The hotel is going through renovations right now. Things were a little dusty; but we knew about the renovation project, so that was ok. The beds were terribly hard. The breakfast was really good.

Would of liked to of know it was under construction. We would of booked elsewhere. We arrived late with our infant. During the night the odour of new plaster was very noticeable

BRUTALLY COLD POOL. If you are looking for a comfortable pool, this is not it. We heard complaints from other customers than the sauna was way too hot also. Breakfast was OK. We ended up eating out again because of the lack of good choices. They are doing construction, but it was not intrusive. Location was close to everything and parking was convenient. Nice to be off the main road. Quiet, Clean and Comfortable. Was under remodeling and the TV didn't work in the room but hey, we weren't there for that!

Easy to find and good parking. They're remodeling, so there was more "stuff" by the entryway - but nothing obtrusive. The rooms were good sized and the beds were comfortable, however, my husband complained that the first bed felt like it was on "tilt" (uneven wear I would suppose). Remodeling and getting new mattress and springs will take care of this. […] The second bed was fine and the bedding was clean. The room itself didn't appear to need updating. The pool, exercise room and WiFi areas were spotless, We didn't have their breakfast so I can't comment on that aspect. I would most definitely stay there again. Mehr

Very convenient to freeway and shopping at Birch Run. The beds are hard but we were only there one night. Breakfast was acceptable and the staff were all helpful and friendly

Very comfortable beds. Room appeared to be clean too. Person @ the desk acted like we were asking for blood to make popcorn for us. She said we had to eat all the old popcorn up before she would make any new (about a cup). The kicker was when my sister-in-laws and I were in the hot tub and a strange man came in to the hot tub and offered his services. […] I began to wonder what kind of seedy place have we been booked at? I politely told him we were all very happily married and didn't require his "services" . That only made him more persistent. Being 3 older women in a hotel, I didn't want to make him angry for fear he may follow us to our room or the parking lot. So what had been planned as a girls shopping weekend left a fearful image in our minds. Mehr

best service ever when booking the room from expedia.ca. great service once at the hotel the beds were very comfortable. actually better than mine at home the breakfast had quite a bit to choose from parking was amble for everyone even though the hotel was almost completely booked. we have been to hotels where we have to make our own spots. we did not […] use the pool as we got in too late and left early. checkout was quick and easy overall this is a great hotel Mehr

Hotel is very nice in location, layout. Pool & spa and rooms all very clean. Service excellent. One problem, the beds in our room # 160 were the worst I've ever tired to sleep on in a hotel. By the end of the 3 days weekend we were so tired from too little sleep we didn't enjoy shopping.

You can hear the people next door very plain.....lots of banging around and kids running around the hotel too late at night

Very nice hotel. Clean and close to both Birch Run and Frankenmuth. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and the beds were actually comfortable. Have stayed there before and will stay again. I have no complaints about this hotel.

Stayed here while shopping at outlet mall. Very spacious room. Nice to have a microwave and fridge. Pool was good but crowded - hot tub was out of order. We really like Pizzaria UNO (worth driving over for the take out - they don't deliver)...especially the deep dish. I suggest requesting a top floor room at the end of a hall. Sound proofing is not […] great and we could hear every footstep of those above us and in the hallway. We will stay here again. Mehr

All the people we talked with were very nice. The hotel employee even called us in the evening to make sure we were comfortable with the room and if we needed anything.
Our room was large and comfortable. The location was great for Birch Run and Frankenmuth. The staff was very helpful and the price could not be beat. The same room in Frankenmuth was much more expensive.

I stayed for just one night as I was travelling and it was very comfortable and clean. It was in the perfect location - close to the outlet shopping as well as Bronner's Christmas store. Very convient location and if I were to return to the area would defiently stay again.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was large and had a mini fridge and microwave. The pool and hot tub were clean and a decent size. The location of the hotel was great. It is right in the middle of everything and close to the freeway. The only downfalls were that the staff was not very friendly and the breakfast was minimal and kind of a disappointment. We were very pleased with this hotel. Clean, friendly and convient. Nearby Frankenmuth and Flint were great for sight seeing, shopping and dining. We would stay here again, and have already told friends about our stay.

I booked on line and requested a handicapped room because my husband is a disabled veteran confined to a wheelchair. Online requests are often ignored. This hotel not only had my reservation but also had a wheelchair accessible room ready at check in. Hotel was clean, in good condition, and service was great!

Clean room, comfortable bed, no noise, accurate climate control, plush towels, hot water... I didn't need anything else. Oh BTW, the work staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful.

"Very Pleased"
I do not know why this hotel only has a 2 star rating. It was very clean and well kept. My husband thought the bed was a little hard, but I thought it was perfect! Once we closed the door, I couldn't hear any noise coming from any other guests. The window opened which was nice - great breeze coming in our 3rd floor window. Continental breakfast was […] what you would expect: pastries, bagels, cereal, frozen waffles. We will stay at this hotel again. Mehr

"Great Hotel Except One Thing"
Comfortable, clean, nice staff, shopping and restaurants nearby, the only thing I didnt' like which was a big deal to me since I like to swim and use the jaccuzzi was too much chlorine. So much that it burned my eyes and I had to walk with my eyes closed to get a towel so I could wipe away the chlorine from my eyes. I could smell the chlorine throughout […] the hotel lobby and some hallways. But other than that it's a great place to stay. Mehr
