Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unser Fenster blickte direkt auf den Nordeingang der Klosterkirche Morimondi. Das Zimmer war ungewöhnlich groß und hätte Platz für eine große Familie geboten, sogar mit Babybett und behindertengerechtem Badezimmer. Unser Anliegen war es, das Kloster zu besichtigen. Es war ausgesprochen interessant.

Einfach schön! Die Nähe zur Superstrade war nicht zu spüren, die Angestellten im Hotel super nett, auch ohne ein Wort Italienisch.Einfach perfekt und empfehlenswert. Tipp: Mailand ist mit dem Zug in 25 Minuten für 3€ pro Person zu erreichen

Lage
Das Starhotels Anderson liegt nur 100 Meter entfernt vom Hauptbahnhof und den Geschäften der Via Vittor Pisani mitten in Mailand, Italien. Die Boutiquen und Restaurants des Corso Buenos Aires liegen drei Blocks entfernt. Die Pinacoteca di Brera und das Museum Cenacolo Vinciano, in dem da Vincis Gemälde „Das Abendmahl“ ausgestellt ist, liegen im Umkreis von drei Kilometern.
Charakteristika des Hotels
Die moderne Lobby des Starhotels Anderson zeigt sich im zeitgemäßen Sackleinendekor, mit Kunst an den Wänden und roten Teppichen, die durch die schwarzen Emaillepaneele kontrastiert werden. Eine umfangreiche Bibliothek ergänzt den Sitzbereich, der gleich an das elegante Restaurant mit Cocktailbar angrenzt. Mittag- und Abendessen bestehen aus regionalen italienischen und internationalen Spezialitäten.
Für geschäftliche Anlässe und besondere Veranstaltungen verfügt das Hotel über 4 Konferenzsäle, in denen bis zu 70 Personen Platz finden. Mailands Hauptbahnhof besitzt aufgrund seiner in Marmor gehaltenen Hallen und Galerien sowie seiner Mosaikfußböden monumentalen Charakter. Er ist Norditaliens größter und geschäftigster Bahnhof und dürfte wohl Europas schönster Bahnhof überhaupt sein. Viele internationale Züge und Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge halten hier, und auch die Innenstadt ist dank der Metro gut zu erreichen. Ganz in der Nähe ragt der Wolkenkratzer Grattacielo Pirelli in den Himmel, der Mailands höchstes Gebäude und ein Symbol für den Wohlstand der Stadt ist.

4* sind nach deutschen Verhältnissen etwas zu hoch angesetzt. Die Einrichtung an sich ist nett, die Zimmer schön geräumig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof, direkt unter der Hotelklimaanlage - der Geräuschpegel nachts war extrem, nur weil wir so kaputt waren, konnten wir einigermaßen schlafen. Frühstück war so lala, klein, wenig Auswahl. Aber es […] gab einen guten Cappuccino. Allerdings unschlagbar ist der Standort direkt am Zentralbahnhof. Der Malpensa Zubringerbus hält quasi direkt vor dem Hotel, was bei An- und Abreise undbezahlbar ist. Desweiteren steigt man sofort in die Metro oder Straßenbahn und ist im nu im Zenrum. Zum Schlafen ok, sonst ist man ja eh unterwegs, letztlich aber trotz der Sparrate zu hochpreisig. Mehr

"Ideale Lage"
Das Hotel liegt perfekt. Gleich bei der Stazione Centrale wo man schnell mit der Metro an die beliebten Orte von Milano gelangen kann. Das Hotelzimmer war schön gross (normales Doppelzimmer gebucht) und das Bad war auch sehr komfortabel. Das Früstück war sehr vielseitig. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen weil die Preisleistung stimmt !

