Hyatt Place Albuquerque/Uptown - Albuquerque

2009 we had the first stay there. Now we had a Room with a very small bath. But worse came the beds: the Signs of usage are feelable and take your sleep. If not Air condition does due to its noise - its no modern one. Pooldoor has the same Problem As on 2009! Pool area with no sunscreens.

Das Hotel ist sehr komfortabel, mit Kühlschrank in Miniküchenzeile, riesen LCD und geräumigen Zimmern. Zur Mall nur ca. 200 m. Schönes gemütliches Continentalbreakfast! Leider kleiner Pool ohne Sonnenschutz. Dennoch absolut empfehlenswert.

I would definitely stay here in the future.

Lobby and breakfast area were superb and breakfast was great. But the rooms...full size beds not queen. wallpaper peeling everywhere. Bathroom was horrible, nasty grout, bathtub from 1970's.

They have done a good job on giving the place a contemporary feel. Fabulous bed !! Great service.

our room was next to elevator it was somewhat noisy after 5 am, other than that very confortable.

Great location and resonable rates.

This hotel was literally in the middle of everything. I had a shopping center across from me and a mall on the other side. Chili's was within walking distance as was IHOP. The hotel itself was really nice and the breakfast was great. I LOVED this hotel.

Greeted by friendly staff which gave us a tour of hotel. They weren't sold out so they gave us a choice of floors to stay on then offered to change our room if to noise next to elevator Yes we changed rooms. Never heard another guest. Breakfast was just great. Very clean hotel. Bed & pillows were very comfy, great TV. Good parking Elephant Bar Restaurant […] across street was fabulous. Plenty of shopping at mall across street in other direction. Will stay again next time in Albuquerque Mehr

The hotel was beautiful and we really wanted to stay there. When we checked in they had given someone else our room and booked us next door at the Hilton. The Hilton was very nice but they didn't have queen beds and that's the reason we stay at Hyatt.

I travel to ABQ for business quarterly and always stay in the Uptown area. I was excited to get such a great rate at the Hyatt, but disappointed w/the property. The staff was great & main/public areas of the hotel fine, but the room has had a LOT of wear & tear. Based on location, this property gets a lot of traffic, but I'd expect being a Hyatt property […] that the upkeep would be better. Carpets were filthy, sofa needed attention/cleaning & the HVAC unit blew "soot" or dirt when run-also needs a good cleaning. I'm a big fan of Hyatt properties, but will not return to this one. Mehr

the Hyatt Place Uptown continues to be our favorite place to stay for business or visiting family in Albuquerque. It is clean, modern, and delivers great value for the money. Staff seems unusually motivated to give good service. It is also within walking distance of several good restaurants and two big shopping centers.

The room was large with a nice seating area. Our room was very quiet. The bathroom was quite small but otherwise a nice place for the cost.

Excellent location with food and shopping within walking distance. Their choice of wine was not good but other than that, this is a nice place to stay.

The staff was very helpful when we checked in late at night and the morning clerk was very helpful in giving us directions to a couple of stores we wanted to visit. The room was very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Walking distance to two malls. Excellent breakfast. The choice of items to eat was amazing. Having this breakfast at a restaurant would have been $10! I wil lstay at another Hyatt!

The room was not up to standard. It looked like a budget hotel with a bit nicer furnishings and larger space. The area looked to be THE place to be in ALB, but the police need to do more patrolling.

Hey, I was travel cross county and well I think this was one of my fave. The staff were helpful. The room was clean, beautiful decor, and there was wifi. Wifi is so important! I didnt get to stay long so I didnt get to use the living room space but I was very comfortable in my bed. There was a small con, the bathroom. Literally it was small. There […] was not much height to it and my friend who was tall was a little uncomfortable. I felt very tall in that room. Also the sink was in the outside of the bathroom. Other than that the room and hotel were located near shops, coffee, and food which was a plus! I had a fantastic experience at this hotel and look forward to staying again once when I am traveling. LOVE THE PLACE!!! Awesome layout of hotel, comfortable and really love it. We will be staying at a The Hyate Place anytime there ia one available in the town were in. Didn't understand why the one uptown is always more expensive than the one by airport but we will stay stay there. I rate it a 5 on scale of 1-5

Great location with lots of shops and eats east to find hotel nice city view from room clean great staff ...... bathroom a little small but was very happy with my stay

Although I stayed just one night, the room was comfortable and clean. I will continue to stay there again when I visit Albuquerque.

It was nice to have a room with a living room, it made us feel like we were staying in a small suite.

The hotel was far from the ALBQ zoo. I enjoy the room. Very nice and trendy. The beds were a little hard but great for my husband back. Breakfast was nice just short on seating.

We loved this hotel. It was $30-40 cheaper than comparable high end hotels in the area but felt the same. It is located across the street from an upscale mall so walking to Dinner and doing some shopping was convenient. Staff was very friendly/helpful.

The location was definitely the BEST thing about this hotel. We didnt have to use our car for 24 hours during our 1-night stay there! The hotel was well maintaned and felt clean & upscale. Rooms were great and the sofa was outstanding (for a hotel). Two things we didn't like: the outdoor pool was not heated very well. ABQ is often windy in the spring […] and we could not enjoy the pool. Also a shame they don't have a hot tub. Second thing we didn't like-- 3 out of 4 of us did not like the bed and did not sleep well. The beds were obviously "fresh" (not saggy or anything) but we did not sleep well at all. However, the pros outweighed the cons and we would stay there again. We do plan to try the neighboring hotels to see if the amenties are any better, though. Mehr

Nice work space area. Nice big TV and comfortable bed. Places to eat nearby. Right next to a new shopping area and in good part of town.

Only complaints are a not so comfortable bed and a shower that needs to be hotter. Towels were pretty institutional as well. Good service and well decorated. Too bad they scrimpt on the bed and bathroom. Shower/bath inserts don't give an upscale vibe. The TV input panel was well thought out and the sectional sleeper couch was a nice touch.

We arrived early and were greeted by a smiling clerk who readily let us check in...not even blinking an eye to our request. She was pleasant and we felt we already knew her. She gave us a brief tour of the hotel. Our room was incredible...one of the best we've stayed in. There was a little "living room area" with a couch, an area with a sink and frig, […] coffeemaker, big screen tv. The room had a near perfect layout with excellent lighting, very modernistic looking...aesthetic AND practical. The views from our room were of the Sandias and one of the best I've seen. The location is central to almost all parts of Albuquerque and there is great shopping within a few feet of the hotel. Everyone treated us kindly and the maids spoke English, which was nice to be able to communicate. Room also very quiet...did not hear neighbors at all. As an adult with no children, I very much enjoyed the quiet, the views, the cleanliness, the shopping, the TV. Mehr

We stayed two nights. Hyatt Place is a little different concept that took a moment to understand it all, but worked out well. Check-in/out at lobby kiosk, snacks and limited food service, beer/wine/starbucks. However, it was enough for our needs. Nice location. Easy on/off I-40, across street from new shops. Best stay on our 35-day road trip.

Love they Hyatt setup with a large living room...makes you feel more at home. Great location, very close to good food and shopping....within walking distance.
