Ocean Park Inn - San Diego

Von unserem Hotelzimmer schauten wir direkt auf die Promenade, den Strand und das Meer. Bis Sea World sind es ca. 15 Min. und nach Downtown ca. 30 Minuten Autofahrt. Die Umgebung war ruhig und sehr sauber.

The location of the hotel is great. However, the front desk employees are scam artists. They flat out told us they can charge different rates to anyone. We pre paid for a "full ocean view" and didn't get it, instead we were charged an extra per night for a partial ocean view. We spoke to a lady staying there with her family of 3 and they were charged […] an incredible amount less for a full ocean view and did not pre pay, walked off the street. After questioning the situation a few different times we were told not to worry what other guests were paying. Mehr

The staff could not have been more generous, professional, genuinely friendly, and helpful. They worked with us on deviations from the hotels.com reservation we originally made, honored a lower rate that they had mistakenly quoted us, and offered fast and friendly service. The hotel itself is a little dated but clean, comfortable, with big rooms and […] balconies. And the neighborhood is perfect--right on the beach, and in the middle of a bustling scene. Great location! Rooms are a little bit old otherwise nice stay.

Right on the beach with spectacular views of the ocean. Close to many restaruants and stores. One noisy bar/restaurant just east, but our room was far enough away to not bother us. The staff was exceptional and friendly. We'll stay here again.

a simple but good hotel very close to the beach and good restaurant. If upi stay there, you must visit Jack´s crab shack restaurant where you can eat the most splenden crabs.

Nice Location, can be a little noisy at night due to surrounding bars but otherwise can't beat location. Ocean view room definitely made the stay more enjoyable. No worries in finding a place to park especially if its a busy weekend. Underground secured parking makes a big difference

We stayed the four previous nights at the Bayfront Hilton where the service was poor, we did not get what we requested. The OPI was perfect, quiet, clean and very enjoyable with a great location. What's not to like?

My oceanfront room was terrific. Being right on the boardwalk you have not only a fabulous view of Crytal beach and pier, but it's fun watching life go by... The bed was great, the room was very clean, and we loved the balcony. Only negatives were the incredibly tight parking in the garage and the surcharge (not a big deal) and the swimming pool was […] alot smaller than I thought from the pictures. Overall a nice stay. Clean, comfortable, great location! We stayed in a room overlooking the beach. It was beautiful. A bit pricey, but worth it. I would stay here again.

DO NOT book this hotel if you are a smoker. They will give you a huge fine for smoking anywhere on their property. You cannot smoke anything on the boardwalk, parking lots, on the beach itself, or on any sidewalks. Other hotels allow smoking. This was a HUGE problem that we did not anticipate. When I checked in, the man didn't explain the upfront fee […] which was deducted from my bank account. I felt that I paid way too much money for the condition of the hotel and the room. The bathroom was disgusting. Very old and dirty. It made me feel dirty to use it. Everything had cracks in it and needed to be remodeled desperately. The room had a mildew or wet carpet smell. The walls had strange writing on it. The TV was a flat screen, but they only had basic cable. The continental breakfast was okay. The waffles that they advertise are hard to make. The staff doesn't help either. The balcony was awesome. The view was spectacular. We saw dolphins from the room. The location was absolutely peffect! There is so much to do for any age of type of person. I loved PB but didn't like the hotel. Next time I will stay at another hotel. Mehr

Awesome beach hotel: the right mix between comfort and convenience to the beach! Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants! We were really happy with the location and the price. Having a balcony was really nice because my husband and I could sit up and drink some wine while the kids went to bed early!

the location is right on the beach, just steps to the sand! clean pool and jacuzzi, nice continental breakfast. room was clean however if you are used to 4 or 5 star hotels you may be a litte disappointed. overall a great place to stay!

The room was clean, spacious, and had a fold out bed if you happen to have an unexpected guest. The location couldn't be any better in PB and all rooms have an ocean view. The rate is a bit hard to swallow but all the posative make it worth it. Book it!

Excellent location along Pacific Beach boardwalk. Most rooms have ocean views. Very good service. Can be expensive during peak vacation periods.

Ocean Park Hotel was great for the location, it was right on the beach, and boardwalk. I loved the convience of where it was located with all the fun things to do. It is busy with people, but when you close the door it blocks out all the noise, the noise wasnt a problem. The service was ok, they werent very knowledgable about different resturaunts, […] or things to do outside of Pacific Beach. The continental breakfast was grose, the baegels were dry, and there wasnt much choice. I think they need to change it up every other day for those people that are staying there more than one night. The one thing that irritated me was they wouldnt let us get a late checkout, they were checking everyone out at 11:00am sharp because all the Marathon runners were supposedly coming in a couple hours. It was kinda rediculous, we got locked out of our room because we werent back right at 11:00 am. Our flight wasnt till 7:15 pm that night. They could have let us know about it when we checked in. The hotel room itself, they need to remodel the bathrooms they are in big need of it. The bedroom was ok, carpets clean, pool was nice. The outside has been updated but the inside needs some work. Hotellet ligger godt med balkoner direkte mod stranden.Parkering fungerer godt og er forholdsvis billigt.mange restauranter og butikker i nærheden
