This is a nice hotel - the staff was very gracious. rooms are nice sized, clean. WiFI was available, breakfast was great. Very close to lots of restaurants, shopping and the interstate. The exercise facilities are ok - doable - but just ok. I didn't like the looks of the pool, but other folks did. Ange was clerk on duty for most of my stay and was most […] helpful. Ange, night desk manager, was the best hotel employee that I've ever known. She was professional and went to great lengths to make sure that all her customers were taken care of and even the people that I met there remarked how wonderful she was. She gave me instructions on how to get to the Metro system & great places to eat in the area and downtown. […] She is a travel agent & concierge for the Hampton Inn's all rolled into one. The hotel staff was great. They helped us with directions to downtown St. Louis attractions and overall just very nice people. The hotel is starting to be a little tired. Our room's door was missing part of the lock and a friends room's bathroom door was broken. Rooms where clean. We spent 3 nights in this motel just before Christmas 2011 and found the motel to be very satisfactory. The desk people were friendly and helpful. The hot and cold breakfast bar was fine for us. Our family had a great stay at this Hampton. We enjoy staying at any Hampton, and this one did not disappoint. The rooms and facilities were nice, the kids enjoyed the pool, and we were close to many options for dinner. No complaints!

Your staff was wonderful and very polite. They went out of their way to help us with a few situations that we needed assistance with. The hotel is located in a great spot for shopping as well as being only about 20 minutes from St. Louis. The only draw back is parking is a little hard to get around. Need to open up the middle area to the street if […] possible. Rooms are a little small, but were very clean. Your breakfast bar also gets 2 thumbs up. We stayed at the hotel because we were going to a Cardinals game. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Pool was very small. Breakfast was adequate and had both hot and cold choices. I would have preferred biscuits and gravy, but they had eggs, pastries, waffles, potatoes, cereal, bagels, juice, milk and I'm sure other things that I'm forgetting. We wanted a hotel convenient to St. Louis as well as southern IL towns we were visiting. This one fit the bill. The room was very clean, beds quite comfortable. Staff were courteous but there wasn't always someone at the front desk. The complementary breakfast offered a nice range of choices. This is one of the less clean Hampton Inn's I have ever stayed in. At the same time, it met my standards.

I was enthusiastically received at check in. I wish I could remember the man's name, but he phoned up shortly after I got settled in my room to check that things were alright. I have just recently begun staying at Hampton Inn's for my business travels, and have found them to be very consistent in overall maintenance and quality. The AC didn't work in our room, and we couldn't open the window, so it felt like laying in a sauna the last night. Asked the night clerk if we could switch rooms but they were full, so he came up to check things out. He couldn't do anything about the AC, but was eventually able to wrestle the window open after a few minutes. But then we had interstate […] traffic noise keeping us awake all night, and then I couldn't budge the window when I had to close it later when a thunderstorm came through. Was the worst night I've spent in a hotel in a long time. The pool was uncomfortably warm the first night, like a warm bath, and dangerous hot the 2nd. By 'dangerously hot' I mean after a short time swimming in it your core body temp would be raised. One of my kids felt ill after swimming in it for about 10 minutes, so we left.. Mehr

south of east saint louis. made reservation quickly and didnt look at the map. wi-fi did not work for me at all! breakfast was awesome. everything was very clean. surrounded by chain restraunts, staff very nice. pool clean but cool.

Very handy location with many restaurants and multiples cinema in walking distance- with great shopping mall just across the main highway

Food: Hotel was clean and well kept. The cheese omelet hot breakfast with sausage patties and waffle were excellent. Loved the fresh fruit available through out the day. Rooms: The friend I was travelling with had a room at the south, I-64 hi-way, end of the hotel and traffic noise was very loud. He was able to move to the north end and was able to […] sleep the next night. The bathrooms are very small and cramped. Service: We played games in the lobby and noticed on several occasions that customers had problems getting a hold of anyone at the front desk, sometimes waiting for 5 to 10 minutes. There was no bell. I saw the empty plate at the front desk but was never able to get a fresh baked cookie the whole time there. Mehr

Hotel was better than expected! Heated swimming pool, great hot tub, cookies in the lobby at night, hot breakfast buffet (with waffles and sausage). They even caled us in our room after we got there to make sure everything was fine in our room. Very nice experience. Only flaw was a small workout room. We arrived at 9pm after a stressful drive on the road. We were pleased to find the accommodations just as we had reserved. The room was updated and very nice. The beds were quite comfortable. We would definitely stay again!!

this hotel was great...I had a king when I checked in though I really needed two beds but we did not get in til 2am so waited til the next day to ask and they were very accommodating even brought the new keys up to the room. Great location...half a dozen top restaurants right on the strip walking distance (red lobster, joe's crab shack, houlihans, etc) […] st clair square mall right across the freeway overpass and tons of other shopping. very friendly staff...and great breakfast. THE STAFF WAS EXCEPTIONAL.......THEY HELPED IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE AND WERE THE NICEST EVER. THE POOL IS IN NEED OF SOME HELP. IT WAS COLD!!! THEY TRIED TO WARM IT UP BUT MY 2 YEAR OLD SHOOK FROM BEING SOOOO COLD THE ENTIRE TIME WE SWAM. ON THE 2ND NIGHT IT WAS NO BETTER AND I WOULD HAVE SWITCHED HOTELS BUT IT WAS TOO LATE. THEY ALLOWED US TO GO ACROSS […] THE STREET AND USE ANOTHER HOTEL'S POOL AND IT WAS GREAT. IT EVEN HAD A HOT TUB. THE BREAKFAST IS GREAT. MOST HAMPTON'S BREAKFAST ARE GREAT SO I WOULDN'T EXPECT ANY LESS. EXCEPT FOR THE POOL, OUR STAY WAS GREAT. Mehr