Positiv: Lage ist super, Hotel optisch wirklich richtig schön, hotelbar und service sehr gut. zimmer schön, bad groß genug, objektiv einwandfrei, frühstücksangebot ist auch in ordnung. Negativ: Klimaanlage!! Lässt sich nicht individuell abstellen, läuft die ganze zeit, nur die temperatur kann man ändern, sie ist laut und ich wurde wie immer bei klimaanlagen […] krank. auch 2 meiner drei begleiter waren deswegen krank und konnten wegen des lärms schlecht schlafen. am ersten tag gab es um 9 keinen platz im frühstücksraum und wir mussten 30 min warten!! sehr ägerlich, am zweiten tag überhaupt kein problem. fitnessraum ist ein witz, aber man fährt ja nicht für sport dorthin. Fazit: Preis-Leistung absolut top, sehr empfehelnswert und ich werde meinen nächsten mailand-aufenthalt ganz sicher wieder dort verbringen (viell kann man wegen der klimaanlage etwas verbessern)! The hotel was right next to the train station, it was a quality hotel, clean, nicely decorated, we had a fantastic room and the best bathroom of the trip and the best bed of the trip. This is a fine hotel!!!

"Great Hotel Right Near Train Station"
This hotel definitely exceeded expectations. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with lots of options and hot items. Room was spacious and very updated for a European hotel - We had a real queen sized bed and a nice modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend to others traveling to Milan.

very convenient location, next to the train and metro station, but the only bad thing is that you have to pay 5 euro for using the WIFI at your room though the front desk will give you a password for 30 minutes free WIFI access. I would suggest the hotel to absorb that 5 euro into the rate of the hotel and I will feel better for using a "free" WIFI […] . Mehr

Everyone from the "front of house manager" up to the "doormen" and "chambermaids" were consistently wonderful. they made the travelling itself all worthwhile and had great suggestions for eating houses - one of which was ultimately filled with fashionistas drinking water, smoking their heads off and hoping […] to absorb calories from the food on their plates by telekinesis rather than mastication. "Just another 3 star hotel with good location"
Room is very clean and new. staff is not helpful when i requested to turn down heater. They didnt give us any solution when we asked them. Breakfast is exactly the same every morning. Location is good, not many eatery though. If you just want a good location, this hotel can be a choice. If you need more service, not recommended.

"Nice hotel with a few flaws"
The experience checking into the hotel was a hassle. There is no place to park a car, and we had to wait for a bell man. Upon leaving the hotel, we had to pay for the parking in cash, as the hotel parking garage did not accept credit cards. Plus, the parking was a little steep at 25 € for the night.

This is a quiet, friendly, comfortable, well-appointed, impeccably-run hotel. And, best of all, it is just across the road from the Stazione Centrale which is the hub for long-distance and international trains. Two metro lines cross there; buses to both Linate and Malpensa airports leave from just outside; there is a huge taxi rank. Perfect!

Hotel was excellent but the evening meal we had in the restaurant was disappointing. Main course was returned to kitchen twice because it was not cooked - chicken breast.
Location is good, 5 mins from the train station. Nice room. These are the positives of this hotel. For the price paid for the hotel, the breakfast does not meet my expectation. The walls of the room is very thin. On my last night, some people spoke and laugh along the corridor the whole night and we couldn't sleep. Recently my husband and I stayed at the Anderson Star hotel in Milan. We found the location of the hotel perfect,close to the railway station, bus to airport 7.50 euro compared to 95euro by taxi and close to the tourist "hop on/off bus". The hotel staff was quiet friendly sometimes the language barrier was an issue. Breakfast was excellent, however […] did not experience the dining room for dinner. Nice Hotel to stay apart from the breakfast and internet that cost 12 euro for 24 hours which is non stop.There is a very good Chinese restaurant ( mainly buffet very close to this hotel .16 euro for lunch and 20 euro for dinner.

"Great hotel experience"
For the price I payed, this hotel provided a superb service and excellent comfortable room. All of the staffs at the front desk spoke English and were very helpful. Breakfast is really good. Neighborhood is not that bad, and there is bus from Linate or Malpensa airport directly to and from the Milano Centrale, so it was so convenient.

The Hotel itself is great. Was upgraded to an exec room which was really really nice. Breakfast was quite good. My only complaint was the neighborhood. I was there on a Sunday night and most of the restaurants in the area were closed. Those that were open were expensive, seedy, or subpar as far as the menu offerings. One of many business hotels in Milan, near the metro so very convenient in that sense. The food wasn't very good though, and in any case plenty of places to eat out in Milan.
