Super Hotel im Herzen von South Beach! Wie andere Gäste schon erwähnt haben lieber etwas mehr ausgeben und ab der 6. Etage buchen, da es sonst abends sehr laut werden kann. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Klasse Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Der Liegenservice und auch hier ist das Personal vorbildlich freundlich ohne ständig wie in USA üblich die Hand aufzuhalten.

kann man nur empfehlen, aber man sollte etwas mehr bezahlen, und ein Zimmer in oberen Etagen nehmen (Signature), Aussicht auf Meer ist atemberaubend. Service super, Zimmer okay, grosszügig.

Das Zimmer ist groß und sehr schön,man sieht direkt aufs Meer. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es gab einen Wilkommens Drink und jeden Morgen von 7-9 Kaffe und kleines Gebäck in der Lobby umsonst. Am strand gibt es Liegen und Handtücher vom Hotel aus angeboten. Für eine Pfandgebühr kann man an der Rezeption DVD's ausleihen.Die Lage ist […] direkt am Ocean Drive, hinter dem Hotel gibt es Parkplätze. Preise starten ab 10$ für paar std und für Hotelgäste 25$ pro Tag. Collins Avenue ist gleich hinter dem Hotel und eins weiter die Washington Avenue. Sehr sauberes Hotel. Top Lage. Eigene Liegestühle mit Badetüchern direkt am Strand. 3 Gehminuten von der Lincoln-Street entfernt (DIE EINKAUFSSTRASSE). 1A Service. Sehr freundliches Personal (teilweise deutschsprechend). Sehr sauberer Pool und Top Bedienung. Muss man gesehen haben.

Ein erstklassiges Hotel, dass ich jedem weiterempfehlen kann. Wer in Miami Beach ein zentrales (liegt genau in der Mitte des Ocean Dr) und luxiuröses Hotel sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Allerdings muss man den Trubel am Ocean Dr auch lieben.

Der Service in diesem Hotel ist einfach unglaublich und so unaufgeregt aufmerksam - ein Traum! Schon bei der Vorfahrt vor dem Hotel wurden wir mit Namen begrüsst und herzlichst empfangen. Das Zimmer ist sehr gross und hat eine eigene Nespresso-Maschine. Die Aussicht ist fulminant und die Lärmbelästigung im 7. Stock kaum wahrnehmbar. Abstriche müsste […] jemand machen, der Wellness oder Pool nutzen will - da geht man besser ins Delano, Ritz-Carlton oder Loews. Das hoteleigene Restaurant liegt herrlich und etwas ruhiger als die umliegenden "Touristen-Fallen". Perfekte Lage mitten im South Beach, wunderschönes Hotel mit eigenem Style, Zimmer mit Atlantik-Sicht buchen. Ein Traum. Wir kommen wieder.

I'm a frequent traveler, and this is one of the top Hotels I have stayed at. The service is one of the best I have ever experienced, Francisco Silva one of the personal assistants did a great job. Should I ever consider purchasing a hotel in Miami, he would be the Hotel Manager ;-) Also the rooms and bathrooms are much bigger than at the DELANO or SETAI […] and also the view from the rooms is much better than at the DELANO or SETAI. The bathrooms are great and very big too. My recommendation, stay at THE TIDES and if you wish go for a drink to the DELANO, SETAI or W. We had a wonderful vacation at the Tides South Beach.  The service at this hotel was exceptional and began even prior to our arrival when the hotel contacted me requesting advice on how they can assist in making it a memorable stay. Upon arriving at the hotel via taxi, I was greeted by name curbside by the doorman (not sure how he knew who I was but […] he sure got it right).  He then escorted us to the front desk where we were again greeted by name and welcomed by a wonderful employee named Sheerley who assisted us throughout our stay.  The room we stayed in was extremely spacious and had a wonderful view of Ocean drive and the beach.  The room had a large comfortable King bed and all the amenities that you would expect to have, except for an iron and ironing board, which were brought to the room promptly upon request and remained with us for the duration without a problem.  The staff all seemed to address you by name and apparently take great joy in doing their job as not one person ever made us feel as we were a burden or as if we were being shaken down for a tip (which we gladly gave as helpful as they were).  It was clear that each of the employees made every effort to make our stay memorable.  I found the room to be quiet and was never bothered by any street noise from Ocean Drive, and certainly not from within the hotel.  The hotel was very quiet and had very little of the hustle and bustle of the many party hotels in the area.  This served us perfectly, as we danced, and partied at nearby hotels and then walked back and enjoyed the serenity of this beautiful hotel.  This hotel was perfectly suited for a romantic getaway.   The restaurant "La Maria" was rarely full but served delicious food and some good "Mojitos", and had a gorgeous outside seating area overlooking Ocean Drive.  The restaurant had nice music playing in the background at the perfect level to hear yet enjoy your table conversation.  In the mornings, the hotel provided complimentary coffee and ligh Mehr

This is a great hotel. Staff is attentive and the facility is marvelous.

We had left a 17 day bus tour and this was perfect for us at the end of the tour and a 7 week holiday in the USA.The staff could not do enough for you. we had complimentary muffin , coffee and croissants until 9am each morning or you could purchase full breakfast or at one of the cafes at a very good price. The hotel is opposite a beach. Beach not always […] swimmable. Lovely private pool at the rear of hotel but if u desire one with a pool at the front looking on to the ocean then you will have to go more expensive elsewhere. We had a studio room with an ocean view. No balcony but too hot to sit out there when we went in August if we were able to. There is a bar next door. Could pick up a bit of noise but it was not excessive and we did not hear it but another couple with a young child in the room next to us mentioned it. This hotel is in the art deco district. There are others further away from the city along this strip but they were amongst more night life and noise could be a problem. I would prefer this location to staying in or near the Lincoln mall as there was no atmosphere in those locations. A comprehensive review and we were totally satisfied. Mehr

We have stayed at The Tides several times through the years and always enjoy the stylish facility, courteous staff who anticipate your every need and the fantastic location right off of Ocean Boulevard, right across from the ocean. The walk to the beach is short and the Tides provides umbrellas and chairs for its guests to enjoy.

