Overall good experience,nice help at the front desk when needing info on the area. No refrig. or micro were only downsides of the room. TV was older style but worked fine. Nice priced food directley accross street to the left on the corner also subs as a bar. Best for breakfast and quick eats.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel. Excellent location in the French Quarter. The front office staff were very helpful,especially Ava. Room was clean but a bit dated.Bathroom was spacious and clean. Located basically on the corner of Conti and Bourbon street, the hotel allows you to walk all over the french quarter of New Orleans without having to hassle with parking, etc.

When I complained about the noise level of those in the next room partying until 3:00 a.m. until one of them became violently ill (we heard everything), I was told "welcome to the French Quarter!".

the only complaint I would have with Prince Conti was in the bedding and pillows...the bedding was very dated and if you like to actually have some semblance of a pillow - might wanna bring your own! Three together didnt even equal ONE at my house!!

This hotel is in a great location if you want to take in the Buorbon street festivities.The room is clean and it is suprsingly quiet even though it is 1/2 block from Buorbon Street. Would stay again if ever in New Orleans.

Staff is rude. They stiff you for parking. Rooms are dated & have a cheap motel look.

This hotel is in an excellent location in the French Quarter,just a few metres from the nightlife,but quiet inside. The staff are very polite and welcoming and the rooms are kept immaculately clean. We did not find the same good service in the cafe,but the service and breakfast in the german cafe across the street is excellent.

Hotel was located in the French quarter and within walking distance to many attractions. Our room was large and comfortable. Bath room was a bit tiny but certainly ample. We would stay in hotel again.

The Prince Conti was a nice experience while in New Orleans. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was nicely renovated in an old hotel that holds so much history of New Orleans French Quarters. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again.

Nice and clean hotel at a convenient location. Just don't eat the breakfast in the hotel cafe. The bread was stale, the coffee was bad and service was slow.

After being in New Orleans for a long weekend, and not being able to find a room at the hotel I was staying at for my impromptu last night, I found the Prince Conti on hotels.com for a very reasonable rate and in the heart of Bourbon st and across the street from one of the better bars I drank at during my visit. Having made the reservation on my phone […] only 4 hours before I went to check it, there was some waiting necessary when I got to the hotel, but the hotel employee at the front desk did his best to expedite the situation and get me into my room quickly. The room isn't anything amazing. It's a straight up hotel room. It was clean though and that's great. For the price and the location, I would recommend the Prince Conti. It's not the nicest hotel in the French quarter, but it does the job if you can't break the bank. Mehr

My girlfriend and I stayed here last weekend for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. We had a blast! It's an older hotel, so don't expect anything too fancy. But, hey, you're in NOLA, you shouldn't be spending too much time in your hotel anyway! This hotel was perfect for us. It's right off Bourbon Street, but the rooms are still quiet. Also, it's a very […] short walk from anything you'd want to do in the French Quarter, and it's only about a mile walk to the jazz clubs on Frenchman St where we spent a lot of our time. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Prince Conti for a long weekend in New Orleans, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The location is perfect (one block from Bourbon St., a few blocks from Jackson Sq), and the service was great. The Staff was great. The hotel is only blocks off Bourbon and Royal Streets, we didn't need a car to get around for the weekend. The hotel was clean, the mattress could have been a better quality, along with the towels, but it was not a deal breaker for us.

The staff of the hotel were extremly helpful and courteous. The location was great, central for the French Quarter and Cemetries. Great time, we'll stay there again.

I selected the hotel because of its proximity to another hotel which was booked. I decided to ignore the less than favorable feedback of former patrons; however upon taking the elevator upstairs, quickly began to regret my decision. Upon approaching the hotel I was immediately impressed by the outside and staff friendliness. However, the rooms were […] filthy; my bed linen was soiled with crust and other unidentified stains as well as cigarette burns. The carpet was filthy. Luckily I brought my own towels as those were dirty as well. The bed was inadequate for sleeping and so worn that the springs were felt with every turn. Stayed here Wed-Fri. Very clean but older hotel. No complaints about anything. Must valet park here but is worth it. 1/2 block from Bourbon St. but has very little foot traffic from the main drag. On a quieter block so no loud festivities to keep you up late at night. Very good value when I stayed here. Would definitely reccommend this hotel.

Great location. A little off the craziness of Bourbon st but close enough to it. Room seriously smelled like old socks and gym clothes that had been sitting in a locker room from the 70's. Very old everything and could hear a pin drop in the room next door. Perfect for the bourbon st party'er. Not perfect for a quiet's night's rest and sanitary accommodations. […] Windows don't open in my room and had to use ac all night to not feel like I was sniffing Pele's adidas. Well located with dated but comfortable furnishings. Be aware that cleaning doesn't not even begin until afternoon and so when and if you return to rest mid afternoon, the room may well be not freshly made up. Staff helpful, informed. Our room quiet and comfy but small.

Lovely hotel, great location, quiet, clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Only complaint was the lighting in our room. So dim, even with all the lights on that it was almost impossible to read. Otherwise, we'd love to stay there again!

Four of us stayed 2 nites after a cruise and arrived on Christmas Day. The woman who checked us in was less than cordial - answered questions but matter of factly. The other couple was given a room with no heat. Front desk seemed irritated to get them a new key to move. We learned later the room shouldnt have been rented because of the broken heater. […] Staff the next day was nicer. Room was ok but dark. It was clean. Bedspreads need updating. Hallway noisy from housekeeping in the AM. Location is great - 1/2 blk off Bourbon St. Close to good restaurants and bars. Did not use hotel restaurants or club. For the price we got it was ok as we werent in the room that much. I like boutique hotels but this one was not as nice as I would have liked. Others are better for a little more money. Mehr

Staff were helpful and pleasant. Romms were nicely decorated and hotel convenient to Bourbon St. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

very affordable hotel, walking distance to everything you need in NOLA. mattress was a little thin and you should bring your own toiletries, but it's a very fair tradeoff in my opinion. I'd definitely book again.

The Prince Conti is located close to all the major New Orleans sites of interest. While not quite as luxurious as some of the 4-Star hotels in the French Quarter, it is certainly very nice (at a fraction of the cost).

If your business (or whatever you have in mind) is in the French Quarter or lower Central Business District, this hotel is excellent. It's in a safe location near most downtown and French Quarter attractions. The rooms are a bit small but that's normal for French Quarter hotels.

GOOD LOCATION. WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF EVERYTHING. STREET IS A LITTLE SEEDY. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. AMBIANCE OF NEW ORLEANS WAS GOOD, BUT ROOM WAS A LITTLE SHABBY. BEDSPREADS LOOKING WORN AND NOT VERY INVITING. I WOULD LOOK FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE NICER NEXT TIME.

The hotel is quite charming and has a nice breakfast cafe & phenomina resturant/bar. It's a bit old but it's very French so it's enough...clean & safe...just no 'extras". The location could not be any better. The staff is great as well - totally recommend!

Convenient location/clean/friendly staff. Bourbon Street/Decatur/French Market/Canal street all within walking distance. Clean rooms/bathroom is small, though. Staff friendly/smiles/hospitable.

The hotel is a definitely one of the best kept secrets in the French Quarter. It's a block from Bourbon street and it's walking distance to all the great restaurants.
