This was my second time staying here. The place outside looked like it was just painted and completely spruced up, the inside was nice and clean as well. The staff were all very accommodating and it's close proximity to the convention center makes for a convenient place to stay. It's a good value for the money.. '

There's a reason the lobby's built with a bullet-proof glass wall to protect the staff. The people in the parking lot gave an impression of a gang or prison yard. Beware...

The parking lot is small and all the rooms face towards it. You will hear everyone get in and out of their car and if they talk in the parking lot you will hear that too. The breakfast was a joke, pre-packaged rolls and cheap coffee. No fruit of juice. The hotel opens to an alley that gets major undesirables. pleasant stay, easy reachable,reasonable price.

We got to our room very early after our Cruise was super happy when they had a room early for us!! Good location close to beach and small walk to other tourist locations. People were very nice and helpful. Room small but cozy and clean.

The advertisement pictures of this hotel is false. The Rodeway Inn did not look like any pictures of the advertisement of it. When arriving you are looking for one thing and you drive up to something completely different. Looks nothing like the advertisement such a disappointment. Good stay, recently refurbished: smart and well kept. Pretty simple, but also inexpensive.

I stayed there for two days for the LB Jazz Festival. I could walk there in 10 mins! Very clean, friendly staff. I had a downstairs unit and would suggest upstairs only as the guests upstairs had no regard to the time. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. The room and the bathroom were great. The location was excellent and within walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. I liked how the 2 beds were separated so it felt like 2 rooms. There is not Enough paking for every room at this hotel the person at the front desk just said so sad to bad.and then said read the fine print on the website says limited parking so we had to park at the best western hotel 2 blocks away and pay7$ next time i will just stay at the BestWestern

The Rodeway Inn was a great find for this neighborhood. Many of the nearby hotels charge much higher rates (to be expected near the convention center). Our room had obviously been updated recently and included a mini-fridge and microwave. I had never encountered this before: to turn on the air conditioning the dead old had to be locked. Their complimentary breakfast foods go quick and complimentary toiletries consist of shampoo & soap. Hard times. Overall this place hit the sweet spot on price/night and location, but could use some improvement on ther details. I'd stay again as long as the visit didn't go over more than 3 days/2 people. Mehr

we were close to the beach for the price, we felt safe.and it was close to the walmart,for exra stuff like beach towels.

If you are just looking for a clean place to crash which is within walking distance to many Long Beach attractions, including restaurants, this will meet your needs. No frills, nothing fancy, but comfortable and convenient.

The pictures are not at all what the hotel implies. The counter is like going to bank teller with a bullet proof glass. Why the glass?? There is not breakfast lounge area I saw just an ice machine outside. It's difficult to sleep with the light on but that's what you have to do to keep the roaches from coming out. the small one in the bathroom wasn't […] so bad but the big one and I mean BIG about an inch inch and a half that I found on my arm in the middle of the night was disgusting. I had to make sure that i cleaned out my luggage and repacked my clothes to ensure there was no stow away. Big disappointment for my trip. On Hotels dot com website it shows a pool in the pictures of the place, it's a Rodeway Inn. I get here and there's is no pool. I ask the counter why there's pictures off a pool but no pool, the very nice person said there is no picture of a pool on ad. I went to my room looked on website and there it is like I said, so I click to enlarge and the picture […] of the pool at Rodeway Inn, is a picture of Quality Inns pool, is says it above it! Look and enlarge picture. The hotel is great, clean, great staff, and everything, but thought I paid for a hotel with a pool. Brought pool stuff, picked this for a pool. But no pool. I want a refund. This was my first time to Long Beach and this hotel. Except for a big cockroach on one of the nights ( i killed the thing, no big deal), the experience was pleasant. Vons is nearby as is the beach, pier and Shoreline Village. I felt safe. The parking lot is a little small. That is the only downside. I would stay there again.

Great hotel to stay in. Did not mind the breakfast even though it is like those store bought cellophane wrapped pastries and coffee. It was something to just eat and go.

Great value. Easy walk to the Long Beach Conference Center. Comfy room, clean, well maintained, good bed. I will definitely stay again if and when I am in Long Beach again.

The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. For the price, I thought it was a good deal. The only criticism I have is that I would have liked to have a small coffeemaker in the room.