Beautiful lobby and really great welcome/front desk team. José and Sheerley especially took care of us with a great recommendation, (Ola @ Sanctuary on James st..) Art deco lobby and overall aesthetic, it was tasteful and elegant, great color scheme. Which is why the elevator stood out. Nice sized pool, you can request a massage pool side which I will do next time we return. Our room was gorgeous and generously sized. U fortunately, the "wall" that divided the bathroom and bedroom was a pattern that basically allowed no privacy. So while in bed, you can see the person in the bathroom showering, brushing their teeth, and yes, even when using the toilet. Pooping requires privacy! We had to tell each other to turn the other way or leave the room which was funny. Great location too, right on Ocean Drive. Carlyle Café right down the street with $4.99 breakfast, awesome. They get you with the 2 for 1 bellini/mimosa/bloody mary PER PERSON "special" since they are $16.99 a pop but whatever, you are on vacation ^_^ and they were massive! We each took our 2nd drink to go and walked to get the early bird parasailing / jet ski! One regret, we did not get to lounge on the beach chaises right on the beach since this stay was really a planned "2 night layover" on our way to a friend's wedding in Colombia. They take down your room number and set you up, umbrella and all. We looked up the other TIDES hotels, they are part of Viceroy, the one in St. Lucia and the plantation look awesome. We are planning our next trip and plan on staying with them again =) Hotels.com was great too because I found a cheaper rate online after I had booked and since they had the price match guarantee, I called up customer device and they refunded the difference. We stayed at the Tides at South Beach for our honeymoon for 6 days. It was a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and everyone working there was very nice. Apparently, hotels.com has the best deals on the rates. There were many people commenting and taking pics of the hotel. When we return to South Beach we will stay there again.

We chose to stay at the Tides based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We visited for our honeymoon in July and the service was impeccable throughout. Fantastic location on Ocean Drive overlooking the Beach, I don't think anything could have been better - we would love to go again!

Hotels like Ritz Carlton, W Hotel, Fountainbleau are cheap than "The Tides". The web pictures are very very far away from the reality, belive don'y take this option.

This hotel was beautiful. The service was top top notch. Everyone was so friendly with our personal consierge that helped us the entire time. We were always greeted by name,and asked about our dinner or our plans. Just the little touches were amazing. However, if you want a clearer view of the ocean, stay above the 3rd floor.

I was very impressed with the Location. The Oceanview Room was spaciously luxurious, outstanding details from the dressing room to the sheep skin carpet, oh and the Marble Bathroom. The welcome Cocktail was a much need touch (very yummy). 24 hr Pool just to much!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Staff and the convenience of having our vehicle waiting for us was just […] worth every penny. I booked an Oceanfront room suite and it was fantastic. Large room with a huge bed and the best ocean view on Ocean Drive. And wonderful staff. Not a cheap place, but worth it. Would highly recommend it. If you can. ask for a corner room--more light and even better view. Room 506 is great.

I've travelled the world, and this has to be one of the coolest hotels around. The design and style is amazing, and the service is second to none. When did you last stay at a hotel that exceeded your expectations? These guys actually foresee what you might want in terms of service. No need to ask. Luxury comes at a cost, but this is well worth it.

This was one of the prettiest hotels I've ever stayed. The stay was inhanced by the friendliness and extremely professional attitude of the hotel staff. The beds were extremely comfortable. The food was delicious. Loved the whole experience.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The service was excellent - very freindly. The room as modern and surprisingly larger than expected. Location was very good. All around a very good visit.

It's a beuatiful boutique hotel. They treat you like a star. The staff can't seem to do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The location in the middle of the historic art decco area is perfect for admiring the architecture and walking to all the great restaurants. Definitely let the concierge recommend the good places to eat.

This hotel was awesome! service was great, food was great, cant say enough about what a great hotel experience we had here. It was such a relief to have a sanctuary from the huckster-ism of the restaurants and bars on the south beach strip.

We had a corner room with a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was very large and comfortable. The service of the hotel staff is the best I have ever experienced. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience the ambiance of South Beach.

All the positives of a great hotel. I think the restaurant hasn't been talked up enough. It was as good as anyplace we've been in Miami or elsewhere. It's no longer 1220 at the Tides, which got less than stellar reviews.

This was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at.

The hotel has been recently redecorated since we stayed there in the late 1990's and early 2000's. The staff and service are outstanding. Most of the staff recognized us by name. O Tides antes era um oásis no meio da confusão da Ocean Drive. Com as mesas na calcada eDJ tocando altíssimo no final de semana, se igualou aos demais hotéis da região. Se o objetivo da sua viagem e ficar na confusão, o Hotel ira atender pois tem instalação e serviços excelentes. Para familias recomendo a area de Collins perto da Lincoln.

Defeitos: estacionamento caro, sendo que a menos de uma quadra há um estacionamento […] municipal coberto que sai quase a metade do preço. Eigenlijk niets op aan te merken. Personeel zeer vriendelijk. Kamer ruim en schoon. Direct aan de beach. Kwaliteit van het eten in het hotel was goed, maar niet super. Dit is geen probleem ivm de vele goede restaurants binnen een straal van 300 meter.
