. :( This reinforced my thought that I should always take house shoes to a hotel. Bathroom was clean, and that mattered more. :) Staff was VERY nice.
"Lakeland East-La Quinta: not great, but economical"
If you're looking for luxury, find another hotel. If you want a decent room at a fair price, stay here. Probably better suited for travelers on a budget who can live with outdated rooms and common areas. Staff was great, linens were clean and cost was right. No bells and whistles, but comfortable beds to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel personnel was very friendly. The rooms were clean, grounds well kept, shaded parking, and restaurants within walking distance. Was very pleased with the hotel, down to the palm tree shaded parking lot to keep the heat off my car. The hotel appeared very newly remodeled after learning that it had been done 3 years ago. "DON'T GET ROOM 119"
I am sure just about every other rom in the jotel is fine, but if you get assigned room 119, decline and go elsewhere. They really need to close up that room. It opens up into the lobby. People pass in front of your door, talking the entire 24 hours of the day. The elevator can be heard from this room. The highway can be heard this room (and half the […] rooms of the entire hotel). Very satisfied with our experience and will stay here again. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and breakfast was adequate. Suggestions: 1) BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW (I did thank goodness)...the hotel pillows were as hard as rocks, but the beds were very comfy! 2) request a room opposite the highway...quieter.

"Certainly not the worst"
You get what you pay for. Discount prices, discount room. However, it's in a nice area, and the fact it is pet friendly was our biggest selling point. Really can't complain.

We were bowling in a state tourn. it was close to both lanes we enjoyed it very much.

This is a great place to stay if you are just looking for inexpensive lodging and not a "resort experience". The Hotel was very nice with clean rooms and a complimentary continental breakfast. One of the nice touches was a fresh hot waffle you could make yourself every day. However, the menu never changed - you got the same choices every day and that […] could get a little boring, but there is a Cracker Barrel within walking distance for a change of pace. I did find that for 6 days I asked for a lightbulb in my room (since it was completely missing from the desk lamp) but never got one. They also forgot to make the beds twice in my 6-day stay, and the pillows were pretty hard, but that's my only complaint. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there again. Mehr

"Great room for the money"
We stayed at the hotel for an event at the local Lakeland Center. The hotel was close enough to drive back and forth and close enough to grab breakfast and dinner when needed. I would recommend this hotel to others.

I am a woman, traveling alone. I am sort of picky side about where I stay. I liked this hotel a lot. The room was updated and fresh. They use aromatherapy in the room and it smelled so very good. Everything was clean. My room was a standard King room and it had a small fridge and microwave in it. Location was good for me. Service was excellent.