The room was nice and clean and more updated than you would expect... and the location is great. Just be aware if you stay near the ice machine... you will hear it. Why people need ice at 8am is besides me.

We enjoyed an evening walk and another in the morning. Staff was extremely helpful and the bed was like a cloud!

The rooms were very nice and the staff was helpful. This hotel is also within walking distance to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, and Clancy's Irish Pub; both have delicious food.

I arrived late in the evening to find that the parking lot was full but the inn had already made arrangements with a nearby parking garage. That was great planning on Rodeway Inn. The parking was even discounted. I was just staying and the room was suitable for a sleep over and left the next day. This is a great place to stay if you're just sleeping. […] It is what it is...It's a room with the basic amenities and a great price for the location and time of year. The hotel and staff were quite nice and it was within easy walking distance to the convention area, restuarants and shopping. However, one thing that made me NUTS was that the iron was chained to the ironing board. This made ironing almost impossible! Extremely frustrating.

the room was really nice, comfortable, well cleaned.........the downside is u could get stuck next to some noisy guest in the room next to you.

Room was great for the price. Room was rather stuffy on arrival but cooled off quickly. Very comfy bed.

The room was far beyond what we had expected for the price. Clean, well maintained, Staff friendly. Overall good stay.

Would not recommend. The listing said free parking, but were required to pay $10 per day. Also, they had no shuttle service, which they said they had when calling ahead. Pictures on website where inaccurate. Parking was extremely limited.

We did come in at 3:30am, but all we needed to do was ring the doorbell and someone came out to the office to give our room keys. This was of course because I called in advance to let them know that our flight was delayed and that I wouldn't be getting there until 3am or so. Overall, the room was really comfy and although it did have a mini fridge and […] microwave, it was a little hassle to plug them in since they are unplugged apparrently after every use of the room. The cool thing about the room is that somehow the a/c and heat will not go on until the deadbolt is locked on the door. I think that is a cool feature and energy saving. I have 2 compliants though. The showeris really way too small. It felt like I was bathing in a little 20"x20" box.Also the parking is really tight, and there were too many SUVs parked incorrectly, so it was a little difficult to park the Dodge Charger we rented for the weekend. The continental breakfast consists of coffee and a few pr-packaged danishes and miffins. They were sufficient for what we needed, but if you want to eat a better breakfast, hit the Denny's on Broadway, just a few blocks away. I love the convinence of having the Vons supermarket at the corner of the block we stayed. It is a sister market to Safeway. It did not have much in selection, but was very convinent for personal items needed. For the price, it seems worth it, especially if you are only staying a few nights. I would stay here again. Mehr

The hotel bed was SO comfy BUT the parking was not good at all there wasnt any because they were upgrading the rooms the parking lot was covered with garbage old furniture and misc. items very ugly and took up over half tha parking lot...

Hotel is located close enough to all the nightlife, but far enough away that the noise stays away. The hotel doesn't have anything extra (pool, jacuzzi, fitness room,etc) but I was only there for one evening and wouldn't have used it anyway. The first room I was in had a perptually running toilet, but I was moved to a better room without any hesitation […] from the front desk. Parking wasn't stellar and the lot was partially filled by construction material. However, I was still able to park. I'd definitely stay here again. Mehr

simple hotel, but for the rate was just right. needed a place to stay near downtown Long Beach for work purposes. this was fine.

The room and service were just outstanding. The checkin was swift and the representative very helpful. The room was quite spacious (single queen bed) and extremely clean. The bathroom was sized perfectly. Included iron and board, safe, TV with a good amount of cable channels. AC included and the neighborhood was good too...we felt safe. The breakfast […] just included packaged muffins and coffee/juice so nothing special at all. Location is fantastic...just a block away from the main street and about 4 blocks from the beach. You have to wind a little to get to the beach so if all you want is beach life just pay for a hotel on the beach, but otherwise this was fantastic. Mehr

Family run business. Nice courteous people. A little bit older place, but clean and well maintained.

Let op: bij dit hotel staan foto's van een zwembad en ontbijtruimte: maar dit hotel heeft helemaal geen zwembad en ontbijtruimte! Zeer teleurstellend en misleidend.

대체적으로 무낙한 로드웨이 인이었읍니다. 가격대비 만족도는 좋아구요. 그냥 Inn으로는 괜찬은 편입니다
